Chapter 17: The Day of Happiness

Sherly still can't believe she's married. It seemed that she was still a widow this afternoon, and tonight her status had changed. It felt like all that was a dream.

Sherly looks at herself in the mirror and she is still wearing her wedding dress. "Is this real, or am I dreaming?" Sherly said as she pinched her own cheek many times. "Aww, sick!!" The girl screamed. It hurts, it means it's not a dream.

Sherly turned her head after hearing the sound of the door squealing open. The figure of Rey who was still wrapped in her black suit entered the room while breaking down a wide smile. Then Sherly moved and approached the man who had officially become her husband.

"Why are you here, has everyone gone home?"

Rey shakes. "I came here to call you. Your parents and brother are waiting to be taken, and are eager to meet their beloved daughter." Rey.

Sherly's eyes suddenly widened. "What?! Are they here?! How could we not contact them?" Sherly looked at Rey questioningly.

Rey took two steps closer. "However this is a very sacred and sacred event. And you'd be very sad if your wedding wasn't attended by them. That's why I asked the three of them to come." Rey explained.

Rey wiped the tears on Sherly's cheek and shook her head. "There's no need to think about them, and I won't make them especially mama to the point of hurting you. Yes, let's go down now. Don't make them wait too long." Rey said, Sherly nodded.

Bima looked at the pair of newlyweds who looked happy. Somehow his heart felt so tight to see the happiness of the couple which must be Rey and Sherly.

Upon seeing them on the boutique, Bima decided to follow where they were going. They went to a building to have a wedding. The sacred event was not attended by many invited guests, but they looked very happy.

Bima pressed his left chest which was painful. Hadn't she let Sherly go and picked the woman she loved, but somehow her heart was so overcrowded when she saw Sherly hanging out and being happy with someone else.

"I watched you keep seeing that happy couple. Do you know him?" Reprove a man who happens to be sitting not far from him.

Bima turned her head and looked at the middle-aged man slightly flat. "Yes, the married woman is my ex-wife. We divorced 7 months ago because it's no longer in line and I love other women." The answer.

"Then why do you look so sad to see them happy? What do you still expect from a broken marriage? If God doesn't make you a fool. Even though a marriage that has lasted for decades will definitely fall apart."

Bima looked back at the two of them. Sherly is currently hugging the woman she knows to be the girl's real mother. And how stupid Bima who does not know if actually Sherly is not a person who comes from a family not being let alone a village girl.

And the parents who married them were the ones Sherly hired to be her parents. Apparently Sherly does not want her status as a big Miss to be known and used by her and her family who thirst for treasure.

Miss Ivanka couldn't hold back her tears. Eventually his daughter finds a man who might just be her true love. Seeing how sincere Rey makes Mrs Ivanka very confident if she can make her daughter happy.

Sherly wiped away the tears that had dripped on her mother's pretty face. "What did Mama cry about? Your daughter is now happy." Sherly said with a smile.

"You misunderstood me, honey. Mama is not questioning you, but your brother who until now is still alone. He's 35, but he hasn't got his soul mate yet. And Mama's afraid that she's a weathered bachelor." Mrs Ivanka.

Sherly immediately cengo after hearing the reason her mother was crying. But not surprisingly, considering that her brother who until now has not found his partner.

"Mama take it easy, I'll help Brother Steve to get a partner soon. I happen to have a lot of acquaintances and girlfriends, all of them are pretty."

"Good, good, Mama was very supportive. You should help your sister. Mama's just afraid she's an old bachelor."

Steven scratched his nape in frustration after hearing the talk of his mother and sister. Then he approached the two of them with a clear face.

"Ma, stop forcing me to get married!! I still want to enjoy my wonderful youth. I'm not ready to be head of the household and lose my freedom. And if you want a grandchild, you can ask Sherly and Rey. They can definitely give it to you," Steven said at length.

Everyone is so happy today. And Sherly hopes this kind of happiness will last forever. There's no third person in her and Rey's marriage. Even though Sherly herself wasn't sure about it. Given how madam Veronica hates him.
