The Second Wife
The Returned Flavor

Ms. Rahma and Mr. Adi got out of the car as soon as they got to the hospital parking lot. Rahma's mother, who was worried about Salma's condition, ran to her daughter's treatment room. Mr. Adi's words about the accident that occurred was deliberate made him very worried about the safety of his daughter. When she arrived at the door of the Salma treatment room, Rahma stopped to catch her breath before going inside. After feeling calm, he opened the door and went inside.

But how surprised he was when he saw the scenery in front of him. Pak Adi who just followed him also gasped. How not the two saw Salma and Revelation falling asleep facing each other on the gurney. Although both of them were only asleep and did not do anything that violated the norm but it was enough to make the two middle-aged people surprised.

Bu Rahma moved to wake up the Revelation, but was immediately prevented by Mr. Adi by holding Rahma's body and shaking his head slowly as the middle-aged woman stared at him. Slowly he pulled Rahma's hand out of the treatment room.

"Why are you preventing me?"

"Let them Ma, after all they do nothing but just sleep" said Mr. Adi lightly.

"But mas...how are they not married...how will people say later if someone sees it?" ma Rahma's protest.

Pak Adi smiled faintly at Rahma's mother who protested against her. This is what he likes about the woman who had captivated him a long time ago. Always trying to keep his honor.

"You take it easy, Ma. tomorrow I will tell Revelation to marry Salma as soon as she gets out of here" said Mr. Adi.

Ms. Rahma glared at the words of Mr. Adi. How could he possibly let Salma get married so soon with Revelation after finding out that Desi did not approve of the two and had planned to harm her daughter. He could not imagine what the woman would do if he knew Salma was his daughter.

"Are you out of your mind already? how can they get married while your wife doesn't approve of even planning to harm my daughter! do you think this is a fantasy world until everything can match what you want?" exclaim mom Rahma frustrated.

If in the past he could retreat and abandon his love so that Pak Adi did not separate from his family then now he must take his daughter Salma away to save his life. For him dealing with the family of Pak Adi and bu Desi will not bring happiness to his daughter Salma but instead misery or even loss of life. Twice he almost lost Salma. And he won't let it happen again.

With a feeling of coaxing, Rahma left Pak Adi and walked towards the toilet. In the toilet he again thought what he should do in order to take Salma away from Revelation and his family without making Salma suffer too much. Madam Rahma breathed heavily. Verily, he loves Revelation as a good man who fits Salma perfectly. But the man's complicated family and his devious mother make Rahma's mother have to act to protect her daughter from getting hurt.

While Mr. Adi who followed Ms. Rahma faithfully waited for the woman to come out of the toilet. In his mind he had guessed that Rahma ma'am would return to do the things he once did when he chose to separate from Adi sir. When he saw Rahma's mother coming out of the toilet he immediately intercepted her.

"What are you going to do Rahma?" tanya Pak Adi walked following Rahma's steps.

"Don't tell me if you're going to separate the two of them." she continued, pulling Rahma's hand to stop the woman from continuing her steps.

Ms. Rahma is still silent and does not want to answer Mr. Adi's question. Until Mr. Adi pulled Rahma's hand which made the woman immediately fall in his arms. A moment both of them were fixated in the sudden silence created. The heartbeats of the two are interconnected after a long time. His voice can be heard by both. It still feels the same.

The face of Rahma's mother is now blushing. She did not expect to return to the feeling she thought she would no longer feel after her husband's departure for good. Ah no! can't! it can't be missed! there was something more important than his current feelings that he had to think about. His daughter! yes the life of his daughter will always be in danger if it comes to Revelation and also his family.

Soon Rahma's mother released herself from Adi's pack and the half-run woman went straight to Salma's treatment room. Upon arriving there, it appears that Revelation has awakened and is already sitting on a chair beside Salma's gurney. Salma was still sleeping.

"Ehem... son of Revelation.. Why don't you rest at home? didn't you just go home?" ask Rahma's mom.

"Sorry ma'am.I do not feel calm leaving Salma.." said the Revelation.

"Then let me take your place. Now you rest!" said Ms. Rahma.

The revelation agreed and moved to the sofa and laid her body there. It didn't take long for the man to fall back asleep. Actually, he woke up because he felt uncomfortable with the sleeping position next to Salma. Not because the gurney used is narrow but located beside Salma makes him feel uncomfortable because it restrains his desire as a normal man when side by side with the woman he loves.

While Mr. Adi who woke up after the departure of Rahma chose to wait and sit on a bench outside the treatment room. In his heart the man was still digesting what had just happened to him as well as Rahma's mother. Does he still have the same feelings as those stored in the heart of Mr Adi? if true could there still be a chance for them to get back together?

With mixed feelings the middle-aged man tried to close his eyes. He leaned his body on the back of the bench he was sitting in trying to find a comfortable position for him to rest. Mom Rahma inside looked at her daughter's peaceful face in her sleep.

"I'm sorry Salma's mother. Maybe this mother's decision will make you hurt again.but I don't want to lose you dear.." said Rahma while stroking her daughter's face gently.

"Why is your destiny always this dear. Can't you live quietly and happily with the person you love? o Allah... Is it wrong that I complain to You now?" murmured, Rahma mumbled without anyone to hear her.

Early morning.The sound of azan woke Rahma from her sleep. It turned out that last night he fell asleep while bowing his head beside Salma. After stretching his muscles for a moment, Rahma came out of the Salma treatment room to pray at the hospital mosque. When he opened the door, it was seen by Adi, who was asleep in the front bench of the Salma treatment room. There was a sense of pity seeing the middle-aged man curling coldly in there.

Slowly, Rahma came to Adi who was sleeping. Carefully at the touch of Adi's face so that the man does not realize what he is doing. Madam Rahma sighed softly. Somehow the feeling he had been trying to get rid of for years now again gnawed at his heart. Frankly, he doesn't like it. There was a side in her heart that wanted to keep her late husband as the only man in her heart. But his feelings for Mr. Adi who is now starting to come back make him become worried.

By holding back the tightness that was suddenly present in his heart, Rahma got up and walked away from Adi to the mushola. Without him realizing if from earlier Adi sir had woken up and found out what the woman did to him. Pak Adi's lips also showed a happy smile. It turned out that his lady also still had the same feelings as him.

"I'll solve my problem with Desi, then I'll chase you back Ma.." Mr. Adi's mind while looking at Rahma's back that is getting away.

Inside his treatment room Salma also began to wake up. He was surprised to find no Revelation beside him. He was anxiously searching for the existence of Revelation with his eyes. His heart was immediately relieved when he saw the man he loved was asleep on the sofa. He smiled, remembering that he had slept with the man. His face flushed again as he recalled how close he had been to Revelation. He even imagined that they would be officially married.

Without realizing it, the Revelation has also been awakened and has approached it. The man looked smiling as he looked at the dreamy Salma with a blushing face.

"What are you thinking about hem?" the whisper is soft in Salma's ear.

The surprised Salma turned her face away and her lips accidentally touched the fleeting lips of Revelation.

"Mas.." muttered Salma softly while covering her mouth with both hands.

Revelation drew slowly the hand of Salma that covered her beautiful lips and began to bring her face closer to Salma. His breath was already hunting as he gently again kissed Salma's lips. The girl looks widened her eyes got such treatment from Revelation. The eyes of Revelation are already foggy. But it seems that the man is holding back his desire not to act further. He does not want to damage the woman he loves let alone still in a state of injury.

"Sorry.." he said sincerely while rubbing the tip of Salma's lips.

The girl could only nod slowly. For he was almost consumed with the treatment of Revelation.
