A few days had passed after the incident where Nira eavesdropped in Arka's study. Now the two of them silence each other without saying hello or even just throwing a smile never.
And at this time, Nira who had just entered the house walked in a hurry to not notice that in front of him there was a person standing upright was blocking him.
"Aww,,," cried Nira as her forehead hit the chest of the field belonging to Arka. "Ish, why are you standing in the street?" nira grumbled while rubbing her forehead.
Arka did not answer, he even squatted the contents of Nira's bag that fell scattered due to hit him earlier.
Arka's hand grabbed something she also knew what it was. "What does this mean?" ask Arka, showing her the thing she found to Nira.
"Give me back!" pinta Nira while trying to take it from her husband's hand, but Arka raised her hand so that Nira was not up to take it.
"Explain me!" jolt Arka with a flash of anger in his eyes and make Nira a little afraid, because only this time he saw this angry Arka.
"What needs to be explained?" asked Nira while tidying up her bag. "You must know what that is, right?" ask Nira back and walk quickly away from Arka so that she is not interrogated more by her husband.
Nira arrived in the room and was about to close the door, but Arka's burly hand held her.
"Oh my God, Arka! What else do you want?" asked Nira while throwing her breath rough, she was tired if she had to argue.
Arka threw the pregnancy-preventing pill right into Nira's chest and fell to the floor. "How many times have you drunk it?" asked Arka as her hand closed the door hard.
"From the first time we did it." Nira answered by lying, because in fact she had not drunk at all, only today she bought at the pharmacy.
Nira smiled cynically at her husband who was looking at her sharply. "Why did I do it?" ask Nira. "Have you forgotten or pretended to forget?" said Nira with quivering lips restraining the cry.
"I don't know what you mean." replied Arka, a look of confusion on her face.
"Isn't this your will?" tanya Nira, she looked at Arka with teary eyes. "Ok, if you forget, I'll remind you!"
Nira breathed deeply. "Did you remember I asked you once, how about I get pregnant? And what answer did you give? If I get pregnant, you will leave me." explained Nira with a trembling voice and tears that she had held since then finally shed.
"Do you still want an explanation? And can you still ask me what I did it for?" ask Nira with a stir. Take out all his uneg-unegs that he himself has. "Am I wrong to want to keep this marriage, for your sake in order not to leave me, I have to take this pregnancy-preventing pill!" lirih Nira's.
As for Arka, she was just silent. His voice seemed to be stuck in his throat after remembering it. He was also silent when his wife pushed him and beat him in the chest. He let his wife vent all her anger. Until he felt his wife had calmed down a bit, he pulled Nira's body into his arms, held her tightly and let her cry in his arms. At least with a hug, it can warm Nira's heart.
"Speak, Arka! Am I wrong?" lirih Nira's. Arka did not answer, she just tightened her embrace. He did not think that the answer he gave was just a joke to harass his wife, even misunderstood and hurt her heart.
"Sorry." one word came out of Arka's mouth while showering a kiss on Nira's head.
Nira glanced up, looking at her husband. He did not believe it, as Arka Wiratama lightly apologized to him. Nira loosened her embrace and wiped away the rest of her tears.
Ahh, why can I just talk about defending this marriage? Arka must have secretly laughed at me. You're a fool, Nira. Inner Nira cursed herself.
