Chapter 31: Don't Blame Yourself Again

Sherly kept crying in her mother's arms. Rey is currently in the operating room. She still does not know how her husband is, because it has been almost 2 hours but the doctor has not been out of the operating room.

Sherly's heart slipped and saw the blood-soaked bandage close her husband's left eye. The eyes that were so beautiful were no longer perfect. Sherly was heartily sorry for what happened this afternoon.

"It must hurt." Sherly touched the surface of the bandage that wrapped her husband's left eye. His gaze was sad and teary.

Rey shakes. "It's better than before. And this pain is nothing compared to having to watch you cry. For that don't cry anymore" asked Rey in a soft voice. Sherly nodded.

"You rest, I'll be out for a while. I'm hungry, let Leon accompany you here." Said Sherly who was then replied to a nod by her husband.

Sherly leaves Rey's room while covering her mouth with her palm. He doesn't want to if the stuffing gets heard by Rey. But unfortunately he has seen it, and Rey understands very well what Sherly is feeling right now.

He was just about to move, but the grip on his wrist stopped his steps. Rey shakes. Then he pulled Sherly and asked the woman to lie down next to him.

"Let it go, I'm a little sultry. You better get some sleep. It's late at night, come here and lie down next to me." Pinta the man.

Sherly gave no answer. Then she lay down her body beside Rey lying down, the woman drowned her face inside her husband's chest field hidden behind the hospital pajamas.

Sherly's still not sleepy, but she has no choice but to obey what Rey tells her to. Although it is difficult, Sherly tries to go to sleep immediately.
