Eps. 234 — Anshan City

"Brother Jian, this is the city of Anshan, the third largest city in the Fire Dragon Province..." Ziyun introduced the big city that was in front of her.

Jian Chen smiled awkwardly, he pretended to nod despite actually knowing it in his first life.

Anshan City is a city that matches the capital Qianshan in the province of Lightning Dragon, both in terms of population and area.

What is different is that Anshan city is more advanced, the economy and city facilities are better than Qianshan City

After the three left the village, Jian Chen's entourage then continued on its way back for three days until he finally arrived at Anshan City in front of him.

Jian Chen did know the city but he had never been here, but one thing was missed when the name of the city was mentioned again just that Jian Chen forgot to remember it.

'Anshan City... The city will be famous in the future but what makes it famous?' Jian Chen scratched his head but still did not manage to remember that.

Jian Chen then gave his identification to the guarding officer as a sign that he was part of the Miou clan Association, Ziyun and Meily were also acting similarly, revealing his identification mark as an academy disciple.

Recalling that it was already almost dark when they reached the city, Jian Chen planned to find an inn first.

On his way, Jian Chen found the city filled with many visitors from outside the city.

Actually it is something that is reasonable considering Anshan City is a big city but different case if all of them on average are warriors.

Not only warriors in the realm of the Earth Realm down but the Hampa Nature and the Sky Realm are also gathered here.

"Iron Claw, Demon Gauge, Black Scorpion, what are they doing here!?" Jian Chen's forehead grew increasingly wrinkled when he got to know some of the swordsmen.

The swordsman Jian Chen mentioned earlier was a criminal who had been a fugitive of the Empire a long time ago, the arrival of the three of them at once signified that there was something strange.

As Jian Chen turned his head in the other direction his shock intensified, the known criminals grew more and more.

In the world of criminals, there is a kind of level that the law writes as a sign of their different crimes, starting from levels D, C, B, A, A, and lastly the Empire's criminals are called S-level criminals.

Level D is usually pinned to criminals such as thieves or petty crimes, while level S is high-level criminals who have taken many lives and endanger the government.

An example of a criminal at the S level is the Organization of 12 Shio Hunters, the crimes they committed could not be denied anymore, not just killing, they also slowly destroyed the foundation of the Empire's government as a whole.

On the other hand it was not only the high-level criminals that had sprung up in Anshan city, there were also the warriors of the Sky Realm that Jian Chen knew as good warriors.

Even so the gathering of powerful warriors into a city was obviously very awkward, Jian Chen was sure that something was going on in Anshan City that made them come here.

"Brother Jian, is there something?" Meily watched Jian Chen continue to look at the surroundings.

"No, I'm just looking around this town..." Jian Chen smiled faintly as he stroked the tip of Meily's head.

Jian Chen had better not tell all he knew to Ziyun or Meily as the two would feel unnecessary worry.

"I'll go see the state of the city, you don't go anywhere before I go back. If you need anything, call the servants, I've hired some of them to serve you both..." Jian Chen smiled gently towards Meily and Ziyun.

"I understand Brother Jian, I'm not going anywhere." Meily slightly blushed as Jian Chen paid attention to her.

"I'll wait for you to come back, be careful..." Ziyun smiled before nodding slowly.

After booking three rooms each, Jian Chen walked out of the inn while Ziyun and Meily rested, they were already exhausted from having made the long journey.

On the other hand, there was something that made Jian Chen have to find out about Anshan city and he was sure when he found out that information was very important and should not be missed.

The only way to search for such information was to go to a public place like a restaurant, therefore Jian Chen was now walking towards the famous large restaurant in the city.

The restaurant that Jian Chen came to was called the White Swallow restaurant.

"Hm? More than I thought?"

When he entered, Jian Chen found that there were already many visitors there, he then sat down at one of the tables that happened to be empty.

"Young master, do you want to order something?" One of the servants approached Jian Chen with a warm smile.

Jian Chen nodded and ordered food as well as drinks only, before the waiter turned Jian Chen suddenly gave him a pouch of money.

"This is a little gift for you, you can have it as long as you answer my words?" Jian Chen smiled meaningfully.

The waiter's eyes were round, he peeked at the contents of the pouch before smiling enthusiastically. "Young master, if you're looking for information then you've asked the right person!"

Jian Chen nodded, he then asked the reason why so many warriors had come to Anshan city.

"I did not hear it very clearly but I heard from the warriors who were chatting, they said they were looking for a book in this city. Everyone who comes here often says so."

Jian Chen frowned, he did not know there was a book in Anshan City at all but for a moment he remembered about the city in the future.

"I remember now, when I came out of training with the teacher, this city was already destroyed by a major attack. Could it..."

Jian Chen held his breath for a moment before being replaced with a soft belt, he was not too sure of his thoughts.

Jian Chen then asked the servant again, most of whom he could answer while others were uncertain of the truth. Jian Chen then allowed the servant to leave, it seemed like he would have to find out more about the book in question.

Jian Chen's food order shortly afterwards came, as he began to lift his chopsticks abruptly from the direction of the restaurant's door there was a group of rough-faced people.

Jian Chen's chopsticks came to a halt when he got to know one of the group, precisely he was the leader that was in his group.

"S-level criminal, a swordsman known for his swordplay. Wu Yi the Swordsman of Death..." Jian Chen knew the person.
