Alexa enters the office building. He stopped his steps when he saw the commotion ahead.
Some employees in blue uniforms looked angry about to rush into the office door, they were confronted by security. The two foremen who stood at the front appeared to be engaged in a fight with three security who blocked. Alexa then approached the crowd.
Five people who made a scene fell silent when they saw the arrival of Alexa.
“What is this?” alexa's gaze was fixed on one of the foremen, Fatih's name.
“Employees ask for a raise, Miss,” replied Fatih.
Alexa's gaze circulated to the faces of several employees standing behind the foreman.
“You want to raise?” alexa resolute.
They looked at each other, then nodded.
“You come with me!” alexa appoints two employees and enters the main door and takes the elevator.
Ten minutes waiting in his room, two appointed employees had yet to enter. Shortly thereafter Fatih entered the room. Alexa frowned at Fatih's arrival.
“Why did you come in? Where are the employees I asked to face?” alexa asked as Fatih sat in her front seat.
“Sorry, they are reluctant to enter, they ask me only who is facing.”
“Call them!”
“Sorry, it feels less fitting if employees directly face you. There are levels and procedures to face the boss, I represent them.”
“I want to hear their complaints directly.”
“They want to go up in salary.”
“This is already the second time the request for a raise. Impossible I fulfill.”
“I only think about employee welfare. I convey their expectations.”
“I think a lot more about their well-being by raising the salary bigger than last year. I even increased the overtime price. This is far from the word prosperous.”
“My calculator is never wrong.”
“If Miss does not want to raise the salary, I will gather employees to do a demonstration. Most likely the losses that the company will receive are getting worse if they strike.”
“Good it. Please, I want to hear their aspirations directly. That's exactly what I asked them to meet me, not you.”
Fatih's face flushed. Now he's down.
“Back to work. Tell the employee that I won't raise my salary. The salary increase they received a few months ago was enough for well-being.”
“Nona..”
“Udah! Comeback!” cut Alexa and point the door.
Fatih got up from the chair and left.
After Alexa's decision, the office building remains safely under control, there is no commotion. He thought the employee would actually demo his decision, but his guess was wrong. Everything's fine.
The door opened again shortly after Fatih left. Jacob entered the room.
“Good morning, Miss Alexa!” Jacob sat in the front seat of Alexa.
“Again!”
“This is the result of a report over the past few months, Mr. Azlan is not in the company due to duty to Riau, so I report the bookkeeping to Miss.”
Alexa opens the map that Jacob handed over. “Good. Very good work. You are indeed reliable. Did Azlan ever contact you to ask about work?”
“No, Miss. Network there is very bad, and not even reachable signal at all.”
“Yes, I know that. Who knows Azlan had climbed a tree or what.”
Jacob almost laughed but he could stand it. Yes squirrels, use climbing trees all.
