The Sleeping Prince

Ucup and Princess from school. Mom Maya immediately approached the two who had just entered the house.

“Aa, later in the afternoon Mr. Gofur will visit home. Mom called her, told her about the dream that Aa had been having all this time. Mom, Aa don't play today!” said Bu Maya told him.

“Good, Mom,” says Ucup short.

In the afternoon, the waiting guests finally arrived.

Geck, tok, tok.

“Assalamualaikum,” greetings Mr. Gofur on the doorstep.

Ms. Maya who was busy cooking in the kitchen immediately stopped her activities, then she rushed to open the door.

“Waalaikumsalam,” welcome Bu Maya smile, “please enter, Mr Gofur! Sorry, the house is still a mess.”

Mr. Gofur smiled back at him, then followed Bu Maya's steps into the living room.

“Please sit down, Sir!” pinta Bu Maya then stepped towards the stairs.

“Aa, let's get down! Mr. Gofur has arrived,” call Bu Maya with a loud voice.

“Good, Mother. A minute!” uthut Ucup straight out of his room.

Ucup greeted Mr. Gofur and sat opposite him.

“Bu Maya, can I ask for a glass of mineral water?” pinta Pak Gofur's.

Maya nodded and went to get it. After that, Maya put it on the front desk of Mr. Gofur.

Holding Ucup's forehead, Mr. Gofur began to recite prayers. Afterwards, Mr. Gofur asked Ucup to drink water that had been recited prayers. Ucup followed him by gulping down the water that the prayer had read.

“How, Sir? What really happened to my son?” ask Bu Maya with curiosity.

Mr. Gofur shook his head and replied, “We leave everything to God Almighty, we do not know what His plan is. Even so, I'm hunching, Ucup will be a big guy in the future.”

Maya nodded slowly. 

“Thank you, Sir. Please taste the potluck confectionery!” tawar Bu Maya's.

After the departure of Mr. Gofur, Ucup rested his head on the seat cushion. His mind was not good, he felt that something would happen in his future journey. His gaze was fixed on his mother who was daydreaming thinking of him.

“Bu, what happened to me? Why doesn't Mr Gofur know anything about my dreams?” tanya Ucup is still curious.

Mom Maya was a little surprised to hear that. With a slight forced smile, Bu Maya said, “Mom doesn't know either, Son. However, as Mr. Gofur said, we must surrender everything to the Almighty God of all things.”

After saying that, Maya Ma left Ucup who was still leaning on the cushion of the chair.

Ucup snorted softly, his mind still fixated on the dreams he often experienced.

“I better not think of something I don't understand. Fear not! Bastard is weak,” his murmur is encouraging.

Ucup then stood up from the chair and stepped up the stairs towards his room.

Day by day Ucup has passed. The same dream happened every time he fell asleep. Ucup strengthened his determination to brave himself to face whatever will happen to him in the future.

One morning, Ucup helped his mother cook in the kitchen. 

“Bu, someday when Aa is already working, Aa wants to have a wife like Dad who has a Mom. A kind and loving wife,” chirps Ucup while slicing a red onion.

Bu Maya blushed to hear it, the corner of her lips widened with a look of eyes that radiated happiness.

“Hopefully Aa's wish is reached, yes, dear. You must remember, be a man who is responsible for your wife and children later,” reply Bu Maya prayed and reminded him.

Ucup nodded his head in approval of his mother's words. Finished cooking, as usual Ucup will have breakfast with his father and sister. After that, Ucup with Putri say goodbye to his school. 

On the way, the curious Princess of the romance of her brother ventured to ask, “Aa, how is Kak Indri? You guys don't fight anymore, do you?”

Ucup who heard him being indifferent, lazily, he replied, “Little boy, study hard. Don't take care of Aa's relationship with Indri!”

Ucup then pulled the gas tight and made the Princess surprised then hugged Ucup tightly with a face hidden on the sister's back.

“Aa, slowly. I reported to Mom just found out the taste!” the princess threatened him.

After the lesson ended, Ucup who was riding his favorite motorcycle was approached by his girlfriend, Indri.

“Aa, can I come to Aa's house? I haven't seen Mom in a long time,” pinta Indri with her beautiful smile.

“Alright, but I have to pick up Puput. You go home first,” reply Ucup and then pull the motor gas leave Indri in the parking lot.

Some time later, Ms. Maya who was lifting a clothesline in the backyard, heard the sound of a motorcycle horn that sounded in front of the front fence of her house. He also walked straight over.

“Eh, Indri Nak. I think, Nak Indri has forgotten Mother,” said Bu Maya then opened the gate.

“He-he, don't forget, Mom. Precisely I miss with Mother's cooking,” said Indri then pulled the motor gas and parked it in the corner of the page.

Shortly after, Ucup and the Princess arrived home. The two got off the bike and greeted their mother, who was standing up to greet them. Ucup and Putri immediately entered the house after greeting Indri who was standing next to Bu Maya.

“Nak Indri, I borrowed the motor briefly, I want to buy ingredients in the market,” pinta Bu Maya while sticking out my hand.

Indri reached into the pocket of the jacket and handed the key to Bu Maya. Suddenly from the inside of the house, the Princess ran quickly towards her mother.

After the departure of the two, Indri again sat on the terrace chair waiting for Ucup who would meet him. However, after a long wait, Ucup did not appear. Indri went into the house to get to him.

Ucup who was busy lying on the floor with only the school pants left, surprised by the presence of Indri who selonong enter his room.

“Eh, Indri! Why did you come in? I haven't changed my clothes,” scolds Ucup is nervous to see it.

Indri looked at him with annoyance and said, “Didn't you miss me?” Indri turned away.

Ucup stood up then pulled Indri's hand and hugged her, with the reflex of Ucup kissing her lover's thin lips. After that, the two looked at each other with happiness.

“You wait below! I don't want when my mom comes home and sees you here, I'll definitely scold us,” Ucup reminded.

Towards sunset in the western horizon, Indri returned home. The happy Ucup went straight back to his room and threw his body on the bed. 

Just as Ucup closed his eyes while listening to music, the Princess entered Ucup's room without tapping on it. Ucup who realized there was a person entering his room immediately stood up.

“Puput, if you enter knock on the door first. What if Aa's not wearing a shirt? Habit!” grumbled Ucup was irritated.

The princess touched her own nose mocking Ucup. By displaying a plain face full of curiosity, Putri brought her face closer in front of Ucup and whispered, “Aa was the same Kak Indri together in the room? I know, if you two take advantage of the emptiness of the house.”

Ucup grinned with a sharp gaze staring at the sister who displayed a face mocking him. Shortly after, he immediately bit his little sister's nose.

Krauk!

“Ah, Aa hurts!” Princess screams whose nose was bitten by Ucup.

He ran around holding his nose, crying. Instead, Ucup smirked coldly feeling satisfied to have bitten his sister's nose.

At night, Ucup felt a strong pain in his head. He rolled around clutching her hair until she could no longer hold it. Ucup was lying unconscious on the floor of his room.

The princess whose nose was covered in gauze, walked while carrying a book to her brother's room, Ucup.

Geck, tok, tok.

“Aa, help Puput work on PR!” said the Princess while continuing to knock on the door of the room.

There was no reply from inside the room, making the Princess feel confident that her brother was still angry with her.

“What Aa still angry with Puput? Sorry Puput yes, Puput promised to keep a secret,” he added hope Ucup would open the door and forgive him.

After waiting for quite a long time, the Princess began to be upset because it was not opened the door with her brother. He moved the door and pushed it. After the door opened, the Princess immediately looked at Ucup who was lying with a deathly pale face.

“Aa, wake! Aa why?” The princess continued to pat Ucup on the face, trying to wake him up.

“Aa!” the Princess shouted loudly.

Mr. Andi who was enjoying a cup of coffee accompanied by his wife, heard clearly the sound of screaming from his daughter.

“Bu, why is Puput screaming? Try Mom approaching!” mr. Andi said he asked for it.

“Usually Escape fight same as Aa. Mom goes upstairs first,” replies Bu Maya then rushes up the stairs.

There was a faint sound of crying from her daughter in Ucup's room. Ms. Maya further accelerated the steps towards her bachelor's room. 

Awakened feeling Bu Maya saw the condition of unconscious Ucup with a very pale face.

“Dad, come here, Dad! Here, Aa why? Dad!” screams cry Bu Maya gathered hugging Ucup.

Mr. Andi choked on the still hot coffee, hearing the cry of his wife. He ran quickly to his son's room. 

Do not want to buy time, Mr. Andi immediately holds the body Ucup.

“Come quickly, Mom! Get the car keys! We must quickly take our child to the hospital,” pinta Pak Andi stepped quickly to bring Ucup down upstairs.

Bu Maya quickly ran to get the key and opened the door and continued by opening the car door. 

Then, Mr. Andi put Ucup's body in the back seat leaning on the Princess' lap. After that, Mr. Andi immediately took his car quickly to the hospital.

In the waiting room of the Emergency Unit, Mr. Andi, Maya and also Putri waited anxiously for the state of Ucup who was being examined by a team of doctors who took him to the ICU room.

After about an hour, a male doctor approached.

“Goodnight, Father and Mother. Are you a family of patients?” ask the doctor to confirm.

“Iya's right, Doc. We are all family of patients, I am his father. How is my son doing now?” answered Mr. Andi with a question.

“Include, I'm Doctor Andre. Until now we have not been able to ascertain the condition of Brother Ucup. Once the results from the lab come out, we'll inform you. Before that, you should finish the administration first. We will treat patients until we find out the cause,”, Dr. Andre explained.

Okay, Doctor. Thank you,” timpal Mr. Andi then go to the administration room.

After a few days, Ucup was transferred to the inpatient room. Dr. Andre explains Ucup's condition to his family. In his explanation exposure, Ucup has nothing to worry about. Referring to laboratory results, Ucup's condition was declared normal, but the hospital is still investigating the cause of Ucup who is still unconscious.

Without feeling the time continues to pass, two weeks Ucup asleep in a hospital bed, no sign of himself will wake up from his long sleep. The hospital decided to continue investigating and developing Ucup cases to bring in several health experts to help solve the problems that afflicted Ucup on the recommendation of the relevant Health Service.

The news about the condition of Ucup became a byword among health practitioners and expanded into news in some media by calling it “Prince who slept”. 

Support flowed from the community even local officials to visit Ucup.
