Chapter 5 Attack of the zombie herd

Hundreds of zombies were getting closer to Jeremiah who was standing in the middle of the human corpses he killed. 

Teo immediately guided Alwi to run towards a building on his left. But before that, Jeremiah fired another bullet at Teo.

THE DUAR!!!

"Sister, lookout!" Shouted Alwi trying to attract Teo.

Teo swiftly dodged, but the bullet shot into his left shoulder. Although only a scratch that is not too deep, but Teo felt pain from the wound on his shoulder. 

Before Teo left with Alwi, he turned to Jeremiah who was laughing out loud because he was shot. 

In a very short time, the zombies were already ten meters behind Teo and Alwi. Teo quickly entered the building and barricaded the front door using some furniture such as tables, benches and ceramic flower vases.

"Are we safe?" Ask Alwi. 

He saw hundreds of zombies thronging the door of the building made of glass. The pressure generated by the encouragement of the zombies made the glass door more cracked and spread to the glass window beside it.

"Not yet! We gotta get to the top rooftop, come on!" Shouted Teo. They immediately looked for a way to the top floor.

THE CRUTCHES!!!

PRANGS!!!

The glass door broke, followed by the rupture of two windows beside it. The zombies rush in and go back to chasing Teo and Alwi. 

They both managed to climb the emergency stairs to the fifth floor, but the emergency exit to the rooftop was locked. 

Both of them looked panicked, this iron door was very difficult to open, moreover the zombies had started climbing the stairs from the ground floor.

"What should we do?" Alwi panicked. He immediately did the horses to be ready to shoot.

"Hold it! I'll crush the hinges!" Teo said in a panic.

He used his katana to gouge out the door hinges. However, it seems that time is getting narrower. The zombies had already climbed the emergency stairs and headed to the third floor.

"Sister! Hurry along!" Shouted Alwi. 

"Damn! Damnit damnit! Shit!" Teo complained so upset.

Unable to be gouged out, Teo grew increasingly upset and desperate. He tried to break down the door with his body many times, until finally….

THE DUAK!!!

The door opened, Teo and Alwi went straight through the door and closed it again.

Teo used a long iron rod to lock the door quickly.

"They're behind this door!" alwi shouted while helping Teo barricade the door.

So strong screams, scratches and pushes from behind the door. Teo and Alwi had to stand guard at the door to hold him back. 

"Are we going to die here, brother?!" Exclaimed Alwi while holding the door.

"Shut up and just focus on the door!" Shouted Teo slightly irritated at the repeated babbling of Alwi.

The urge became stronger, Teo whose shoulder was injured from being shot by Jeremiah felt the effect. He held back his groan, but Alwi knew it was hurt like that. 

"Do we need to go back to the Professor's place?" Ask Alwi.

"Of course we're going back there, but right now I'm thinking of a way to get there!" Shouted Teo.

He tried to find a way to escape the pursuit of the zombies.

"How to get rid of these rotten zombies, then how to get through hundreds of zombies downstairs, this is more than crazy!" Shouted Teo who was so jumbled.

"Use the rope in the corner of the building, we can make a flying fox, brother!" Alwi.

"It's too fantasy! I know in zombie movies, there must be a time when the main character uses strange ways that are found quickly and managed to run away from the zombies, but the problem is that we are both not in the movie, Alwi!" Exclaimed Teo who was very upset.

"It's the real world, if you're not careful with your hormones of curiosity, we could both end up dead!" Teo Say. Blood from the wound on his shoulder started dripping onto the floor.

"Sister? Brother's blood seemed to be inviting them more and more aggressively," Alwi thought.

"Oh, thank you. You're right, we need to get out of this building" Teo said. He began to think.

"Try to find out if there's a rope or anything we can use to get off this building?" Teo Say. 

Alwi instantly removed his handrails from the door. He immediately looked for a rope or whatever it was.

"Quick! I can't help them all like the main characters in the movie!" Shouted Teo holding the door alone.

Alwi got the rope, but short, only about ten meters. 

"Alwi can rope, but only about ten meters!" Shouted Alwi.

"Watch that rope, and wait!" Shouted Teo.

Alwi immediately tied the rope in the iron of the gondola rail that served as a glass cleaner. He looked at Teo and signaled with a nod.

"Goody!" Teo from a distance. 

He immediately ran with all his might towards Alwi and left the door.

Two meters away, the door was broken and opened. Dozens of zombies rush in and chase after Teo.

He immediately jumped while holding the rope.

"Jeronimo!" Shouted Teo who was so excited jumped from the top of the building.

However since the rope was only ten meters away, they ended up getting stuck on the second floor. Teo and Alwi immediately jumped up and ran towards the shopping mall. 

The zombies on the rooftop chase Teo and Alwi by jumping down. They are beating each other. And that gave both of them time to run away.

The two continued to run until they went back inside the shopping mall. Teo immediately barricaded the entrance with various items.

"Let's hurry!" Bring Teo.

"Hi!" Sapa Jeremiah's. 

Suddenly he appeared before the two again. Alwi immediately turned his head and installed the alert mode. He pointed an arrow at Jeremiah.

"You?!" Teo Say. He immediately grabbed the katana behind his back.

"Don't try, drop the sword, now!" Jeremiah's Order. He pointed his gun at Teo.

"Don't Brother!" Shouted Alwi.

"Don't you? Seriously? You wanna die first, boy?" Jeremiah turned to Alwi with a smile and pointed his gun at the boy's head.

"Enough! Don't involve the boy, Jeremiah," Teo said. 

He put his katana on the floor. Both of his hands were raised up.

"Alwi, put down the bow," Teo ordered in a subtle tone.

"But?" Alwi replied doubtfully.

"Do it, please," pinta Teo.

They both raised their hands and surrendered to Jeremiah.

"Good, I'm very happy to find two more humans here" Jeremiah said.

"Do you know, this world is an incredible paradise. Whoever is strong will win here. Plus, we can kill each other without fear of the law. Isn't the world perfect?" think Jeremiah.

"You've only been around one city, and you've told me this world is heaven? Don't be weird, you can die with too much confidence!" Teo Sahut.

"It's interesting, I'll try it, go to another city. Maybe I can kill them all, and be the only human living in this world. Then, I will become the new God in this fascinating world," Jeremiah thought with a laugh.

"Don't play like a child. You're too childish, Jeremiah. Remember your Karma!" Seru Teo's.

He looked at the second floor from a distance. There was Agasa standing there and holding a sniper rifle. He gave Teo a sign by nodding.

"I? The kinsman? You're so funny, Teo!" Jeremiah's laughter broke.

HAHAHAHA!!!

Teo nodded, it became a sign to shoot for Agasa. Slowly I pressed the trigger. 

PHEW!!!

One bullet went straight through Jeremiah's forehead from behind. He died instantly and fell to the floor.

"It's clear!" Shouted from far away.

"Professor?!" Shouted Alwi smiling widely at Agasa. He immediately took his bow again.

"You're taking too long!" Shouted Teo.

"Sorry, I have to prepare lunch!" Shouted Agasa again.

"Then, what are we going to do with Jeremiah's corpse, brother?" ask Alwi.

"Down on the highway, let the hungry zombies eat it. That's karma for him" Teo said. 

He and Alwi immediately dragged Jeremiah's body out of the building and placed it in the middle of the road. 

"Let's go back, we don't want to be the next zombie target, do we?" teo.

They both returned to the shopping center. Teo and Alwi meet Agasa at the rooftop.

"Who was that guy? Why would he have a gun?" Ask Agasa.

"The story is long, I have to rest for a while" said Teo. He leaned his body against the wall.

"Professor, Brother is injured in the left shoulder" said Alwi.

"really?" Ask Agasa.

"It's just a small wound, don't exaggerate it" Teo said.

"Come here, I'll treat your wounds." Agasa took the P3K box equipment he got at the office. 

Teo undressed, he finally obeyed Agasa.

"Jeremiah has killed five people in a heinous manner, it proves there are other humans besides us here, and the question is how many humans are stranded here?" Tanya Teo looked confused.

"I don't know, but for a while, we have to protect each other, at least stay alive for you and your family in the world there" Agasa thought.
