Missing In The Heart

Missing In The Heart
Chapter 44. Welcome London's.

After a 14.5-hour flight without Rachel's transit, Mahavir and Bryan finally arrived safely in London at 19.40pm.

A gust of wind at 8 degrees Celsius immediately greeted them as they exited the airport door. Out there is already Stuart the assistant Mahavir who has been waiting for their arrival since.

"Welcome Mrs Alister." Stuart immediately greeted Rachel while extending his right hand regardless of Mahavir's sharp gaze.

Rachel momentarily scanned the appearance of the Scottish man standing before her in a neat suit. About 35 years old and above. Rachel felt like she had seen him a few times, but did not remember where she had met him.

Mahavir was still a little astonished, he brushed Stuart's hand off before Rachel shook it. At one time, Stuart had never been heard in Indonesian. "You can speak Indonesian?"

"That's how it is." Stuart casually replied with a still stiff language accent, as if deliberately to tease his superior.

Mahavir was flabbergasted, "So all this time...?"

"You never ask." Stuart smiled faintly without feeling guilty and then extended his hand to Rachel.

Rachel also reached out her right hand to shake, but was immediately pulled by Mahavir.

"Don't hold hands! Just bring the luggage." Mahavir's orders were upset. Rachel's hand she was holding was directly put into her longcoat pocket.

Rachel just sighed, she was already lazy to argue. The long journey really made him tired.

Stuart smiled again and turned to greet Bryan. After a bit of small talk, Stuart led them to the latest black sedan that was parked neatly in front of the exit. They quickly got into the car, before the cold got more and more ambush.

After starting the car engine, Stuart immediately drove the vehicle to leave the airport area. Passing through some of London's icons that are clearly visible from behind the car window.

"We're going to Granny's house, huh?"

"No, we're not there."

"Where are we going?"

"To my place."

"Alister Hotel? or your father's residence?"

"Not both."

"then where?"

"To my place."

Rachel patted Mahavir's thigh upset, "Where is that?"

"Come in peace. I'm not kidnapping you."

Rachel scowled, turning around to throw her face towards the window. Locking tightly his mouth while watching the streets that looked slightly wet.

Although at night but the crowd is still visible at some point.

After a few minutes of driving in silence among the passengers, the black sedan finally entered the basement of one of the skyscrapers. Then stop when already in the private car park space that was previously neatly parked two luxury sports cars.

From that space, they entered the elevator which immediately led them to one of the penthouses located on the top floor of the building. Luxury residence located above the River Thames that promises amazing views.

"Sorry if it's a little messy, because all this time I've mostly stayed at the Alister hotel." Mahavir said as he opened his Penthouse code. "Stuart the suitcase directly take it to the second floor." Further. Directly run by Stuart.

Some of the lights in the room turned on by themselves as a result of sensors that read human movement.

Unwelcome, Bryan walked straight to a large glass window that was deliberately used as a barrier wall from the outside world, which shows the iconic London Eye is sparkling red and very famous among tourists.

Rachel stepped into the dark gray marble floor, spread her gaze around, admiring every inch of the opulence of a two-story Penthouse with two rooftop terraces. He was a little dumbfounded, speechless rather. He realized Mahavir was rich, but still there were always small surprises from the man he still considered mysterious.

"This is your Penthouse?"

"Our baby..." Erat Mahavir, pulled Rachel's hand and took her around every corner of the room. Not until there, with a sparkling face Mahavir also took Rachel up the stairs to the second floor to one of the rooms.

"This is our room. The furniture is all standard. But if you want, you can rearrange everything back to your taste." Not yet had Rachel react, Mahavir pulled back to the walking closet and showed the whole contents. "Here there are already some other clothes and accessories for you, I don't know if this suits your taste or not, Stuart who prepared the...."

"Vir..." Rachel interrupted immediately.

"Why? If there's something you don't like you just take it out and we replace it with...."

"Virrear...!!" Back Rachel interrupts, pulls Mahavir's hand and makes him face to face with her. Rachel raised both eyebrows, looking at Mahavir with a difficult look at her.

"Why?"

"It's a little overkill."

"For my woman there's nothing I can't do."

Rachel smiled hearing that. "Gombal Basin. I was wondering, how rich is my husband?"

"The rich man is not me, but my father. It's all his sweat." Showing off her special smile while rubbing her nape, as if embarrassed by her own words.

"Just like, you're his son. His future successor."

Mahavir again smiled, then gently rubbed Rachel's head and kissed her forehead. "You likey?"

"What?"

"This place, if you're not comfortable I can find a single house in the residential area that you like."

"No, it's too comfortable. Lying when I say I don't like."

"From now on whatever is mine is yours too. I'm not fighting or anything, but as long as I can I'll do anything for you, including making you happy."

Hearing that Rachel fell silent, bowed to see Mahavir's hand clasping his hand tightly. Both of his eyes seemed to be thinking about something.

"Why again?"

"Ah.. No, it's okay." Turning his face towards the window, avoiding Mahavir's gaze.

Mahavir pulled that turned face, looked at him deeply, trying to figure out what other uneasiness he had.

"If you don't want to say it, I'll never know." Speak with a tone full of tenderness.

"You...." Rachel paused for a moment, sighed, then went back to saying, "you are always full of surprises. Every time I feel like I have recognized you, again you show me your other side. It turns out there's still a lot I don't know about you. What's the reason you married me? why did you choose me? Why do I have to be among the many beautiful women out there? Everything is still unanswered. Those thoughts keep you mysterious to me."

There was a sound of breathing from both.

Mahavir pulled Rachel's shoulder and drowned her in his arms. Trying to convince a woman through her heart.

"Don't recognize me through what you see, but recognize me through what you feel. No matter how much you try to recognize me, you will always be stuck with my other side, which may one day surprise you. But know that I never meant anything bad to you, my love is sincere to you at all times."

"Can I trust him?"

"Ask your heart. No matter how hard I try to convince you, if your heart is still closed I can do what. Your own heart knows the answer."

Rachel was stunned by Mahavir's words. He himself was still confused by what his heart was feeling.

"Of that, don't think about it too much. We go slowly." Back to Rachel's forehead.

"Oh yeah, you're not hungry? Want to have dinner?"

Rachel sighed softly. "Still full, it had already eaten time on the plane. I just need a shower."

"Alright, then I'll meet Bryan and Stuart first."

"Hmm" Rachel answered briefly and went into the bathroom.

After seeing Rachel's back disappear behind the bathroom door, Mahavir also moved out of the room. Back down the stairs and approach Bryan who is still amazed by the view he saw from behind the window.

"Bryan's"

"Eh, brother Vir..."

"Sister, I just called."

"If Raya?"

"I've already chatted. Had wanted a phone but was afraid to interfere, because there was still 3 at dawn."

"You're serious about him?"

"It seems so big brother, I even promised to propose to him when he graduated."

"Wow..so fast?"

"For me it's fast, but for him......."

"Hmm, that's right. Then you should try to graduate quickly. I see your values are good. I hope you graduate cumlaude."

"Amin, thank you brother, I will study diligently. For my own future."

"Good, this is my brother." Patting Bryan on the shoulder and rubbing him slowly. Spreading the affection of a brother to his sister. The young man smiled when he made it.

"Aren't you hungry?"

"Still full. Take a shower and rest."

"Alright, the room is on the second floor. Above are three rooms, to the right are two empty rooms, you just choose one of them."

"Then I go up first Brother Vir."

Mahavir nodded, then met Stuart who sat down with a henchman on one of the chairs in the minibar while drinking a canned drink he had just taken from the refrigerator.

"Why are you still staying? forgot the way home?" walking past Stuart, entered a room that looked like a private workspace with a wide variety of books on shelves attached to the wall.

Stuart followed behind. "Finally.congratulations on the wedding...."

Mahavir did not respond, he looked at Stuart sharply, feeling that Stuart had been playing tricks on him all along. "That means all this time that I've been cursing at you, you know what that means?"

"That's about."

"Basic!! I'm sending it to Antarctica and I just know the taste."

"Unfortunately, only the President can kick me out."

"That's why you're getting so insolent."

"Peace..." Stuart laughed and showed off a row of white teeth. "The president told me to always practice your English skills."

"Well, you must have listened to it more than I did." Grunts angrily and sits on the chair behind his desk. Open up some paper files and some booklets lying on the table.

"That's Oxford University's orientation booklet."

"You've taken care of everything, haven't you?"

"Sisa where he lives. Want to be in a college dormitory or find a flat outside."

"I'll ask him."

"It seems you love him very much. I think you're only responsible for liking her brother."

"Newly aware?"

"Did Mrs.Alister know?"

Mahavir did not answer, but from the look in his eyes Stuart could tell. "Where is the President now?"

"He's in America, he's back next week."

"Send me the schedule."

"For what?"

"So I can find a reason to avoid it.

"Why?"

"I don't want Rachel to see him again. Looks like Rachel's not comfortable."

Stuart frowned, needing more explanation.

"Huh, stop.. Go home."

"When are you back at the hotel?"

"As long as you can handle it, I'll relax with my wife."

"Honeymoon??"

"To be more precise, pursuing his love...." Mahavir slightly chuckled for a few seconds then fell silent, his countenance turning mellow. "For a honeymoon it seems like it's still a long way off, her heart is still closed to me. He still feels trapped by this marriage."

"I hope Mrs.Alister can find out how much you love her. But before that you also have to be prepared for the consequences."

"Well, you're right..."

"Then I say goodbye. You just call me if you need anything."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My wife looks like she'll be taking part in London Fashion week, please help her. But keep it as discreet as ever, she won't know."

"Why do we have to be in secret? Had you married her, wouldn't it be natural that you would have been blatantly helping her?"

"You don't know him, he must have insisted on not needing anyone's help."

"Bright... If only he knew who was behind his success. I've been with you for almost nine years, during which time you asked me to continue to monitor the woman. Help him achieve his goals to success like now secretly. I don't know about your past, but I'm really tired of the way you two think."

"So now you've been complaining?"

"It's not like that, never mind! I will carry out all your commands. Besides, there's nothing else, right?"

"Yes"

"Okay, I'll step down first." Slightly bent over, twisted his body and walked towards the door. But before pulling the door handle, Mahavir called back to him.

"One more time, please call one of the servants from the president's house to work here. Choose the most diligent."

"Well, there's nothing else?" Ask him unreservedly.

"For now that's all, sorry for the trouble." Mahavir chuckled, enjoying Stuart's annoyed look.

"Indeed since when have you not troubled me?" He muttered while looking down saluting, then pulled the door handle and disappeared behind it.

* * *

Rachel had already fallen asleep under the blanket when Mahavir entered their room. With a sneak Mahavir directly into the bathroom to clean himself.

After a few minutes, Mahavir came out feeling refreshed and slowly immersed himself in the same blanket as Rachel.

In the silence of the night and the dim light of the sleeping lights, Mahavir looked at the beautiful face that was sleeping beside him. His fingers raised brushed the children a hair that slightly covered the beautiful face of the woman.

Actually Rachel had not yet fallen asleep, she still realized when Mahavir had entered the room. As much as Rachel's energy held back the tickle as Mahavir's fingers danced across her face, touching her eyebrows, her nose, her cheeks, and both of her lips. The fingers were long playing on both of his lips. Until then he felt Mahavir getting closer to him, warm breath was felt to touch the surface of his skin, making him no longer able to pretend to be asleep. Rachel frowned slightly and pretended to squirm slowly.

Mahavir who was about to kiss Rachel's lips, he stopped when he saw the movement of his wife. She was scared, afraid of not being able to hold herself back while Rachel was awake and she looked at both of her eyes. Slowly Mahavir turned his body, turned his back to Rachel and tried to shut up.
