Ammar arrived at the Ulufi campus shortly after Boy left the campus. There was no longer a wife waiting, and the campus now looked very quiet. The man was about to contact his wife to confirm her current whereabouts, but only realized that her phone was lowbatt.
Not finding the whereabouts of Uldi, Ammar decided to go straight home. It was possible that Ulfi had gone home first, he thought.
And sure enough, when he got home, he found Ulli in his room. However, there was something different about his wife, her gaze implying disappointment and her attitude more silence.
Even Ammar's presence in his room was not greeted with a smile by him as usual. Ammar was aware of that, only he was still unsure of the cause of Uldi's change in attitude towards him.
Is it because he was late to pick her up? But this was not the first time he was late and Uelfi did not live up to him as he is today.
Ammar decided to clean up first, after which he will invite Ulli to speak, as well as he wants to apologize for the delay.
After cleaning himself, Ammar came out of the bathroom and no longer found Ulli in his room. At the same time, there was the sound of knocking on the door by the waiter in the house who called him for dinner.
Of course, Ammar went straight out of the room, thinking that his wife had been at the dinner table. But upon arrival, his eyes did not find the figure of Ulli, his wife.
"Ammar, where's Ulfi? Your tumbens did not come together" asked Hana's mother who had been sitting opposite Rashid's father.
"Ulfi has come out first, Mom, Ammar will look for it then," replied Ammar directly walking to the back of the house.
Hearing the son-in-law's reply, Mother Hana furrowed her brows. "Did they fight?" he asked Rashid's father and the man only put his shoulder to shoulder in answer to his ignorance.
Ammar now arrived in the backyard of the house, and sure enough, there he found Ulli sitting on a swing with a glaring look ahead. I don't know what he was thinking, only this time he found Ulli behaving like that.
Because, in the past if he was angry, he would still talk even with a sharp tone, very different from now who are more silent and dreamy.
Ammar approached Ulli, even sitting on a swing next to his wife.
"Honey, I'm sorry for being late to pick you up this afternoon," he said gently as he looked at Ulli who did not turn to him at all, and did not even respond.
"Darling, are you angry? I'm sorry, honey I didn't mean to keep you waiting long" he added.
However, again Ulfi did not respond. They remained silent for quite a while. Ammar decided to reopen the sound.
"Honey, even though you are still angry, you ate first well, Mom and Dad are waiting inside," Ammar asked as he stood towards Ulli.
"I want to go back to the pesantren, Hubby," said Ulli later.
"Why? Is your college uncomfortable? Ulli shook her head in response to Ammar's question.
"My life is not calm here as long as the Boy is still wandering," said Ulli bowed.
"What's? Boy? What else has he done with you?" asked Ammar with a serious look.
"She was trying to drag me to a place while waiting in front of the campus, Hubby, hiks." Ulfi began to sob while covering her face with both palms.
Ammar hardened his jaws and clenched his hands together to hear the words of Ulfi. Which husband's heart is unharmed when he learns that his wife is being treated badly by another man? He never even pulled his wife rough, but bravely the man named Boy dragged Ulli.
"This cannot be allowed, he must be punished for all his deeds" furious Ammar was about to leave, but Ulli quickly restrained him.
"Where's Hubby going?" ask Ulfi.
"Yes to the police station, I see in front of the campus you have CCTV, it can be used as evidence" replied Ammar.
"Don't Hubby, don't. No matter how we try to imprison him, he always escapes, so it's useless, mending us who stay away," said Ulli with eyes that began to dew.
"But, Honey ...,"
"Hubby, please, give me back to the boarding school, I want to study there and live there" Ulli pleaded.
Ammar took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. He then clasped the hand of Ulfi who was still holding his hand. In his kiss the hand gently and he brought Uldi into his arms.
"Yes, Hubby," great-grandson of Ulli.
They finally went inside the house to have dinner.
"Where have you been? The food is cold waiting for you," said Hana Mother while shaking her head.
"I'm sorry, Mom, we told you a little bit" replied Ammar.
"Well, now we're eating." Hana's mother allowed her son and daughter-in-law to sit down and dinner together took place in silence, no one spoke, everything was immersed in their own thoughts, only the clanking of spoons filled the dining room.
"Mother, Father, Uelfi would like to say, by the way," said Ulfi carefully after she saw that everyone had finished their dinner.
"By the way, son," said Rashid's father.
Ulfi turned at a glance towards Ammar, and the man nodded his head in understanding what he wanted to say.
"Ulfi wants to return to the pesantren" he said slowly.
"Why?" asked Hana's mother with a sad look.
"Ulfi, Ulli ..." Ulfi turned back to Ammar because he was hesitant to express his wishes.
"Have you persuaded him, Ammar?" mother asked Hana to look at Ammar full of investigation.
"No, Ma. You see, actually Uelfi feels not calm living here, because he was always nosy by Boy, even this afternoon Boy almost dragged him somewhere," explained Ammar.
"Oh so that's why you came home first?" mother Hana asked Ulli and the young lady simply nodded.
"Yes it must be because you are late to pick him up Ammar, try to come on time, surely it will not happen," said Ibu Hana who actually blamed Ammar.
Ammar and Ulli stared at each other for a moment. Then they turned to look at Rashid's father hoping that he could give a wise answer, not blame.
"Dad will report Boy to the police right now so he doesn't bother you anymore" said Rashid's father, who was also confused about siding with his wife or son and daughter-in-law.
The man immediately took his phone and contacted his hand-held lawyer to immediately report Boy and his evidence on campus.
"Dad called a lawyer, you stay here, your mother really wishes you could stay with her longer" Rashid's father said as he looked at Ms. Hana.
Uldi bowed to his father's answer, squeezing his robe while holding back tears that seemed to want to break out of his eyes.
Ulfi understood her mother's feelings, because she felt the same. However, Boy's existence made it seem as if he had no other choice.
While Ammar who saw Ulfi can only throw a sluggish breath and hold the hand of Ulli. Although her parents-in-law blame, but she understood everything, moreover the distance of the boarding school that was not close made her understand the feelings of her mother-in-law.

The next morning, a beautiful girl was walking into the boarding school while pulling her suitcase. He walked into the office and met the headmaster who happened to be talking to Hasan's grandfather as the owner of the foundation.
"So Mr. Hasan, this morning we have two alumni who want to serve in this pesantren" he reported.
"Two? My feelings come alone, who's the only one?" the inner girl.
"What's his name?" ask Hasan's grandfather.
"Lisa Mardani and Firdaus As-Shiddiq."
