It’S Me Again
Chapter 11's

Reynold sat down next to Annisa's bed and looked at her attentively. "Annisa, what are you thinking?" ask Reynold.

Annisa was silent for a moment before finally saying in a soft voice, "I feel down, Reynold. I feel sad and lonely, and I don't know how to get out of this feeling."

Reynold embraced Annisa and said, "I know how you feel, Annisa. I felt the same way when we broke up. But I also know that you are strong and can get through these difficult times."

Annisa nodded, shedding tears. He felt grateful to have Reynolds by his side in such a difficult time.

Every day, Reynolds and Annisa are getting closer. The two of them often spend time together, talking about their work, hobbies, and personal life. Reynold has always supported Annisa in every way, and Annisa feels comfortable and safe with Reynold.

However, even though Reynolds seemed to love Annisa very much, Annisa still felt hesitant to open her heart. He didn't want to get hurt again like he did before. Although she likes Reynolds presence and feels comfortable with him, she is still unsure if she is ready to fall in love again.

Meanwhile, Reynold was also worried. He was afraid Annisa did not feel the same way as him, and he did not want to encourage her to take a further step if she was not prepared. However, whenever she was near Annisa, her heart was warm and she felt that she wanted to spend time with Annisa forever.

One night, Annisa and Reynold sit together on the porch of Annisa's apartment. The atmosphere became silent when Annisa finally decided to ask the thing that always stuck in her heart.

"Reynold, may I ask you something?" ask Annisa slowly.

"Yes, of course. What do you want to ask?" reply Reynold with a smile.

Annisa looked at Reynold with courage, "Why did you break off our relationship unilaterally?"

Reynold paused for a moment before finally replying hesitantly, "Annisa, there's actually something I've been hiding from you all along."

Annisa was curious and worried about what Reynold would reveal. He waited patiently, but his heart was pounding.

"I used to have a serious illness" Reynolds said slowly.

Annisa was surprised and did not expect that that was the reason. "What's the disease, Reynold?" ask Annisa worried.

"A disease that almost killed myself, Annisa. I know how hard it is to live with this condition. I didn't want to be a burden on you or your family, so I decided to end our relationship" Reynold said.

Annisa paused for a moment and pondered Reynold's words. He doesn't know what to respond to. She understands that Reynolds loves her and tries to protect her from unwanted things.

"Reynold, I understand your reasons. But that doesn't mean I'm not ready to deal with bad things with you. I love you and will always support you" Annisa said firmly.

She attempts to contact Annisa, but she discovers that Annisa has changed all her personal information that Reynolds knows. He was unable to find his phone number, address, or even his social media accounts. Reynold felt desperate and frustrated, as he did not know how to reunite with Annisa.

"Annisa, I want to apologize for what happened between us. I know I was wrong and I'm so sorry. I miss you and I want to try and right my wrongs."

Annisa felt a little surprised by Reynold's words but was still hesitant with her feelings. "I don't know, Reynold. I still have doubts about our relationship. I still love Michael, and I don't know if I'm ready to start a new relationship."

Reynold pondered for a moment, then said, "I understand, Annisa. But I want you to know that I'm ready to wait. I will do anything to prove that I am truly sorry and want to correct that mistake. I wish you could give me a second chance."

Annisa pondered for a moment, she felt that there was something different about Reynolds this time. He saw sincerity and regret in his eyes. "I'll think about your offer, Reynold. But I can't promise anything now. I still have to improve myself and decide what's best for me."

Reynold nodded and said, "I understand. I will respect your decision. But if one day you feel ready, I'll always wait here."

One day, Annisa was relaxing in her apartment when she turned on the television and saw a shocking news story. The news was about Michael's marriage to a famous model in New York named Ivy. Annisa felt shocked and sad. Although he had tried to forget Michael, but it turned out that his heart still continued to be attached to him.

The news featured pictures of Michael and Ivy's wedding. They got married in a beautiful chapel in downtown New York. The chapel is decorated with fresh flowers and sparkling crystal lamps. The invited guests looked very happy and cheered as Michael and Ivy took their wedding vows.

Annisa feels sad and contemplates her decision not to accept Reynolds offer to improve their relationship. On one hand, he still felt adrift to Michael. However, on the other hand, she also felt that Reynold had tried to right the wrongs and wanted to re-establish a relationship.

After pondering over everything, Annisa decided to give Reynold a chance. He picked up the phone and dialed Reynold's number. After a few tones, Reynold finally answered the call.

"Reynold, I want to talk to you" Annisa said in a soft voice.

"Yes, Annisa. What's up?" ask Reynold carefully.

"I know I still have feelings for Michael, but I also know you've tried to right your wrongs. So, I want to give you a chance to restart our relationship" Annisa said honestly.

Reynold paused for a moment before finally replying, "Thank you, Annisa. I'm so grateful and promise I won't repeat the same mistake again."

Annisa hangs up the phone, no matter what she thinks, whether it's a spontaneous act she's made to shift her feelings towards Michael or indeed she wants to try her relationship again with Reynolds.

On the other hand, Reynold smiled broadly at what Annisa had said. “I promise I won't let you down again, Annisa.” Reynolds said in his heart.
