Chapter 44. Look at Jayden

"Ai, is my Daddy's request too much? You must mind yah?" lyodra asked as they were on their way home. Actually she also felt bad, but how else, that was all she could do for David to accept Aiden to be her husband.

Aiden scratched his head, but it didn't itch at all. "Of course not. I knew he was using the opportunity as best he could. So, no problem."

"Really?" Lyodra shrank in Aiden's hand with her eyes flashing comically. It still doesn't believe that Aiden will respond to David's request.

"I'll do anything so we can be together. So promise never to leave me" Aiden replied, giving a small kiss on Lyodra's forehead.

The girl gave a faint smile, pleased with Aiden's reply. "I didn't choose wrong." Lyodra was more and more spoiled, making Aiden finally smile too.

"Oh yeah, after college I wanted to see Jayden," Lyodra told her boyfriend.

Hearing another man's name, it made Aiden feel dislike, but because of Jayden, Aiden chose to give up. "You have no plans to take me?"

Lyodra widened her eyes. "Are you coming?"

"I don't want my future wife to be alone with another man" Aiden replied, beginning to show her possessive side to Lyodra. Moreover, he was reminded of Kibrit's remarks, about Lyodra's attraction to the opposite sex.

Again Aiden's answer made Lyodra fold her lips and blush. He wouldn't mind if Aiden wanted to visit his best friend.

"Alright, then you should pick me up. In addition to visiting Jayden, I also want to tell him that we're getting married."

Aiden immediately nodded his head, in his heart starting to feel impatient waiting for the full moon to arrive. At that time Lyodra will belong to him completely.

Lyodra took a long breath. "Don't make it up, he won't mess with you or me!"

"But I already know who he is, Lyo! Quickly drive him out" Jayden exclaimed with excitement.

"You're so cool. Open blankets!"

"Jay!"

Aiden touches Lyodra's shoulder, she'll budge for this. He will give Jayden time to talk to Lyodra, as he still values Jayden as a friend of his future wife.

"I'll wait outside" Aiden said.

Before Lyodra could continue her sentence, Aiden had already turned around and stepped out of the room. At that moment, Jayden was about to open the blanket, he immediately looked seriously at Lyodra.

"Don't get in touch with him anymore! He's dangerous" Jayden said, again scolding Lyodra, like the first time Lyodra wanted to go to Aiden's house.

"He's not what you'd imagine, Jay!" lyodra answered while sitting on the side of the gurney.

Jayden's eyes glared.

"He's a vampire, Lyo. You even know that, right?!"

"Yes, I know. And I decided to marry her."

This time Jayden's eyes almost jumped out of place. Lyodra's really crazy, can't a human marry a vampire?

"You're really not sane, Lyo. He is not with us. You could have been bitten and made into food. Aren't you scared?"

Lyodra shook her head quickly, making Jayden even more gaping.

"As a friend, I disagree!" cetus Jayden was firm.

"But Daddy has already approved of us, Jay. He and I loved each other, and we agreed to get married by the time the full moon arrived."

"I'm sure Uncle David doesn't know who he really is."

"And you can't tell him. I just want to be happy with him, Jay. So please don't stop me. Just this time I'm asking you, keep secrets about Aiden's true identity."

Jayden stared intently at his best friend, and he knew Lyodra was really serious about her decision. Although he was the closest person to Lyodra, he could not ask the girl to follow his orders.

"Trust me, Lyo, I'm just afraid you're okay. As long as she's not the guy, I'll feel calm."

"But Aiden is all I want."
