AMETHYST: Drucless Lover

Rean found it difficult to find Amethyst. The man had to search the whole country of Gigarez to find a girl he had slept with.

After the incident that night, Rean was filled with regret and fear. He was always thinking about Amethyst.

Even the soldiers who had been deployed could not find him.

Rean, who had run out of sense, went to the temple of Goddess Amiless. Surely the temple is different from the temple that Amethyst usually visited. There are many temples near the palace. While the temple that Amethyst usually visited was located quite far away.

When I met Amethyst for the first time, Rean just finished meeting with the King of Zeroun, Daeriel. So, passing by, Rean visited one of the temples where Amethyst happened to be there as well.

Back to the story.

At midnight, Rean prayed at the temple of Goddess Amiless.

"Maybe I'm sane, but I love that girl so much. I'm also very worried about him. I want to be with him. I want to take responsibility for my mistakes. Give me a chance."

"You love her so much?" Suddenly a mysterious voice sounded. It was a female voice that had no idea where it came from.

Rean looked around. Without him noticing, the red-eyed beautiful woman was standing not far from him.

The winged animal in his hand made a sound. Rean looked over and was surprised to see the woman.

"Goddess," muttered Rean.

Goddess Amiless smiled beautifully. "Last time, you asked to be loved by your people. Now what do you want?"

Rean. "I want to be loved by Amethyst. I want him to love me."

Goddess Amiless looked at Rean seriously. "What you're asking for is gonna be paid a huge fee."

"I will do anything to pay for it" said Rean steadily.

Goddess Amiless smiled. "I just met the girl before I met you."

Rean was surprised.

"She wants to go back to being a holy girl to be my devotee."

Rean was desperate to hear Amethyst's wish through the words of Goddess Amiless.

"But your request is inversely proportional to his request. I have already manifested Amethyst's wish. Do I have to take back what I gave her for you?"

There was no response from Rean. The man realized, if he was a selfish man who always attach importance to his obsession with Amethyst.

"Well, for you I'll make it yours. Meet him tomorrow after sunrise around my temple, where you first met."

After saying that, Goddess Amiless disappeared.

Rean rubbed his face rough.

Rean had arrived at the same temple. However, he was surprised to see the Grulesses in the temple banishing Amethyst. Rean clenched his hands furiously seeing Amethyst being treated to it.

Rean wanted to get to the girl. However, he chose silence and waited for Amethyst to leave the temple. After that, he will meet the girl.

When Amethyst left the temple, Rean followed him. He felt sad to see Amethyst suffering.

The girl took a twig and would stick it into the stomach. Rean immediately ran to pull Amethyst's hand to drop the twig on the ground.

Amethyst's body suddenly became limp and fell unconscious. Rean immediately caught her and she crouched down to hold the lunglai's body.

The man raised Amethyst's body and brought it to Gigarez's palace.

The doctors checked the girl's condition. Rean was worried. A few hours (in the drucless world) later, Amethyst opened his eyes.

Rean breathed a sigh of relief. However, there was something different about the two eyes of Amethyst. His eyes used to be dark purple. Now the purple is a little bit faded.

The girl turned to Rean who was also looking at her.

"Your highness," muttered Amethyst with a trembling voice. The girl hugged Rean tightly.

Rean's surprised. However, he immediately returned the girl's embrace. The healers immediately left to give their King privacy.

"I'm scared."

Rean thought to himself, it seems like Amethyst has started to fall in love with me. Goddess Amiless, thank you.

"Amethyst, tell me, what scares you?" Ask Rean again.

"I'm stuck in a scary place. Everything is red. I'm stuck and I'm reminded of you, King. All I remember at that time was His Majesty."

Rean listened seriously.

"Suddenly, I miss you. I don't know why, but I love His Majesty."

Although it sounded ridiculous and absurd, Amethyst's remark made the man smile and happy. He kissed Amethyst's lips gently. The girl gasped a little, but she immediately returned Rean's kiss.

Shortly thereafter, a big wedding took place. However, it became a pro and a con in the Gigarez society, as Amethyst was a Gruless female.

Rean did not care, as if he had turned a deaf ear to the words of his people.

All the kings along with the queens of the great kingdoms came to congratulate the marriage of King Rean and his wife. One of them is King Daeriel Amzar Zeroun, the ruler of the kingdom of Zeroun which happens to be directly adjacent to the kingdom of Gigarez.

King Daeriel with Queen Natrissya and their son also came. The two congratulated Rean and Amethyst directly.

The little girl with round eyes smiled sweetly and shook hands with Rean and Amethyst.

"The Lauren Princess is very beautiful, she will soon be an adult" Rean said as he carried the small body.

Daeriel laughs. "I want him not to grow up too fast, I'm not ready to see him with another drucless man."

Rean laughing. "Daughter of Laureen, don't grow up fast, King Daeriel wants you to be with him always."

Daeriel and Trissya laughed. Amethyst simply smiled in response to her husband's words.

Bridal chamber, though,

"You ready?" Whisper Rean.

Amethyst looked doubtful, but a moment later, he nodded.

Rean pulled the nape of his wife to get closer. The man kissed Amethyst's neck gently. Both of his blue sea eyes turned black as dark as night. There was a pair of fangs sticking out of his mouth.

The man bit Amethyst's neck immediately. The girl squeezed Rean's black robe to vent his pain.

"Eurrgh! Rean! It hurts!" Shouted Amethyst.

The man let go of his bite and saw a bright blue-colored seal emerge from his bite scar wrapped around Amethyst's neck.

Rean bit his thumb so that blood flowed from there. The man slammed his blood into Amethyst's neck. His name appeared near the seal of his.

Rean cupped Amethyst's face which still implied pain. The man smiled and gently clenched his wife's lips. Amethyst returned her husband's kiss.

The lives of King Rean and Queen Amethyst are going well. They live happily in love.

However, Rean felt that something was wrong. Amethyst did seem to love her, but Amethyst's love for her was overrated.

Amethyst seemed to forget everything, he only remembered Rean. Instead of making Rean happy, the man began to worry.

Amethyst forgets about eating, forgets about daily activities, forgets about sleep, forgets about his own health. He paid much more attention to Rean than to himself.

That's not what Rean wanted. He wanted Amethyst to love him properly. If so, Amethyst impressed the love doll created by Goddess Amiless for Rean.

The man was more hurt to see Amethyst's love that was getting longer than normal.

Rean felt their happy life was a fake.

Rean wants to return to the temple of the Goddess Amiless and asks that Amethyst love her sincerely, not love her for an encouragement.

As he was about to board his horse, Rean heard the voice of the royal physician who cared for his father.
