He was back at dinner, sitting in his place staring at each person. That night he had decided, and as if he knew of some important news even Chad had come home for dinner together.

"It's been a long time since I've seen our families sitting together like this, it feels like something good is about to happen" Joyi said between meals.

No one replied but they agreed to it, he himself believed this was the good thing he would say.

"That's good, it might have something to do with me" he said.

All eyes were suddenly on her, Kyra put down her cutlery. Raising your head to return those gazes one by one added with a smile.

"I want to say thank you for treating me so well" he said.

"Kyra... Everything's fine, right?" asked Alisya who suddenly felt anxious.

"Thank God, we are happy to hear it" said Joyi.

"Congratulations" Chad continued.

"Thank you" Kyra replied with a smile.

But the smile did not last long, in one second the smile was lost in replaced with a sad face that tried to be covered.

"I've thought about this carefully and I've made up my mind, I'm going back to the Hermes residence" he said.

"What's? ta-but why? you can stay here as long as you want" Joyi asked in shock.

"This is not my home, Chad is my cousin but still I'm just a guest here" he replied, staring at Chad.

"If you want I can buy you a house" Chad said seriously.

Until the car entered the Hermes residence through the gate, Ryu parked the car right in front of the main door.

"Come on" asked Violet gently to Kyra.

They stepped inside, gathered in the living room with a light snack that accompanied a glass of hot tea.

Kyra sat right in front of Hakan, making a smile on the young man's face even more. Especially when Kyra raised her gaze to look at Hakan and a sweet smile floated on her pretty face, making Hakan unable to control his feelings.

The event began later, not forgetting Jack expressed his joy in welcoming the Hakan family who will soon be part of his family as well.

Reaching the peak of the event Hakan and Kyra stand facing each other to wrap the engagement ring around each other's ring fingers, as the process progressed boisterous applause ushered the two couples into a deeper relationship.

Jokes and laughter mark the happiness that everyone should enjoy, unfortunately Kyra's heart does not feel it. Somehow there is a guilt that says that all this is just a compromise, he is not really happy despite getting the perfect young man.

Finished swapping the Hakan family ring in herbal medicine for Jack's signature fancy dish, a compliment was thrown that made Jack almost head over.

The simple party that was attended only by the family ended late at night, the family farewelled Hakan home by thanking him for a satisfying banquet.

"Tomorrow after my work is done I will see you soon, I hope you don't mind" Hakan said.

"What the fuck? why is it that after a part of me is yours you're acting so formally?" kyra Oolok.

With a small smile Hakan whispered.

"Our family is watching."

Almost Kyra laughed out loud, lucky soon she lowered her head while covering her mouth with the back of her hand.

"Alright, I will wait for your arrival" he replied.

Hakan smiles and says goodbye as his family waits, Kyra's hand carries him out of the gate and out of sight.

It felt quite tired even though there was not much he did, lethargicly he went to the room to change clothes.

"May I come in?" violet asked as she peeked out from behind the opening of the door from earlier.

"Come in" Kyra replied as she removed the earrings from her ears.

Violet walked in and sat on the bed facing Kyra, watching her daughter for a moment.

"Mom saw you guys earlier, it looks like you know each other well enough" he said.

"Actually we met several times outside, the opportunity we used to chat" he replied.

"That's great, I see you guys are a great fit. You also look comfortable with her, but....why don't you see the usual thing in showing lovers?" ask Violet.

Kyra is silent, of course because she does not love Hakan so what Violet expects she will not see.

"I choose to compromise with a happy comfortable life, sometimes love does not provide happiness as we expect" he said.

It was heartbreaking to hear that remark from the girl who had failed in one relationship, therefore Violet did not ask for anything more.

"We can use this to store potions, you know these things are made of earth" he said.

Tianna just smiled before then he went to another room, passing through the corridor he entered into one of the rooms. The candlelight was the only source of illumination, making the room appear quite dark but not making it difficult for Tianna to see.

He was sitting on the bed where someone was lying there, his eyes intensely watching just to see how he was.
