I'm taking care of his books and other equipment. Tomorrow I start college here.

I saw Rean sitting looking at me, but something was wrong. Both of his eyes were bright red. It was scary and gave me goosebumps. It was as if he was being controlled by someone.

I approached him and shook his body. "Rean, what's going on? You why?"

Rean didn't answer me. Both of his red eyes stared blankly. I was so panicked.

"Rean, Rean, Rean, say something." I cupped his face. However, the man fell unconscious.

I'll call the doctor right away. It just so happens that papa has the acquaintance of a doctor here. I also kept the number.

I shook Rean's body. "Rean, please don't be like this. Rean, wake up."

A few minutes later, the doctor I just called came. I let him in and asked him to check on Rean.

I saw the doctor highlight Rean's iris, which was still red under his eyelids.

"I rarely see a case like this. I don't believe this either, but it seems your friend was hypnotized."

My heart aches to hear the doctor's words. Hypnosis? How do you get Rean back to consciousness?

I cried in the corner of the room while hugging my own body. When Rean was like that, I couldn't do anything to help him.

Twisy came up to me me me meowing. Maybe he wants his snack. Normally he would be spoiled for Rean, now Rean was unconscious.

I took my snack and gave it to Twisy while crying.

Wouldn't Rean die, if I let him do it?

Twisy jumps onto the bed and melts her head into Rean's arm. Maybe he wants Rean to wake up and get him to play like he used to.

"Amethyst."

I was stunned to hear the foreign voice of the woman I could not see her form. My hair immediately goosebumps.

Who is talking?

"Amethyst."

"You want to see Rean? Come here, save your lover, hahahaha." That horrible laugh came from the closet.

It reminds me of something. Rean once took me to the borders of the drucless world by getting into a closet. Is it possible, this is also a sound from there? Could Rean's soul be trapped in a drucless world?

Do I dare go alone without Rean?

Should I just shut up?

It was as if I was encouraging myself. But, in reality I was very scared.

Until finally, I have to decide.

I took the pet cloth and hung it around my neck and put my cat in it. Only the head of Twisy appears like a baby. I brought a cell phone and a dagger just in case.

With a little courage, I pulled the knob of the closet door. I couldn't even swallow the saliva, so nervous.

When the closet opened, I was shocked to feel a strong gust of wind enter my room and drop some objects on the table. Twisy hides into the pet cloth.

All I saw in the closet was a dark, scary forest. There are a lot of big trees there.

My guts are back. However, for a moment I turned to Rean who was lying on the bed.

When the anxiety disturbed my mind, another woman's voice appeared in my head.

"Vita, he's the only one who's been watching you all this time. He's been with you all along. Even though you have everything, Rean is really always by your side. You're getting attention that you don't get from your mom and dad."

That sound is very similar to my voice. Is that me from the past?

"He's been waiting for you for hundreds of years and he promised not to touch you. Though he desperately held back his desire so that you would not be hurt by his attitude. He's selfish, but he loves you."

All right. I'm going.

I turned against the wind from the forest in the closet and stepped into it.

Drucless world, I came for Rean.
