11. Contract

After that, I stayed home for a few weeks. But before that I managed to sell some of the items I obtained from the Wolf Hellguard to the Raiders guild. The shopkeeper in the Raiders guild was shocked by what I brought. Since they had never seen this item before (that meant they had no idea about the Hellguard Wolf ). Wellh, even though they didn't know what kind of monster this was, they dared to buy it at the price of millions per item. They believed that this was a high rank item. Whatever it is, the important thing is that I get the money. I only sold a few, because it would be a problem if I sold thousands of these items.

The spirit ball means the ball contains the spirit in it. This is one way hunters can rise in rank. By contracting with the spirit that is in possession. By making a contract, we can have the skills that the spirit we contract (like the spirit gave the skill to the contract maker ). But we can't just make contracts with spirits. If the spirit refuses to make a contract, then we cannot do anything. But if we still force it, it is likely that we will die from the explosion of which is the great spirit that wants to be contracted. The Spirit will choose a contract maker who is stronger than the spirit during life or a person he likes or a person who has great potential (so there used to be a skill rich hunter skill, but udh is extinct because humans are crazy about technology. This will be in the upcoming chapter ). Jdi basically likes his spirit to make contracts with whom, but when the contract maker is stronger, then the spirit has no choice but to accept. After the spirit gives the skill, then they will go to the top (heaven /hell ).
