It’S Me Again
Chapter 18's

A few days had passed since Annisa and Michael met in the cafe and Reynold was still undecided in his heart. Meanwhile, Ivy continues to feel unwell and eventually goes to the doctor for a check-up. After a while, Ivy returned home with a pale face.

“Ivy, what happened? What did the doctor say?" Ask Ivy's mom worried.

Ivy lowered her head and cried, “I'm pregnant, but Michael left me and didn't want to take responsibility for this baby. He didn't even answer my phone."

Hearing that, Ivy's mother felt sad and did not know what to say. He hugged Ivy and tried to calm her down, “Take it easy, my son. We'll find a way out. We're gonna figure out what we can do."

However, Ivy could not calm down. His heart was full of sadness and confusion. He doesn't know what else to do. He felt lost and did not know where to go.

Meanwhile, Annisa also felt sad. She doesn't know what to do after Michael confesses that Ivy lied about her pregnancy. He felt deceived and annoyed at having trusted Ivy just like that.

Reynold tried to calm Annisa down, but she herself also felt indecisive in her heart. She loves Annisa, but she also doesn't want to make her unhappy. She knows that Annisa still loves Michael and she doesn't want to be a hindrance to their happiness.

Everyone is sad and confused. They don't know what else to do. The atmosphere was full of sadness and uncertainty.

Reynold reflected on everything that happened and felt increasingly confident about his decision. He lets Annisa and Michael down together, as Reynold feels that Annisa is happy with Michael and she doesn't want to be a barrier to Annisa's happiness.

After breaking her heart, Reynold felt that she should tell Annisa. However, he felt that he was unable to do it directly. Therefore, Reynold decided to leave a letter to Annisa.

"The one I love, Anna,

I wrote this letter because I found it hard to say it in person. I wanted to tell you that I've decided to let you go with Michael. I know that you guys are happy together and I don't want to be a barrier to your happiness.

I feel so lucky to know you, Annisa. We have spent a lot of time together and I will always remember those memories. I will always keep those memories in my heart.

I know that I have to go now. But before that, I want you to know that I will always remember you and keep you in my heart. I wish you happiness always, Annisa.

Reynolds"

Reynold clenched the letter tightly and placed it on Annisa's desk in her apartment. He looked around sadly, recalling all the sweet memories they had shared together. However, Reynold knows that he must leave now, and let Annisa continue her life with Michael.

With a heavy feeling, Reynold left Annisa's apartment and left without saying goodbye. She knew that her decision would lead to grief and loss, but she was sure that Annisa would be happy with Michael, and that was enough for her.

Michael is on his way to the hospital after learning that Ivy had complications during her pregnancy. She is very worried and feels guilty for having left her just like that and does not know that Ivy is now actually pregnant with her child. While passing through the intersection, a car passed at high speed and hit the car he was riding in. Michael was thrown out of the car and fell hard on the asphalt.

Several people who saw the incident immediately called an ambulance and took him to a nearby hospital. But unfortunately, the injury he suffered was very serious and he had to undergo surgery immediately.

In the operating room, doctors said that Michael's condition was critical and that he likely would not survive. No one knew Michael's identity because part of Michael's face was visibly damaged, all of his personal belongings were found burned at the scene of the collision.

"I'm sorry, Ivy. I'm sorry, Annisa. I'm sorry I hurt you and left you. I'm sorry,” Michael said with a gasp of breath.

Michael was immediately taken into the ER room without any family, friends or anyone who knew what Michael was going through.

Ivy felt the pain in his stomach getting worse. He felt increasingly dark in his mind when Michael did not come too. What happened to Michael? Is she okay?

After a while, a doctor came to check on Ivy. After examining his condition, the doctor looked at Ivy seriously.

"Ivy, you're having complications. We need to get surgery done, or you can lose your baby." Said the doctor.

Ivy felt a feeling of fear that was trailing all over her body. She doesn't want to lose her baby.

"What about Michael? Has he come?" Ivy asked in a stammering voice.

"No word from him, Ivy." Said the doctor.

Ivy felt her heart break into pieces. He felt alone and no one cared about him.

"Please have my surgery, doctor." Ivy said in a weak voice.

A few hours later, the doctor came out of the operating room and called the Ivy family.

"I'm sorry, but we can't save baby Ivy." Speak to the doctor in a soft voice.

Everyone in the room felt devastated hearing it. Ivy cries on her bed, she feels her world crumbling.

He felt a void in his heart that could not be filled. She lost her baby and Michael wasn't next to her.

Annisa arrived at her apartment. He looked at the letter left behind by Reynold and his heart was pounding. Without hesitation, Annisa opened the letter and read it with a trembling heart.

Tears began to flood his face as he read the contents of the letter. Annisa felt a deep sense of sadness, as she also felt the same feelings towards Reynolds. However, Annisa still does not know with her own feelings, Annisa is worried about her choice whether to choose Reynold or Michael.

With this letter Annisa realizes Reynolds true feelings, Reynolds is eager to see Annisa happy, even though it means having to let go of Annisa from her.

Annisa pondered all the sweet memories they had shared together. She feels moved by the love and care Reynolds gives her, though she has not been able to reciprocate her feelings in the same way.

Annisa knew that she had to contact Reynold, but the call made by Annisa only switched to the voice of the operator.

“I beg you, Reynold. Don't leave me, let me explain everything.”
