Chapter 36

Azizah who was about to eat immediately stopped her movements. She was very surprised by what her husband said. He did not understand what Irwansyah said.

"Laboratory results show that in the food we provide Rela and mama contains laxative substances. This can make people easy to water big. As a result Rela and mama have diarrhea," explained Irwansyah with clenched hands. 

During this time Irwansyah never crossed his mind or mind, if Azizah would do something like this. He thought it was Aunt Rose who had made this crime.

"That's not me! I never had any thoughts of committing such a crime or any other crime" Azizah denied.

"You mean, if anyone else has put laxatives in food and drink owned by Rela and mama. While the medicine is yours," Irwansyah said with annoyance.

"That's my medicine. But why did you accuse me? While I feel like I never did that" Azizah said firmly.

"You said it was yours. This proves that you could be one of the suspects. Many things support the possibility that you are the culprit. The food was cooked by you. Then, you also prepared everything" replied Irwansyah who was now standing beside the bed where Azizah was sitting on it.

Azizah's heart felt very sick, more pain compared to her body which was currently completely weak due to the stomach ulcer disease that was relapsing. She shed her tears as she stared at her husband.

"Abang has hurt my heart, by giving false accusations. I used to buy that medicine because it's been two weeks since I haven't had a bowel movement. So, I also bought drugs to launch defecation to the pharmacy. After that, my digestion improved again," Azizah explained.

"Why don't you talk to me about having trouble defecating, first?" ask Irwansyah.

"I don't want to add to the burden of your mind with my problems. In addition, Brother is also busy taking care of Oliv," Azizah replied.

"I hope you didn't lie with the words just now. I do not want if in my house there are people who have bad intentions towards their own family," said Irwansyah while looking intently at Azizah.

Since that incident both Azizah and Irwansyah have often kept quiet. The two became less interacted even though Irwansyah also prepared food and medicine for his second wife. Even in one room they were silent to each other.

Azizah was heartbroken to be accused by her husband while Irwansyah became suspicious of Azizah because of the laxative's discovery.

"Well, how's Azizah doing now?" ask Rela when Irwansyah to the kitchen to get drinking water.

"It's better" replied Irwansyah as she walked towards the dispenser.

"Why not take it to the doctor? Is it just a stomach ulcer, nothing else?" ask Rela who is now staring at her husband.

"Yes. He insisted that he would not be taken to the doctor," Irwansyah replied as she poured water on the glass.

Rela was also surprised when her husband said that his honey was also sick. He initially thought Azizah was sick with diarrhea like him, but Irwansyah said that the second wife was sick with stomach ulcers.

"I make porridge and pepes fish. If, do not want to porridge, there is rice, I make it a little soft," said Rela while putting a bowl of porridge and a pepes of fish wrapped in banana leaves on the plate.

"Thank you, honey. Don't be too tired. Remember you are also newly healed and old pregnant again," concluded Irwansyah while rubbing Rela's head with affection.

Irwansyah knew that his first wife had a good heart and a high sense of care for others. Hence, he would be very disappointed in Azizah, if she had really done that to Rela.

"Bang, I want to visit your father's house later after school," Azizah said before she left for work.

"Yes. Let Oliv be picked up by Rela," Irwansyah replied.

"Let's come with me to my father's house" Azizah said feeling unwell.

Irwansyah glanced at Azizah. His young wife lately often rationed his words.

"No. Oliv will go straight home. I don't want Rela and mama to keep worrying about Oliv" Irwansyah said.

Azizah now could not be as free as before, if taking Oliv or Ukasyah for a walk together with him. Likewise, if you invite the two children to visit their parents' homes. All this happened after the accident. Mama Fatonah never allowed her two grandchildren to go with her.

Aunt Rose immediately dismantled the room looking for money belonging to Irwansyah. He did this to make up for the debt because of the fraud case first. He had asked Baharuddin for help and he gave only 200 million. He took the money belonging to his cousin without his knowledge of 100 million through the bank using a power of attorney that has the signature of Mama Fatonah. He's still less than 150 million. He was determined to steal Irwansyah's money in the store because at home they did not save large amounts of money.

"Where the hell is he keeping the money?" Aunt Rose spoke alone as she opened drawers on Irwansyah's desk, which was stacked with a list of groceries or proof of purchase payments she had with her business partner.

Aunt Rose's eyes were fixed on a blank check. He saw it and then checked it. How happy he was when he saw there were traces of signatures belonging to Irwansyah. Then, he took a pencil and imitated Irwansyah's signature by clarifying the signature trail.

When he finished, he left immediately. He filled in the nominal on the check paper for 150 million.

"Sorry, Irwan. Aunt asked for your money without saying. Because auntie doesn't want to be in jail" said Aunt Rose monologue when she left Irwansyah's shop.
