The Eternal War Kasarewang

The Eternal War Kasarewang
Harsa vs School Orientation Period (2)

As soon as the sun peeked out from behind the school fence, all the new disciples were gathered in the field. They lined up according to the color of the ribbon given by the seniors at the school gate. Two hundred children were divided into twenty small groups. Harsa is in the orange group. In front of him, stood a long brown haired girl up to his back. His name was clearly emblazoned from the cardboard nameplate they had to wear, Elis Samosir. Looking at her unique uniform, Harsa could not judge which SMP she came from. Without hesitation, confidently, without a second thought, Harsa invited him to a chat.

“Hai? Which SMP are you from?”

Elis turned around, realizing that he was the one being spoken to. “Hai! Haha~ you won't know, I'm from out of town.”

Elis's face is round sweet. Her skin was pale white, but her wide smile showed that she was in good health. Her eyes were beyond belief, similar to Harsa, light brown. From the way he spoke that reminded Harsa of the way Adi spoke. “I think I can trust more if you say you are from abroad.”

His pale cheeks were flushed quickly. “Hm? How do you know?”

Unknowingly Harsa's cheeks were also flushed red and her chest was pounding even firmer than before. She's so beautiful. The thought passed in Harsa's head just like that, “Sound from your speech.” Hansa stretched out his hand. Although her name is clearly emblazoned on the cardboard name tag, Harsa re-introduces herself. “Harsa. I am from Private Junior High Nusa Bangsa. Maybe I'm the only one from that Junior High.”

Elis welcomed Harsa's hand warmly. “I think I am too. I'm Elis, greetings.”

“Salam know too. Is it true that you are from abroad?”

Elis nodded. “I have lived abroad for five years, my mother also studied abroad. I think I'm also the only one from my Junior High, but I should know someone, Ah!” elis' words stopped then waved his hand. “Belasa!”

“Yo, it's been a long time.” A boy of his age, muscular, tan-skinned, and short-haired came towards them.

“Harsa, this is my friend SD time. His name is Barasa.” Elis introduced them both. “Ra, this is Harsa, we were acquainted.”

As old friends, Elis and Barasa have a lot to talk about, but fortunately they do not remove Harsa alone from their conversation. There is a good thing that Harsa is an extrovert child who never runs out of talking materials. However, before long their chat was stopped by the OSIS who immediately opened the MOS event.

After welcoming the first-graders, they read out generic MOS rules, then read out the MOS schedule. The event will be held for two full days. Starting from the briefing of the teacher, the game aims to get acquainted with each other and memorize the school map, then the last time for each extracurricular activity to display the event for first-graders. The introductory activities of various school clubs will last until the second day, then closed by the distribution of prizes for the group that won all the races at this MOS event. After that, in the next week, then they will start the actual teaching and learning activities.

Of the various kinds of events, Harsa was most waiting for a camping event in the school field. Harsa thought that such an experience would not be obtained elsewhere, because according to his knowledge, only his school implemented a MOS system like this. Maybe this is the only chance for Harsa to experience camping at school.

In any case, he found on this show, he found many friends. Especially at the time of the introduction of the school basketball club. During Junior High, Harsa was always good at playing basketball, especially because his body was much more athletic than his peers. So, when the chairman of their high school basketball club asks who wants to get on the court to try to break through their defenses, Harsa joyfully submits herself.

However athletic Harsa is, she still has trouble dealing with third and second graders who average one head on top of her. Especially considering that they had trained for a year longer than Harsa.

“Yes!!” Harsa cheered with excitement, but her voice was covered by the cheers of the audience.

“Wow, so cool!” The newly awakened Harsa, realized the praise given by the girls who were sitting on the sidelines. Now, the attention of everyone around the field was fixed. Harsa's face that had been flushed red from Tired was further burned by embarrassment. Applause was still roaring from all directions.

One of the basketball club members came to him. “Great. I'm waiting for you at the basketball club. Look out, if not come. You have talent to sharpen.” Praise him still with breath.

“Still, Brother.” Hansa replied blushed.

Returning to the orange group, Harsa is greeted by awe-inspiring views of Elis and Barasa.

“Wow, steady, Sa.” Praise the sincere Barasa. “You are athletic.”

“Hehe, thanks, thanks. Back in Junior High I joined the basketball club.”

“Iya, your movement is very tight.” Added Elis. “To the extent that I thought there was a spark coming out from under your shoes.”

Deg. At that moment Harsa was awakened. He closed his eyes, looking back inside.. The seal was still in place, but the spell writings imprinted in the ribbon were fading even further. From the sidelines of the seal, felt a lot of physis leaked. The physis flowed throughout his body, strengthening his muscles. Unknowingly, he used physis to win the small basketball game.

Harsa gulped, her euphoria gone already. Harsa's hand automatically held her stomach, where Kaiya was. Did I really make a spark? Ask Harsa to herself. There's no way I'm asking Elis, is there? Though only this morning his father asked him to be careful with his magic.

Behind all that, most especially, a bad taste filled his chest. He looked at the members of the basketball team he had just defeated. They are all ordinary people. Didn't he cheat using magic?

“Harsa, why? You all right?” elis asked, noticing that Harsa's face had turned gloomy.

“No, no why.” Directly touch Harsa. “Yok, we join the others move to see the demonstration of gardening club.” Take Harsa, follow their group to the front garden of the school.

Elis and Barasa nodded in agreement. They returned to chatting casually as usual. Without Harsa noticing, far away from them, there was someone who kept paying attention to her. Someone from the documentation committee team, who had just photographed a basketball club demonstration, noticed a spark coming out of Harsa's leg.
