Vampire'S Secret Baby
|57|. Don't Eat Again!

"But it feels awkward" Egbert said.

Successfully provoke Sean's attention to stop his activities. Dipping the chicken feather into the ink box, he let it there and raised his gaze towards Egbert, "What do you mean?"

"I feel like this barmaid girl is a little familiar" Egbert said. He vividly remembered how the girl's voice seemed to have stopped in his memory five years ago. Going how a pair of black eyeballs were trembling in fear, it was exactly the same as the human girl— his little wife who ran away somewhere.

"Familiar?" Sean knitted a pair of his brows, staring at Egbert half-confusedly.

"Eum" Angguk Egbert, his black eyes momentarily lit up red with rays of seriousness as his forehead wrinkled and thought hard, "His voice and a pair of familiar black eyeballs" he said, poking closely at her lower lip, her eyes looked at Sean, "Do you think human girls have anything in common regarding voice and eyeballs?"

Sean frowned and thought. As far as he taught in class, almost all of his students had different tones of voice. But especially eyeballs, some of them are the same size and color, "For eyeballs it could be so, some of them are small eyeballs, large even have the same color. Just for form, I think it's a little different from one another" Sean explained.

Even though they both have almond eyes, Sean can still see the difference between the two. In a sense, almost no one is one hundred percent the same.

"In particular the voice, none of my students have the same voice. Each of them has a distinctive sound with one and the other" he continued.

After listening to Sean's explanation, those cold, shiny black eyes stared deep into the corner of the room. Took him drowning for a moment in the sea of his mind.

Egbert tried hard to find the point of singularity he felt. But as hard as he thought, it would only end in a stalemate.

"What's hum?" Ask Sean. After noticing Egbert who had been silent for so long in his mind, "Did you feel like you've seen the girl before?" Ask again.

Egbert shook his head, "No"

"Are you sure?" Sean looked at Egbert while raising one of his eyebrows, "Maybe it's Annette?"

"That's impossible" Egbert replied. Remembering the girl's jet-black short haircut that was as thick as ink. Obviously it was a much different color to Annette's golden-brown hair.

"Um, then it's just your feelings" Sean later said.

"Well, maybe so"

In the morning Annette was busy with the kitchen. Shouldering her golden brown hair high up and wearing an apron, she immediately went to wash her hands. After that he opened a small refrigerator that was very reyot— because it was a used item he bought at a fairly cheap price, and took the hearts of cows in the freezer section.

He soaked the beef liver in water and continued to chop onions, chili and tomatoes. Wash all the pieces and turn on the stove. After making sure the oil is hot enough, he sauteed all the ingredients and put in white rice.

The delicious aroma of rice stir-fried savory also airs. Infiltrate Aldrich's room, which had just finished bathing and was dressed. Smelling that delicious scent, Aldrich went to the kitchen.

"Darling, are you done getting ready?" Ask Annette then. Focus stirred the rice in the frying pan and turned to his son at a glance who was already dressed neatly in uniform.

Although only five years old, Annette has educated her son to be independent. As in the matter of bathing and dressing, now Aldrich can take care of it himself without needing help from him.

"Eum"

"I want to have breakfast with your cooking" said Aldrich, who was still standing watching Annette cook, "I don't want to drink my mama's blood and I don't want to eat grilled beef liver" Aldrich complained.

Hearing her son's grievances, Annette felt helpless. So far he has never given Aldrich any human food other than beef liver. It was because he was afraid that if Aldrich consumed human food, his body would not accept it.

"Alright, wait for mama at the table. Mama will prepare it for you" Annette said later. He thought there was no harm in trying.

"Eum" nod Aldrich with vigor.

After serving the rice that was fried earlier on the plate. Annette broke two eggs into a hot skillet to serve the eggs. It did not take long until the two eggs were now on both plates.

Annette took the two plates to the table.

"Let's eat!" Excite Annette spirit.

"Come on!" Aldrich has long been curious about the cuisine of his mother who is always fragrant and savory. He was sure it was delicious with just one look. Spoon a mouthful of rice and chew it.

His eyes were wide open and he kept coughing his vomit.

"Darling, what's wrong?" Annette immediately woke up from her seat with a panicked look on her face.

"My throat hurts.." Said Aldrich who was holding his throat and looked that his pair of eyes were already watering painfully.

"Don't eat anymore!" Said Annette pulling the plate out of her son's reach, "Sorry baby, you shouldn't have let you eat this" Annette patted her son's still-coughing back gently.

After his throat became quite good, Aldrich turned to his mother. He could see the pair of tender eyes covered in guilt, "It's not my fault. I asked for it myself" he said.

"Stay mama—" Annette's throat choked, it felt like she would cry at that moment. He was really afraid that something bad would happen to his son because of his cooking earlier.

"Yes.." Aldrich's little hand gently held Annette's arm, trying to calm her down, "I'm fine, no need to worry um?"

"Hiks" Annette immediately hugged the small body tightly, "Mama was really close to dying of fear earlier" he said. Her voice was still raucous, "Because if you're okay, mama can't possibly take you to the hospital.."

And he didn't know where to take his son.

A moment Aldrich was in the torment of guilt, "Next time I won't complain again, I promise!" He said, those charming big black eyes staring regretfully at the mother who looked sad for her, "I'll just eat a roasted beef liver and drink your blood as usual" He continued.

Hearing that, Annette's heart fell. He felt very grateful to have Aldrich who was very understanding and affectionate towards him. He clearly caught the look of that handsome little face full of regret and guilt, "Alright, mama hold your promise dear"

Annette tightened her arms and landed a gentle kiss on both of her sons cheeks. It made little Aldrich smile happily and feel so happy receiving loving treatment from his mother.
