The Sword of Somplak

The Sword of Somplak
Diabolical

Upset not being responded to by the young man below, Handsome God together with his two companions pulled the sword from the spatial ring and floated down with ignited fury. Ucup grinned and he quickly moved avoiding the quick slashes of the three false gods that attacked him.

“You are just a warrior who does not cultivate, yet you have incredible speed. Who exactly are you?”

The young man smiled wryly as he clasped both hands behind his back. No words came from his lips. He continued to smile without answering, making the tall man growl with anger.

“You're like a dead body that can't answer a question. So, be a corpse so that I do not have to wait for your answer,” denounced the Handsome God who is no longer able to hold back anger.

“Stop that arrogant young man!” tell him firmly.

The two friends immediately flashed to attack Ucup with sword slashes. When the two had not reached a position of danger to him, Ucup had already disappeared from his position. Thus, the sword swing that the two were emitting was only capable of slashing through empty air.

“Sial, she's so fast!” grouse the land rat woman.

“Beware and don't let your guard down!” the one-eyed man reminded him.

Ucup was again seen within five spears of the two false gods. He was still standing quietly holding both hands on his back, as if no attack had occurred before.

The two false gods returned to the starting position with Handsome God. Now, they stood in a row straight. Sweat seeped throughout their bodies, making their clothes stick tightly to the body. The sound of their breathing mingling revealed the tension felt. They realized the young man he was facing was not an indiscriminate opponent.

With graceful and relaxed movements, Ucup flicked the sleeves of his robe. He then raised his face, looking at the sky, as if he was enjoying a beautiful scene. Although all that is seen is a cloudy cloud that never lowers the rain.

As he raised his head, a ray of light flashed, and suddenly there was a shadow of someone attacking him, that person was none other than the Handsome God who was the first to make the next attack. At the same time, his other two friends came from two different directions. However, Ucup remains calm, motionless, and almost invisible to the ordinary human eye.

Suddenly, both of his hands began to move in an astonishing motion. The movement was extremely strange and incredible, so fast and deft, and in just an instant, the sword shadow that rippled into his body was able to dodge it extremely well, he said, even from the three sword swings that came simultaneously from three different directions.

After which, Ucup formed two energy sword blades by utilizing the wind element absorbed from the surrounding realm. His lips lifted up grinning at the sight of the three gods who were about to attack him again.

The wuzz!

The three gods flashed against the young man. This time Ucup did not dodge it, he held it back with an energy sword clasped in both of his hands.

Trang!

Sreth!

One slash managed to cut off the neck of the land rat woman until her head fell on the ground.

The action took place very quickly and was completed in the blink of an eye. Ucup is seen to remain relaxed with his hands clasped back, and his head remains raised. His breathing was in order, as if all the time he was just looking at the sky and never bothered by anything or anyone around him.

Now there were only two people left, both of them standing like statues. Highlights of their dim eyes looked like the light spot of a growing firefly fading. The rest of their light was almost extinguished, and it felt just how much fear, resentment, and hatred they had in their hearts.

With a cold and expressionless look, Ucup noticed the two people in front of him. His face did not reflect satisfaction or joy over victory; he seemed to feel as though he deserved the grace of victory from the outcome of battle.

The two men stared at each other for a moment. The man who previously had a sharp and fierce one eye now looked doubtful. Likewise with the Handsome God who is now starting to lose his arrogance.

From the beginning to the present, Ucup has never uttered a word, but the look in his eyes and facial expression reflect who Ucup really is. Ucup was already convinced of the end result of this fierce battle. His cold demeanor and fearsome appearance also exuded an authority unmatched by anyone.

Almost unnoticed by everyone, slowly, the two gods began to retreat. This is a natural reaction to fear. They might never have imagined that the ordinary life they had enjoyed all this time with all its triumphs would simply vanish.

Ucup moves quietly in the middle of the weeds. His gaze was fixed on the weeds affected by the splashes of blood. The rods of the weeds are still moving down and up exposed to the gusts of wind, dancing timidly. Black clouds rolled in the sky, adding a sinister touch to the surrounding atmosphere.

Slowly, Ucup took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. Then, all of a sudden, he exclaimed loudly, as if coming from a great distance away, "The battle for life is over; the rest of the living is carcass; which other death should begin?"

Silently, the two gods felt trembling, and subconsciously they stared for a moment. Gently, Ucup turned his gaze back to the cliff of the hill that left the blood drier, and he spoke softly, "Every time there is death, no matter where it is. Like the air around us, death lurks behind our heads. Often it creates matchless sadness. He was present and wiped out all the laughter in the face. However painful, death is still something natural. No one can prevent it. We could have run away from him. But it's only a matter of time, before death takes us into his arms, no matter how."

With clear and sharp eyes, Ucup looked at the two in turn. He continued his words, "Defying death means defying nature. And it was a futile effort. Not accepting death as a fact of life is a useless part of delusion. If that's the case, we live in endless dreams that torment the soul."

Unfortunately, in this situation, the two gods were not very interested in listening to the words and philosophy of Ucup. Unconsciously, they continued to retreat, and their three eyes did not dare to blink when they saw him.

“You cold-blooded man ..., you are so cruel!” the Handsome God growled.

Ucup replied, “You said I was cruel!? Then what about all the villagers you killed? And what about the people you made collisions in the Blood Lake …? Now who are you supposed to call that mean? Tell me!”
