May I Call You, Mother?

In front of the gate, Jaila ruffled her waist. His eyes were narrow, forcefully glaring as if he wanted to get out of his petals.

Pfftts!

Saka almost spit out to see the appearance of his stepmother's face. Ck! What a ridiculous sight.

"Why are you laughing, Rancid Boy?" his screeches.

"Why indeed? Mouth my own mouth, I don't borrow much less rent someone else's mouth." Saka said indifferently.

Hearing that, Jaila was wrathful.

"Basic rubbish! It's good you disappeared why go home? I warn you once again, the one who will be engaged to Alisha Caraka is my son, RADEN HIRAWAN! Never mind ruining tonight's show or I'll kill you, Trash!" Jaila said with emotion. Her veins stood out on the neck, while Saka responded to it all casually, with no emotion coming out making Jaila quite astonished.

"Why aren't you angry?" he asked in surprise when he saw Saka remained silent and calm, even occasionally scraping his ears with his little finger.

"Why should I be angry? I am happy with the union of traitors!" Saka clucked and spat afterwards. Blatantly showing indifference.

"You ...." Jaila charged at Saka with trembling hands full of anger. His eyes turned red, his mouth was muttering without a single word coming out.

"Ck, move! I'm going to sleep!" Without waiting for an answer from Jaila, Saka passed away.

"YOU SHOULDN'T COME TONIGHT OR I'LL KILL YOU, MOTHERFUCKER!" jaila shouted full of emotions that could be heard by many people. Some workers even stopped their jobs to see what was going on.

While Saka just waltzed casually while waving his hands indifferently.

"Young Master!" Entering his yard, Saka was greeted with happy screeches from Bi Sinta. Her teary eyes glazed over. Dark circles, indicating that he does not have enough rest.

"Bi Sinta, why is your face so haggard? Are you lacking rest?" saka asked gently, grabbing the hands of the middle-aged woman he loved so much.

"How can I rest if Young Master doesn't come home even until night?"

Saka smelled a smile. "I'm sorry, Bi! Saka had already made Bi Sinta worried. But Saka's fine, really!"

"Aibi is happy that Tuan Muda is okay," said Bi Sinta while wiping away her tears of joy from seeing Saka who is not lacking anything. "Tonight is so beautiful, how about we go for a walk, Young Master?" continued.

Saka chuckled at the meaning of the speech from Bi Sinta. "It's too cold tonight, Bi! How about we make a campfire in the backyard and grill the meat? Saka has a very good monster meat."

Bi Sinta seemed to look at Saka deeply, trying to see the hidden feelings of her Young Master, but she only saw an enthusiastic and impatient look at the meat roasting plan. There is absolutely no hurt or angry spotlight considering tonight is the engagement of someone she once loved.

"Alright, Auntie will prepare the ingredients. It's best for Young Master to clean up immediately." Bi Sinta finally resigned. Whatever he'll do as long as his Young Master doesn't slump for too long.

Within fifteen minutes, Saka had finished cleaning himself up. Using only black training and a white T-shirt lined with a black jacket, Saka looks charming. Although only 17 years old, after experiencing changes in body level, Saka's body proportions look like an adult man, with a height of 183 cm and a weight of 73 kg, not to forget the six boxes printed behind the thin white shirt, Saka like a model that will do the catwalk.

"Young Master, where did Young Master get this kind of clothes from?" asked Bi Sinta in surprise.

"I found it" replied Saka briefly. He immediately approached and piled up the dry wood that would be made campfire.

"Finded him?" Bi Sinta was astonished. "This outfit is so weird, Young Master!"

Saka chuckles. "Alright, Bi! What matters is that I'm getting good-looking, right?" Saka plays both eyebrows with narcissism.

Bi Sinta laughed. He decided not to pry any further about the strangeness he had felt since his Young Master was mumbling. Don't we all have secrets? Bi Sinta was already happy to see Saka was fine.

"Young Master is indeed handsome, kind, not arrogant, and genius," praised Bi Sinta who made Saka wrong.

"Don't praise me too highly, Bi! I'm afraid that falling will hurt a lot."

Both giggle. Although only two people, but the warmth seemed to make Saka feel enough. He no longer needed someone who was just a stopover.

After piling up all the wood, preparing the herbs and bamboo slats, Saka started the fire with his divine dragon fire so as not to die when exposed to the wind. He was very adept at controlling the heat level of the fire so that the flame of the campfire would look ordinary, only it could not die except the will of Saka himself.

Bi Sinta who was carrying the rest of the firewood, was glued with her mouth gaping and the firewood that had slipped from her hands was scattered underneath.

"Ba-ba-how can bis-can?" ask him with a stammer. The look in his eyes displayed a variety of mixed emotions, between happy, surprised, moved, and strange.

Saka smiled. He approached Bi Sinta, took the scattered wood, flanked it in the left armpit, while holding Bi Sinta to sit in front of the fireplace.

"Young Master!" Bi Sinta's voice tone shook. His old eyes seemed to condense looking at Saka as if asking for an explanation, as Saka nodded, Bi Sinta's cry broke out. The loving woman grabs Saka into her arms, kissing the top of her head affectionately which makes Saka's feelings warm up. Having held the title of being an orphan from birth, Saka had forgotten when the last time anyone hugged her was so warm and affectionate.

"Mother, may I call you Mother?" whispered Saka who made Bi Sinta's cry even louder.

"May, may, you mother's child from a long time ago until now, never changed!"

Saka smiled, returning the embrace of the servant who had always been a mother figure to her.

Long enough the two dissolved in the warmth before then Bi Sinta unraveled the embrace. The old woman looked at Saka fixedly, rubbing Saka's cheeks affectionately, stroking her hair which made Saka close her eyes.

"Mr Mud-"

"Call me Saka, am I not your son?" cut Saka.

"Saka, thank you for holding on and coming back for me."

Saka's eyes condensed. He vowed to always protect Bi Sinta with his life.

"Mother, thank you!" whisik Saka lirih's. Almost unheard of except by himself.
