But then David Montgomery did it himself because he had a chance. The tender involving the woman turned out to be winnable by Allison. And from there he had a chance to tease her.
David Montgomery wanted to prove what Xavier had to say, even though Xavier never asked David to do it.
"I asked her out, you're right she didn't respond to me. Though I had already put my skills out on two lunches and a covert business dinner, I even sent her tulips to take her to dinner. You're right, he's not moved at all." But then Xavier also didn't mind when he heard the result, Xavier thought it proved something.
"I told you. You're not gonna make it with an Allison Austin. You may try, I'll set you free
"You know what he said?"
"What?"
"She said she already had a boyfriend. You guys are already?"
No, I told you I didn't have the courage, even though I liked it, if Mr. Lyold Austin knew maybe he'd kill me enough to touch his daughter... But I didn't think she said she had a boyfriend. And he's loyal to his lover. Did he really say that?"
"He already thinks you're his brother's girlfriend. You're great, what you do until he gives up on you first, unconditionally."
That was what made Xavier moved to give them a chance to progress. Accept Allison's date solicitation, and their relationship becomes a close friend. Although he still did not dare to acknowledge Allison, no, until he obtained Lyold Austin's permission.
But now he really messed up when tonight their conversation was overheard by Allison.

"Tomorrow I'll talk to him. Tonight he's still mad, you go after him and he won't hear you. Tomorrow I go to his office myself, I'll explain to him. You don't worry, if he doesn't want to see you, he'll have to meet me to get the money."
"Damn! I'm meeting with Sir Austin next week. If he hears from Allison's side I'm sure he'll kill me."
"You better try calling her and sending her a message. But we'll fix it tomorrow morning. Okay, don't worry I'll explain all this. He loves you he'll listen." David Montgomery tried to calm his friend down.
"Thank you Dav, ..."
"I'm going to his apartment. She must be crying because of me. Thank you Dav."
"Try not to force it too much. You know women, they need to calm themselves down before they can listen to anyone else."
David leaves and Xavier checks Allison in her apartment. He tried to call Allison but it was possible that Allison would not take her call at all or read her message.
Allison was still struck by the fact that Xavier was not offended by David teasing her. The viewpoints of men and women are different. He felt he could trust Xavier but again he was let down.
The night ended in a long cry of disappointment until she was exhausted. He saw a series of Xavier messages, but he didn't want to read them.
"Al's? You okay?" The former crying last night was not an easy thing to cover up, and it caused William to be astonished to see Allison moody.
"No, I'm not okay." The mood is once again at its lowest level now.
"What's wrong? Tell me a story."
And now Allison tells what happened to ease the burden of her heart on William.
"If he comes here I'll beat him up. He really needs to be taught a lesson. Take it easy I won't let him fuck with you. Just try and he'll dare to come here." William's cousin was his defense, he wouldn't let his cousin's sister be underestimated. From the story he heard from his cousin's sister, Xavier did deserve to be beaten.
Allison still can't concentrate on working because of badmood. He opened his message box there was a long explanation Xavier there. Half of it he felt disbelief in everything Xavier wrote.
He ignored and tried to focus on the screen before him again. Several times Xavier called him just ignoring him.
"Miss, there's a Mr. David Montgomery to see you." David came to clear up their conversation last night. While Allison was lazy to hear any more excuses.
"Tell him I'm in a long meeting until the afternoon." The assistant delivered to the front office.
"Sorry sir, Miss Allison is having an internal meeting that can't be delayed." And the front office conveys what the assistant said.
But David Montgomery already knew how to answer that outright rejection.
"Tell your boss if he doesn't see me in 20 minutes. First stage payment kupending. The choice whether he wants to see me or not. I only need 30 minutes to talk."
