Great Farmers With Systems
PH 7 Gardens that Failed Harvesting

In the afternoon Seno checked his garden. When his gaze focused on his garden, someone patted him on the shoulder. Seno turned her body. Behind him now stood a middle-aged man.

“Eh Mr. Joko.” Seno.

“It's me. I was passing by your vegetable garden. Looks like next week the vegetables in your garden will be harvested. This garden of yours also looks like it will harvest soon too. What about me harvesting all that. Take it easy I will give you a good price.” Joko.

Joko is a vegetable middleman in Seno village. He usually took vegetables from the farmer's garden here and brought them to the city. So, no wonder if now he came to Seno to ask to sell vegetables in his garden.

“Eh already want to harvest apparently there.”

Seno has not had time to see the vegetable garden of his late parents. The garden has half an acre. Usually once the harvest his parents get money up to thirty million.

Although it looks a lot, but it's divided into three months. So a month on average the garden earns ten million. If deducted from the salaries of two farmers whose parents hired and other costs, the garden only made a profit of six million.

“Do you want to sell it to me?” Ask Joko.

“What is the price that Pak Joko would like to give?”

“Everything I bought for twenty million. I think that is the price for the harvest in your garden.”

Seno frowned hearing Joko's words. “Mana can be that. That's too cheap. Not because I just managed my parents' garden, Mr. Joko can just make the price as cheap as that.” Seno did not accept.

That was Joko's intention. Seno who has just managed a garden owned by her parents does not have much experience in this field. So, he intends to buy vegetables from the Seno garden at a low price.

Joko is the only vegetable middleman in the village. So, if not to him, Seno will not be able to sell the vegetable. Joko believes Seno will accept this offer. If not immediately sell it, surely the vegetables will wither and rot after harvesting.

“Alright I'll raise a little. Twenty-five million. That is the highest price I can give. Don't ask for more.” Joko said as she folded her hands in front of her chest.

“How can it be sir. The vegetables there are healthy and there are no pests. So, the harvest must be good. Usually my parents get more than thirty million harvests. Vegetable prices are also starting to rise. So the price is definitely higher than usual.”

“The price you give is still very low. I'm not going to sell it to you if you give me that price.”

“You know what the price is.” Said Joko while pointing her index finger towards Seno.

“I have been selling vegetables for a long time. So who knows better about the price of vegetables than I do in this village? There aren't. You are just a yesterday afternoon kid, your experience is not as much as mine.”

“That price is the best price I can give you. Just accept. If you refuse it, then you will not get anyone who wants to buy all your vegetables.”

“If Mr. Joko buys it for less than thirty million, then I still won't sell it. I'll look for other middlemen who will buy my vegetables at a normal price. If necessary, I will also come to the next village to go to the middleman there.”

Hearing Seno's words, Joko's anger immediately peaked. “Oh how dare you reject me. You even want to bring others into my territory. If you do, I swear you'll suffer a crop failure. Remember it well.”

After saying so, Joko left there without waiting for a response from Seno. He's very angry at the moment. How dare a child yesterday afternoon like Seno to reject it like that. If Seno does not want to sell his crops to Joko, then the man will teach a lesson.

In this way, Seno will understand not to disturb the anger of a Joko Susanto. Dissident children like Seno should indeed be taught a lesson.

This morning Seno was quite surprised when he got a call from one of the farmers who worked in his garden. He got word that their vegetables were being ruined by people. Seno went to his garden.

When Seno arrived, he was immediately treated to a view of vegetables in his damaged garden. It made Seno put on a cold face, no smile on his face. This vegetable is ready for harvest next week. If the crops fail like this, Seno suffers losses of tens of millions.

All the vegetables that were there were mowed down. The leaves are scattered here and there. No vegetable can be saved. The vegetables look like they are mowed using a lawn mower. There are people who intentionally do this.

Immediately Seno immediately thought that Joko was the culprit. Seno recalled how the man had sworn her to fail the harvest. Now the next day, the vegetables in his garden were broken like this. If not Joko who else?

Although Seno knew who did it, he could not report it to the police. What evidence will he give to the police? There aren't. What is, if Seno reports Joko to the police, he is the one who is accused of defamation.

During this time when returning home, Seno hears rumors that Joko is a cruel person. He had not mentioned the rumors before. It seems that rumors are not always a lie. Just look at what Joko did to him.

Just because he did not want to sell his vegetables to the man, the garden owned by Seno who was ready to harvest was mercilessly damaged. Joko seemed to not care that what he did was a big loss for others.

“Mas Seno we don't know what happened. At dawn when we arrived, the garden was like this.” Said one of the farmers.

“Yes I know it's not your fault. Please clean up all this mess, sir. All these damaged vegetables, you can collect to become animal feed.” Seno knew that his workers kept cows at home. So, rather than just being thrown away, it's better to be animal feed.

“Well Mas.” The farmer answered by looking at Seno. Seno could see the anxiety radiated in the eyes of the farmer.

Seno knew what the farmer's view meant. He would have wanted to ask about the salary to Seno, but not too bold to ask.

The salary system for the farmer in his garden is the payment of the salary of each harvest. So, they only received their salary for three months of work after the harvest was successful.

Seno's garden is now damaged. This is no longer a poor crop. But it really failed the harvest. There is no vegetable that can be sold from Seno's garden. The farmer was worried about his salary.

“After you've cleared up all this, come home. I'll give you your salary.” Sensee said in the end.

Seno could hear the two workers breathing a sigh of relief now. Both then carry out the tasks that Seno gave. Collect all the broken vegetables into one.

Despite the failure of the harvest, Seno still had to pay their salaries. Fortunately, his parents lost their savings. Seno's brothers have handed over the money to Seno as capital to manage the garden. Seno can use the money.

The salary for three months for the two workers in his garden was six million rupiah. That means they get one million every month. It's not too little for them. This is because they only work for two hours to water the vegetables every day.

After that they are free to do anything. Only when planting and harvesting time arrive, their work is more and more.

Now Seno does not know should be flanked this one garden. If Seno planted this garden, it would not guarantee that Joko would not damage it again. The loss is quite big now.

“It looks like I can't decide all this alone. I'm going to ask Nita and Rena to come home this weekend. I have to do a family meeting with my two sisters.”

After all, there were still the rights of his two younger siblings in this garden. So, they should know about the incident this time. After that they decided together about the future of this garden.
