Chapter 48. Open Eyes!

It had been a week of time, but Aiden had yet to come to his senses as well. Though Kibrit and the Emperor had tried hard to do whatever they could, all sorts of potions were injected into Aiden's body, but they did not get any results.

However, strangely Aiden's body did not rot or disintegrate, and it made one family of vampires was astonished.

Actually, what power did Lyodra's necklace produce, to give a tremendous reaction to the figure who destroyed it.

Every day Lyodra would cry beside Aiden's bed. The shadow of the newlyweds will be destroyed just like that, after the husband experienced an unexpected event.

As it is today, after Kibrit gave the umpteenth injection to Aiden's body, Lyodra finally entered her husband's room.

A sad face with puffy eyes became his everyday look, because his cheerfulness was taken away with Aiden who was unconscious.

He stepped over with a shunt, then sat down on the chair while looking at Aiden's eyes which were always tightly closed. It feels so sad to see our loved ones on the verge of life and death.

"Aiden, when are you gonna wake up?" lyodra asked with tears that flowed back, as if it would never run out, the clear liquid was always sliding when Lyodra remembered about Aiden.

She didn't tell her family at all about her husband's situation, because she didn't want David or Margaretha to know that Aiden was a vampire.

"I miss you so much, my dear. Don't you miss me?" lyodra, grabbing Aiden's cold hand, kissed her many times hoping that the touch could be felt by her husband.

"I'm keeping my promise, Ai, no matter what happens I'll stay by your side. So wake up, you've been sleeping too long."

Silent. There was no reply, because Aiden remained unmoved, and it made Airish who peeked out from behind the window feel the same sadness. He's sorry to see Lyodra.

"Don't scare me, Aiden. I can't get through the day alone, wake up, honey ...."

Finally Lyodra was stunned, she placed her head beside Aiden's bed while sobbing. It was impossible to endure being constantly ignored like this, if he could give up half his life, perhaps he would willingly give it to Aiden.

Feelings of anger, annoyance and longing mixed into one. Lyodra did not know what fate they would face in the future, but she always kept her heart set on getting Aiden back to her side.

"You said you wanted to do anything with me, let's do it, Ai .. Don't be like this, don't leave me alone. I can't stand it!"

Lyodra's crying sound grew louder with her chest rising and falling. There was no boredom he invited Aiden to talk, even though it was only quiet that he got.

"If you won't open your eyes, then I'll go too, I'll catch up with you." Lyodra's words that sound crazy, because it's so desperate.

He didn't know that Aiden's eyelashes started to move. His originally cold hand had now turned warm in an instant.

Slowly, the eyelids opened, and the first one she saw was Lyodra who was crying beside her bed.

From that moment Lyodra continued to rub her face, so Aiden could not see the beautiful face of his wife.

He frowned as he felt a heartbeat that had turned normal, and the first word that spoke from his lips was.

"Lyodra."

Lyodra immediately stopped her crying, hearing a familiar voice in her ear.

He was silent for a moment, but the voice was no longer there, until he finally chose to raise his head, and the next second the girl found Aiden's eyelids perfectly open.

Lyodra was immediately flabbergasted.
