The power of Devid

In a room surrounded by glass windows, David stood looking at Devid's face in front of him. The man accidentally meets Devid in the room because he already knows where Devid lived all along. Devid looks calm seeing David in front of him. He did not feel at all a burden even though he was clearly just caught lying.

"David, how are you? Oh yeah, since when can you walk and talk? Looks like we need to throw a party to celebrate your recovery" said Devid, pouring a drink into a glass. He poured 1 bottle of the same drink into two glasses and sipped one of them first. After that Devid walked up to David to give him the other glass

"drink. I don't put poison in it."

David received the drink and began to gulp it slowly. The man placed his glass on a table nearby.

"What's your purpose in doing all this?" ask David without further ado.

"My destination?" Devid pointed to himself. "My goal is to succeed. I'm doing all this so that our business can grow even more."

"For business?" David still doesn't understand Devid's goals. In his eyes Devid did all this just because he wanted to make his life ruined someday.

"Yes. Did you know that Logan and I secretly built a hospital. A hospital that will be visited by everyone in the world. Unfortunately before the hospital was 100% complete, you showed up and found out where I was. But it's not all that much of a problem. I still have a backup plan," Devid replied with a smile.

"Why didn't you tell me about your business in the first place? Aren't we brothers? I can help you if it's your goal for our family business."

Devid laughs softly. "Know you?" Devid shook his head slowly. "No. I also have to make sure you're either completely disabled or not. Once the hospital is over, I'll appear as a healthy David. I will tell the world that thanks to the treatment of the chosen doctors in my hospital, I can recover like this. And you, you're going back to being David's shadow. You deserve to be behind the scenes. Only I have the right to play David."

"No! I don't want to be your shadow anymore, Devid," David protested.

"don't want? But what a pity, your refusal won't change anything. Actually seeing the situation you are now I was shocked. You should still be a mute disabled man. But, it's not that hard. I'll make you feel it later. How it feels to be unable to talk and unable to walk. That's a very easy thing for me" Devid said with a soft laugh.

"I'm gonna stop you from doing all that. I will announce my success in public before your hospital is finished!" threaten David replace.

"How is it? David, you're a smart man, I admit. But you're not a strong man. Opposing me won't be easy for you!"

"I don't have much time to talk nonsense like this." David turned his body and stepped towards the door.

"Oh yeah, one more. You don't have to bother looking for Albert. Because now he is sleeping in a very comfortable room," said Devid with a sly smile.

David clenched his hand. The man stepped quickly closer to the position Devid was in.

"What did you do to Albert? Don't hurt him. The matter that's going on between us has nothing to do with Albert!" shouted David loudly.

"Ckckk. You're right, David. The problems between us have nothing to do with Albert. But, without him you can't do anything. Isn't your power on Albert?" Devid slowly approached David. "Without him you're just a weak man! It doesn't even make a difference when you're disabled or not!"

David was still trying to hold back his emotions. He did not want to fight with Devid because his goal was to meet Devid just to talk well. Although it was all he hoped he could not get. David twisted his body to leave Devid there. Suddenly Devid grabbed David by the shoulder and held him back from stepping.

"On Shazia. She's a beautiful and tough woman. A woman like her deserves to be my wife, David. Only I can protect her from danger. So, you better just back off and come back to be my shadow downstairs. Let me take your place as Shazia's husband."

This time David was no longer able to temper his emotions. He clenched his hand and immediately turned around. One punch he landed on Devid's face. It also made Devid shocked. All this time he had never seen David's bold attitude like that. It can be said that David is a cowardly and loving man who does not want to hurt others.

"You hit me?" ledek Devid with a smile.

"I didn't just dare to hit you. But I can kill you too! One thing you should remember at any time. You've been dead a long time. Only my name is alive. If you're gonna show me where you are, you're gonna deal with the cops. I am the real David and will forever be the David everyone knows. From now on, be prepared to be my shadow because that's the position you deserve, Devid!"

David stepped away after being content to convey his heart. Devid just silently looked at David's back that was getting away. At least David's words are true. And so Devid never showed up. He doesn't want to get into trouble with the police. Logan is always his hands and feet if he wants to do an action.

David kept walking with an emotional face. In fact, this moment he himself did not know what to do. He knows exactly how much power Devid has. Maybe in one hand he will crumble and become ashes scattered in the air.

"What should I do? I'm sure, sooner or later Devid will take action. And he easily got rid of me. When I'm gone, everyone will know they're with Devid. Or, they never wake up and live happily together with Devid for good?"
