Eps. 33 — Ye Ziyun
Jian Chen used a few moves as the earth rats began to lash at him, with a sword in hand, Jian Chen put up a fierce resistance on the earth rat as well as killing some of them.
The earth rat was hard to kill, every time Jian Chen wanted to slash it, the demon had already first entered the ground. One way to kill him is to wait for him to come out of the surface.
Several times Jian Chen moved to a standing position because the ground he was treading began to be uneven again, often he was attacked by the demon just below his feet, fortunately Jian Chen still had time to pull his legs so as not to get their scratches.
Now that the earth rat had already surrounded Jian Chen from various sides, feeling already cornered Jian Chen changed his sword attack pattern.
Jian Chen inhaled a deep breath and then took it out of his mouth until it created steam from the corners of his lips. Jian Chen would use a breathing sword technique.
“Full Moon Sword Technique ~ Two Star Light.”
This technique was the one Meily used at the previous waterfall, a sword technique combined with a beautiful dance.
On his attack, this technique referred to Jian Chen's sword swing speed which increased tenfold from the start.
The earth rats that were leaping towards Jian Chen did not have time to react when suddenly the sword had already passed through his body. No matter the attacks from the various directions Jian Chen could handle it with this sword technique. In one run he could kill 15 ground rats in 5 seconds.
With his manager as well, Jian Chen managed to get out of the encirclement.
This swift slash gradually swung 15 times before Jian Chen's sword speed returned to normal. Jian Chen's heart rate increased a while after using this technique.
In fact, even though dozens of his comrades died did not make the horde of earth rats tremble, instead it made them hunt Jian Chen ferociously.
Earth rats that become stealth have a larger size than usual, their age is about 5 years but because the number of many like bees makes them so deadly.

Actually Jian Chen had a powerful stance that made all of these earth rats killed faster in a single strike, he could not use that stance for some reason.
Jian Chen realized that there was someone observing his fight, he was unwilling to use his manager in front of that person as it would cause trouble in the future.
‘There is no other way, I have to rely on my sword..”.
Jian Chen poured his profound strength into his sword then used a sword technique from his father. The technique could indeed kill some earth rats but was unable to fight them all.
As a result more and more scratches were about Jian Chen's clothes. When he wanted to use the other styles, the air around Jian Chen suddenly felt down drastically.
Not only did it get colder but there was a gust of ice created. Jian Chen was not surprised by it, he knew him quite well because this cold temperature phenomenon came from the person peeping at him.

Jian Chen took this opportunity and leaped away from the encirclement, Jian Chen's leap was so high from using his profound strength that he easily widened the distance from the horde of earth rats.
Jian Chen was about to use a long-range attack with his sword technique but suddenly a woman appeared beside him.
“Let me alone, even if you kill some of them it does not make the earth rat tremble to attack you. Instead they are afraid of the cold temperatures I use.”.
Jian Chen then looked at the girl and it turned out that he knew her in the Academy field earlier, that woman was Ye Ziyun, a close friend of Niu Meily as well as the leader of the Fire Lantern Faction.
Ziyun did not wait for Jian Chen's reply when the earth rat had already moved towards him. Ye Ziyun poured a deep power into his sword which instantly released cold energy.
“Elemental Ice ~ Ice Protective Wall.”
Ye Ziyun stuck her sword on the ground which instantly froze and spread so fast.
From the surface of the ice, created a large and tall chunk of ice, the chunk formed a wall that surrounded Ziyun and Jian Chen.
Ziyun turns out not to intend to fight the land rat, he uses his ice as a fortress to protect it.
The earth rats stopped when they saw the ice wall, they did not get close when they felt the temperature getting colder when close to the ice.
Although moving underground, it turns out that the ice Ziyun released also froze the surrounding underground area so that the earth rat could not dig under it.
Obviously, the swarm of earth rats did not accept their prey to run away but they also could not fight let alone feel the cold temperature. The group of earth rats finally reversed its direction and went away to look for other prey.

Jian Chen nodded then fused his hands together. “Thanks for your help, Miss.”
Although it looked like it was being helped in reality Jian Chen did not need Ziyun's help, he could have cleaned up the earth rat alone.
“No need to hesitate, I really should help you. I don't know why there's such a demon in the Silent Forest like this that definitely don't fight the mobs of rats, it's the same as delivering your life.”.
Ziyun was actually amazed at the young man in front of him especially he could last a long time surrounded by these earth rats.
Not only defending but also turning against him, if it were him even though he might not last long against those in the tens.
Ziyun came while Jian Chen had already killed a third of the earth rats, so he did not see how Jian Chen used the Niu Clan's sword technique.
Ziyun's gaze turned on the young man's face, his eyes widening when he saw the young man's golden iris.
Ziyun thought to the words of her best friend, Niu Meily, that she met a young man with golden eyes.
‘What is this young man is the same person who met Meily?’ inner Ziyun in heart.
