In the morning, Saga was excited for school. Billi came over last night and said she'd be with him at his dad's day. Of course it was welcomed with joy by Saga. Although her mother could not come because she had to work, at least she was still there to accompany her to school at the event father's day.
"Grandma, breakfast isn't ready yet, is it?" Ask Saga who approached Bu Rahmi in the kitchen. From the smell, Saga can guess if her grandmother is making her favorite omelette.
"Loh, you know, Grandma's granddaughter is ready." Bu Rahmi was surprised to see Saga was ready to be incubated this early. The little boy was already wearing a uniform, complete with his tie and belt. Saga was trained independently since childhood by Mila.
"Yes dong nek. Today Saga is playing the lead role in the musical. The piano playing too. In addition there is Om Billi who nemenin Saga. So Saga is really excited." A cheerful and feisty roar adorned the handsome face of Saga.
Hearing the babble of her son in the kitchen, Mila immediately approached. He was happy to see Saga's enthusiasm in the show later.
"Well, is there a musical drama too? Kirain grandma's just a race." Asked Bu Rahmi while looking at Saga who was currently standing behind him.
"Kan Saga has a story, then it's a show first. Out of show, new race."
"Hahaha.grandmother is getting senile as she is."
Mila who was standing not far from them smiled hearing the chatter. His sage is amazing. She's a new student, but she's been able to play the lead role in a musical drama. My own pride for Mila. Since Saga was 3 years old, the boy was already familiar with the piano. Who else if not Pink who spread his hobby to Saga.
"Grandmother at home doain Saga yes. Let Saga and Om Billi win the race."
Ms. Ramhi turned off the stove and turned her back to face Saga.
"Grandmother must be doain Saga. Without any Saga mintapun, every day grandma always pray for Saga and mama." Said Ms. Rahmi while gently rubbing the head of Saga.
"Mama will also doain for Saga to win today." Mila, who had only been watching, walked over to the two people.
"Thank you mama." Say Saga while hugging her mother.
"Sorry mom, you can't go to school. Mama has to work." Mila said with regret.
"Gak papa mah. Saga knows how, mama's busy working for Saga with grandma."
Madam shifted her eyes. His eyes began to heat up looking at the interaction between Saga and Mila. At this small age, Saga can already think wisely. Hopefully, his grandson is not forced to grow up by circumstances.
"Breakfast yuk, have already died." Ms. Rahmi melts the atmosphere. The three of them then headed to the dining table for breakfast.
While they were having breakfast, Billi came with a grim face. Mila's feeling was suddenly bad. Hopefully Billi doesn't deliver bad news.
"Om Bill." Saga with a cheerful face. "Just now, Saga finished breakfast." Saga quickly finished the food in front of him because Billi had come to pick up.
"Son Billi, have breakfast all yuk." Tawar Bu Rahmi's.
"Thank you, Billi is full." Billi rubbed her stomach. He pulled out a chair and sat right in front of Mila.
"There's a Bil problem?" Mila can see from Billi's face.
"Emmm..." Billi garuk coconut. Confused to explain how. Last night he promised to accompany Saga. But apparently, this morning the situation forced him to go to the office.
"Repile..." Call Mila.
"Saga." Call Billi while staring at the little boy who was in a hurry to finish his breakfast.
"Yes Om." Sahut Saga's.
"Saga don't be angry. It seems, Om Bil can't bring Saga to school."
The face of Saga's story suddenly turned moody. The boy lowered his head and put down his spoon and fork. Billi threw a look in the other direction. I can't bear to see Saga's disappointed face.
"Why do you want Billi?" Ask Ms. Rahmi.
"So morning I got a call from the division head. Two of my division friends were in an accident last night. They were motorbikes, so the accident together. We're doing a lot of work, so I can't leave today."
Mila gave a rough breath. Why would something out of the blue happen at the last minute like this. Fifteen minutes later Saga had to leave, the boy was also neat with a full uniform.
"School with grandma?" Bu Rahmi offers herself, unfortunately answered with a slit by Saga.
"Well, if it's the same with mom." Mila doesn't care about her job anymore. He could still find work elsewhere. To him, Saga's happiness was paramount.
"But it's your first day be_"
Mila put her index finger in her lips so Billi doesn't talk first. He didn't want Saga to turn down his offer.
Saga suddenly moved from her seat and entered the room.
Mila looked down lethargic, why could it be like this. Last night everything was well planned.
"Once again I'm sorry Mil." Billi felt guilty.
"It's not your fault Bill."
"Well, Saga doesn't have to go to school." Bu Rahmi's Proposal.
"Saga is ready? All right, we're going to school now." Mila.
"School by yourself." Sahut Saga while bowing listlessly.
Mila approached Saga and looked down in front of her.
"Mama temenin huh?"
Saga shook her head again. "Saga alone goes to school."
Mila sighed. He better leave the Saga to his liking.
"Yes, let's take mama back."
Throughout the school trip, Mila repeatedly turned to look at Saga who was next to her. The boy had been quiet since then and looked at the window.
"Are you sure you want to be alone?" Mila again confirmed when her car had stopped near the school gate.
Saga simply replied with a nod while removing her seatbelt.
"Mom can go if Saga wants to." I swear by anything, Mila can't bear to leave Saga alone on this special day. How does the child feel when he sees all his friends being accompanied while he is alone?
Saga put on her backpack and looked at her mother.
"Working mom. Saga can be alone. All this time, Saga had gotten used to it without papa. And even today, Saga can be without papa."
Mila's heart ached hearing Saga's words. His eyes were heating up, he raised his face so that the clear liquid did not seep through the corners of his eyes.
"Mah." Mah." Saga grabbed both of Mila's hands and grabbed them. "Saga dear mama."
At this point, Mila could no longer hold back her tears. The clear liquid fell even though it had been held back with all its might.
"Mama loves Saga too." Sahut Mila while hugging her only son.
After the hug came off, Saga kissed Mila's hand and got out of the car.
Mila looked at Saga's back and entered the school. And her tears broke after Saga disappeared from her sight. She always wanted to make Saga happy even without her papa. But I think it was very difficult. Sometimes, Saga still needs a father figure.
...----------------...
Saga walked limply into the school gate. As far as the eye could see, he could see his friend who was accompanied by his father. Whether he was envious, obviously he was envious. After all, he was just a child who also wanted the presence of a father figure in his life.
"Saga, where's your papa?" Tanya Gio, Saga's classmate.
"My father's working." Saga replied flatly as she continued on her way to her classroom.
"Why not on vacation? My dad's on leave. Means papa you don't love you dong." Said Gio trailing behind Saga.
Saga stopped his steps. His mind was messed up because of Gio's words. Actually what's wrong, why doesn't his dad love him never even want to see him?
"Hahaha.pity on Saga. Her father doesn't love her, doesn't want her to go to school." Ledek Baim who was standing next to Gio. They both laughed at Saga.
Rania who heard that immediately approached them. "What the hell are you guys? Ngelekin friend is a sin. I'll be aduin with my dad. That's my papa." Rania pointed at her papa who was chatting with miss Naomi.
Scared, the two rancid boys immediately ran away.
"Saga, you don't papa, do you?"
Saga shakes. "You came alone?"
Saga nodded. Rania is Saga's only friend who knows she never met her father.
"You don't feel sad. Do you know that my mom is already in heaven?"
Saga nodded.
"Papa said, I have to be a child of Sholehah so that later I can meet mama in heaven. If you want to meet your dad. You must be a child and pray hard. Who knows if God will grant you so you can meet your father."
Saga nagging. The mood is indeed smashed at this time, so to open a voice, it feels very lazy.
"Oh yes Saga, you remind me said Miss Naomi. The more you pray, the easier it will be to pray. What if now we pray the same so that you can meet your father? May the prayers of the sons of sholeh and sholehah be granted to God."
They both then compact to raise both hands.
"Oh my God, Saga wants to see you. Prayers for Saga O Allah. Aamiin's."
"Aamiin's." Rania.
