Vampire'S Secret Baby

Vampire'S Secret Baby
|77|. Refusing to Eat Breakfast

Annette who had just fallen asleep again, slowly regained consciousness only to see the activities of the servants who had come to cleanse her body. They numbered four. One went to open the window curtain of the room and the other went to prepare a white mosquito net covering the bed where he lay.

It made the morning sunlight freely enter and filled every corner of the spacious room.

Some of her warm golden radiance, fell drenched over Annette's pale white face unfashionably. His eyes narrowed slightly due to the glare.

"Good morning madam"

Greet the four servants with widened lips presenting a polite smile.

Annette blinked her eyes while humming lightly.

"Sorry to interrupt your sleep, we came at the behest of Mr. Egbert who told us to cleanse your body" said one of the maids.

So far he has known only Mary, Zeta and Micah.

Annette responded by blinking her eyes as she muttered a little.

The four servants went to open the knot that tied Annette's hand to the bedpost. Afterwards, Annette's thin body was lifted and taken to Egbert's luxurious and large bathtub. The shape is round, enough to accommodate five adults in it. The edges are covered in teak wood which is carved beautifully in such a way— adds to its aesthetic value.

Inside there the warm water vapour poured into the air carrying the scent of rose petals scattered in the water along with the sweet fragrant vanilla milk.

Annette's body was slowly put into the bathtub. If he was healthy and energetic enough, he would have already expelled the four maids and said firmly he would have bathed himself. But his body was really weak right now and the servants Egbert had sent to bathe him were definitely a special kind of servant who possessed qualified martial arts.

As a result, he could only afford to accept their treatment.

But it doesn't feel bad. One gently rubbed his back and the other stroked his temple. The pampering service made Annette's eyelids stiffen and she fell asleep.

How many minutes passed, consciously himself was on the bed with a plain white home dress. Her body was fresh and full of fragrant rose scent combined with sweet vanilla milk.

Not to forget with both hands back tied to the bedpost. Seeing that Annette sighed softly.

"I'm this weak, but he still ties me"

The door of the room opened and the table of the food cart was pushed in by Zeta and Micah.

"Oh my goodness, madam.." The two exclaimed, looking unbearably at her pitifully tied in bed.

In response to that, Annette only reviewed a small smile.

"Why did Mr. Egbert have the heart to do this to you?" Zeta touches the silk cloth that ties Annette's hand. He felt like removing the knot, because he could not bear with Annette. But on the one hand, he was so afraid that Egbert would be wrathful of him later.

"It must have been because master was afraid that mistress Annette had run away again" Tukas Micah, looked at Annette with a concerned look. But just like Zeta, she was also powerless to do anything.

Up there is a glass of warm vanilla milk. Sandwich bread with egg, tomato, lettuce and cheese. A bowl of oatmeal mixed with various pieces of fruit and also there is a bottle of blood-boosting drugs.

"Said Lord Egbert your condition is very weak, so you have to have breakfast a little more than usual, to replenish your energy again" Tukas Micah.

"No" Annette finally made a sound.

"I don't eat" he said.

Micah and Zeta instantly exchanged glances.

"But madam, however you should sarap—"

"Tell your master, I'll only have breakfast if he gives me permission to go see my son now. But if you don't, I won't eat any of the dishes you've served"

"But madam.."

Annette closed her eyes. He asserted that he did not want to hear any reason.

Zeta sighed heavily, "Well, then I'll go pass this message to Mr. Egbert"

"Go away. I will wait here to accompany the madam" Micah said.

"Em"

Zeta went downstairs and came to Egbert, who was relaxing on the sofa in the living room. The man sat across his legs while reading the newspaper.

"Master"

"What's wrong? Egbert's gaze was not at all diverted from the newspaper in his hand.

"The lady refused breakfast"

Egbert immediately stopped reading.

"Mistress said she would only have breakfast if you gave her permission to see her son now"

Egbert folded the paper, no longer reading. Then he got up and wordlessly moved quickly towards the second floor. Zeta walked behind him with a feeling of uneasiness.

'Oh, I hope that Mr. Egbert is not angry with the madam'
