PH 157 Regrets Roy

“Sorry General, We have not received any response from them. We have tried many times to contact but the results are the same.” replied one of the communication operators who were there.

“Then what about the others? Beta, Delta, and Ghama? Have they responded?” ask Roy.

In this mission, the thirty-five-strong Garuda Team was divided into five teams. Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Ghama teams each have five members. While the rest became a reserve team in this mission.

Alpha team served as the executor, they will later hand over Seno's two wives and hold Seno so as not to fight. Then, the other three teams were in charge of combing the area around the Seno house with a radius of five hundred meters, with the Seno house as the center.

They are in charge of guarding in case any citizens are awakened in due to the commotion they will make. As much as possible Roy wants the mission this time not to be smelled by the public.

The remaining two men then got out of the truck. The cold air immediately hit the two as it came out from inside the truck. They don't hear any sound.

Roy directs the flashlight, which is bright enough, which he carries, to see the situation around. What Roy wants to see is the footprints of those soldiers. They will leave footprints.

Roy wants to follow their footprints to find out where the missing soldiers are. In the end Roy found some footprints there. Without further ado, Roy follows one of the footprints.

Roy felt strange. All those footprints disappeared near the bushes. He did not see them running towards the forest or heading in the other direction. This is pretty strange according to Roy.

Moreover, there were many animal footprints around the bushes. However, Roy ruled out the possibility of his members being attacked by animals. From the footprints they left, Roy could guess that the animals that wander around here are small animals.

With such a size, it was clear the animals would not harm its members. So, what makes those footprints disappear here?

“Hey, what did you find?” roy asked the only soldier left.

However, when he turned his body, Roy did not find the whereabouts of the soldier. It's very strange according to Roy. There was no way that person would just disappear.

No matter how fast the man ran, Roy would be able to find him. Moreover, he would cause a commotion when doing that.

Roy heard nothing. The atmosphere around here remained silent and there was no commotion whatsoever.

Then suddenly Roy remembered Eko's words during a meeting a few days ago. Eko reminded that what they are dealing with is not an ordinary farmer. All they faced was the farmer who had been selling the magic vegetables all along.

Whether he planted it himself or got it from someone else, they still couldn't spare him. One Garuda Team will not be enough to fight it, they need a company of fully armed soldiers to be able to carry out the mission properly.

Now, Roy has felt for himself the truth of Eko's words. Now he can guess that Team Garuda, a team he believes can carry out this mission well, has fallen in the hands of the opponent.

Whether they're alive or not, Roy doesn't know. He was defeated by a farmer.

All Roy has in mind right now is running back to the communications truck. He needs to tell all this to his colleagues.

Unfortunately, when Roy had just run a few steps, a black shadow lunged at him. Roy could no longer move and make a sound. He's under arrest now.

Roy now truly regrets being arrogant and not listening to Eko's advice. His greed for office made Roy have to accept all this.

Roy is not sure if after this he will die or just be detained. Roy hopes his military colleagues will do something. Whatever it is, Roy hopes they take the right decision, not like he is wrong in making a decision.
