“That means the poison is still there!?” Niu Zen was shocked.

Niu Zen and Niu Yuan certainly know the attitude of his daughter who is always cold to others, especially to men. This fairly drastic change in attitude makes them look like they are seeing a unique miracle.
Jian Chen then shifted the topic to something else that was about the intent of the offender poisoning Niu Yuan.
If if the perpetrator really wanted to kill Niu Yuan then he should have poisoned it with a poison that instantly killed but why use a slow-moving poison.

Meily also felt it but the beautiful girl was even more interested in staring at Jian Chen's face especially his golden eyes. Jian Chen had to cleared his throat slowly to make Meily wake up, the girl immediately blushed in embarrassment and misbehavior.
Indeed when Jian Chen's cultivation increased his golden eyes also became more domineering, Jian Chen's eyes exuded a beauty of their own to those who saw him.
