Chapter 2 The Earthopean Continent

"You mean we're currently in a parallel world?!" It was Agasa who felt surprised. He pulled the collar of the young man's shirt.

"I just got to about ten minutes ago before you, and it looks like we have to find a higher place to survive" Teo said. 

He looked far behind Agasa.

"What do you see?" Agasa asked, he turned around.

"What's that?" Ask Agasa. 

He saw several humans in dirty clothes and scarred faces heading towards the two of them while running.

"Call it a zombie! You want to die or live to ask her name?!" Shouted Teo.

He had escaped by climbing a multi-storey building using a rope.

"Come on!" Shouted Teo.

"Ba–how did you get that fast?!" I feel surprised.

He immediately rushed to snatch the hanging rope and immediately climbed up to the top. Teo helped by pulling the rope so that Agasa could quickly get to the top.

The zombie began to approach the rope and attempted to climb upwards. Agasa tried as quickly as possible not to be caught by the undead.

"Please!" Shouted Agasa stuck out his hand which was directly grabbed by Teo.

When Agasa had climbed up and entered the second floor building, Teo immediately cut the rope using the katana on his back. Seen the Zombies continue to scream to feel disappointment because the food has gone off.

"Thank you" said Agasa.

"No problem" Teo replied. 

He threw himself on the floor, sighing in thought.

"If this is all a result of the explosion of the Quantum Ark energy storm, then we're really stuck in this parallel world, right?" agasa.

"How many people do you think were thrown into this world?" Ask Agasa who was curious.

"I don't know" replied Teo.

"Then what is the fate of the real world?!" Agasa asked himself.

"I don't know" Teo replied again.

"Why is a parallel world like ours?" Ask Agasa. He feels confused.

"Oh, you better shut up. Now we're thinking how to get back to the real world like you said. I don't want to be stuck here forever" Teo said.

He turned to look at the old man who looked quite smart. Teo feels that Agasa is still in shock because he is stranded in another world. 

"Even if our world is called the real world, then what is this world? You and I are here right now. Stepping on the ground, feeling hungry and thirsty, bleeding, and even dying. Doesn't this look very real?! We're not in Zuckerberg's world of the Metaverse, we're in God's own multiverse" Teo thought.

"So, the multiverse is a real?!" Agasa said so surprised.

"We have to find a place to live, information about the city and the world. Then look for food left in this dead city, " thought Teo. He stood up and looked around. 

"I agree, but we'd better find a map of this world. I want to know the shape of the earth in this parallel world, or arguably in this multiverse," Agasa said.

He began to look around at the wrecks in the room.

"Grandpa, take a look at this" said Teo. He looked out of the room. 

"God! Is this a hidden paradise?" Agasa said so amazed and surprised.

They both saw a huge hall of space. It turned out that they were in a large shopping mall that had a seventh floor. However, the atmosphere inside the shopping mall had all been destroyed. The items in the store were also abandoned.

"I forgot we were in Jakarta. I think this is a shopping mall in Senayan number," Teo thought.

"From now on you continue to call me grandfather, please just call Professor Agasa or Agasa also can," he said.

"All right, then. My name is Teo Abraham, just call me Teo" he said.

"What should we do?" Ask Agasa.

"Find food, sharp weapons, and a map of the world" Teo explained.

He entered a food court called The Food Hall. Teo saw the tables and benches scattered and overlapping, as well as divorcing each other. 

"Professor, I'm going to go to the left, you try to go to the right" Teo said. 

Agasa continued to go to the right until he headed to the Japanese restaurant. He saw a map of the world that was plastered on the wall with such a large size. Agasa immediately lowered it. He tore the map made of canvas with a knife lying nearby.

"Finally I'll see you too, I'd better go back to Teo" Agasa said. He rolled up the map and headed back to where Teo was.

"What are you doing?" Ask Agasa who came to Teo.

"Have a few things to wear to survive" Teo replied. 

In front of it are available two bags of green shopping bags with the inscription "Save Earth" contains a variety of cooking utensils for up to two gas cylinders size three kilograms.

"Professor, we'd better go to the rooftop. I don't want to be a zombie dinner if I stay here" Teo said. 

He picked up two heavy shopping bags and lifted them with both hands. Then Professor Agasa brought two gas cylinders that were still filled with both hands.

They're heading upstairs. Since Teo has been here before, he knows the gap to get to the rooftop.

"I got a very complete map of the world" Agasa said as he climbed the stairs by lifting the two gas cylinders.

"Gosh, I'm tired." lamented Agasa who finally sat down to rest on the steps.

"The distance is still good, I think the seven-story building is not so tiring like this," thought Teo who took a break.

"I hate the theory of the quantum, parallel or multiverse world! Shit!" Agasa was so fed up with his knowledge.

Teo is building up energy again. He stood up and looked back at the old man. 

"It'll be dark soon, we'll have to rush to the top and close the entrance to the rooftop so the zombies don't get here. I don't want to be dreaming about being a zombie snack" Teo said.

"Alright, let's continue walking" said Agasa. They continued their way again to the rooftop.

Arriving on the rooftop, Teo immediately unwinded him with a drop on the dirty floor. He let out a long sigh while looking at the sky with twilight clouds that were increasingly clumping and blackening.

"It will soon rain, and it will also turn into night" complained Teo.

"I know, we should make a tent for shelter" said Agasa. He put out that world map again.

"What do you see?" Ask Teo. He glanced to his left.

"Map of the world" replied Agasa.

"Unbelievable, did you get the map right away? It's as if we're in a virtual gaming world and aided by A.I" Teo fantasized.

"Look, you will be surprised to see it" said Agasa, who did not believe after a thorough look at the map.

"What?" Ask Teo. He got up and crawled to the map. 

"Oh, ****! What's this!" Shouted Teo in disbelief.

"Earthopean?!" Teo asked himself. He saw the title of the world map.

"It seems that in this parallel world, what you call the multiverse of our world is a continental landmass that is still entirely merged into one large continent. And maybe that's what's called Earthopean," Agasa thought.

"But why are the names of places and cities the same? It's like the entire country in the world and its contents are in copy-paste on Earthopean mainland," thought Teo who was confused.

"Not in copy, but the same. Look at the land in Japan. The same shape as in our world. But here, Japan is even united with the Earthopean mainland, that's the difference," explained Agasa. 

He looked at another country. The entire map of the country's territory is the same as in the real world, but only as compacted into one region between countries, so it looks united in one large landmass. 

Suppose a country separated by the sea like England finally united with mainland Europe. 

"Then, where should we go and how?" Tanya Teo was confused.

"Create the Quantum Ark here and go back to the real world" Agasa thought.

"It took 100 years for the humans of our world to make the Quantum Ark engineering so that it could really be put into practice. And damn, it failed! Then, what do you think in this doomsday world could create that? Even to make one whole car to walk alone was already an impossible thing!" Shouted Teo feeling desperate.

"So, you think that there are no remnants of civilization in Earthopean?" Think Agasa.

"Even the bones of the local population are not there," said Teo who was upset.

JEGEERS!!!

Lightning struck and began to rumble. The sun has set in the west. Agasa rolled up the map and began assembling his tent.

"If you still have a brain, then stand up to make a tent. Because I don't want to be sane alone here" Agasa said.

"You're a bitch," complained Teo. He finally woke up and started to help Agasa.
