Noel In Danger! (Noel's Arc)

“Protect king Tokae.!” Shouted the main war commander of the Rodo royal forces.

“Don't call yourself a true adventurer if you can't protect the King.!” shouted the guild leader adventurer.

“Best banquet, best magic, and best healer.!” shouted the head of the alchemist guild.

Noel only smiled at the frightened face shown by his enemies, like a helpless caterpillar waiting to be stepped on.

“Emperor's Eyes” Noel said while using the aura of the king of monsters.

But, “Nyuuuttt..” suddenly Noel's head felt very unbearable pain like being hit with a hundred hammers.

He immediately knelt down while holding his head and cried out in pain until finally, fresh blood flowed from his two eyes.

“A-what happened? Uhuk..” Noel's gaze began to fade and saw all the king's troops walking slowly closer to him.

He was reminded of the healing pill given by Leon earlier, Noel immediately swallowed 2 pills at once.

“Bruk..” Noel was now lying on the ground, the pill seemed to not work at all, instead making his head even more painful and the blood flowing more and more so that his mouth also let out blood.

Noel did have the same strength as Leon, but, the mana he possessed was not the same and it caused a degeneration of his physical strength in exchange for a lack of mana while using his strength.

The higher the level of strength, the more mana would be drained, and after using his strength since he was in the mixed blood continent, Noel had yet to make any recovery at all.

“A-I. can not..” finally Noel lost consciousness and fainted.

Seeing that, the king of Tokae took this opportunity to arrest Noel for later interrogation or even torture.

Then, he was taken to the isolation room inside the alchemist guild building because there was a room that negated magic energy.

In other words, the room was used as a prison to interrogate people who were considered to threaten the safety of the kingdom.

On Leon's side…

** Re: Warning\, Noel's vitals are weakening and he's now in a room I can't reach!

“Pfffff..... You said what just now?”  Leon spouted the warm tea he just wanted to drink.

Leon immediately sets up a teleportation portal to save Noel, but the System stops his intentions because, if Leon leaves the continent of mixed blood, the, the magic he uses to protect Leonite's kingdom will also disappear and allow the enemy's attack to take back Leon's power.

Understanding the situation, Leon sends Arthas a message through inter-dimensional telepathy that can only be heard by the two of them.

Leon finally ordered Arthas to keep an eye on Noel's condition so as not to be killed because it would be very dangerous for his home continent if such a force changed hands.

Arthas immediately carries out Leon's orders by sneaking into the isolation room, thanks to Leon's ring of artifacts, the effect of the room does not work on Arthas and allows him to keep using magic.

On Noel's side..

30 Minutes later, Noel regained consciousness because of the lack of magical activity in his body after entering the isolation room which allowed him to stop the degeneration of his body.

This time Noel really became what he considered to his enemies, namely a helpless caterpillar and just resignedly waiting to be stepped on.

Noel did not answer his question and again received 3 punches right in his heart.

“You're really loyal to your employer huh? Then, I will play a little with you” said Mun Yett who then took an instrument of torture, namely stunan.

“Bzzzzz…. Bzzzzz…. Bzzzzzzz...” Noel shouted as loudly as the device touched his skin and electrocuted him.

Arthas, who saw the scene, wanted to kill Mun Yett and take Noel out of the room, but, on the orders of Leon, told him to keep an eye on him, he did nothing at last.

“Hmm, then, I'll give you a surprise.!” Mun Yett took a long object that looked like an electric cable and wrapped the cable around Noel's body.

Until finally, “Cetarrrrr...” the sound of electric current generated by the cable sounds like a lightning bolt, but, because this insulation room is soundproof, from the outside will not sound anything.

Until Noel looks like he almost lost consciousness again, Arthas starts walking closer to save him.

Because the main material to make the chain was the magic core of a level 6 monster and then it was turned into iron forged with pure magic.

To change the shape of the magic core itself alone required 20 people with level 7 strength that were done for one week non-stop.

Therefore, it is impossible with his condition now Noel can release the bond from his hands and feet..

The bewildered Arthas finally decided to assume this situation was already threatening Noel's life and immediately came out of the shadows.

“Mr Noel, do you need help?” ask Arthas.

“Still need you ask that?” answer Noel with a tinge.

Arthas immediately cut the big chain like cutting butter, “Claang.. Claaang..” and now Noel immediately out of the isolation room while being held by Arthas.

The thing that Noel experienced because of the knowledge he had about magic was very lacking, even though he was created from magic energy, so, so, he really was like a person new to this world with very minimal information.

What's more, Noel does not have a system like the one owned by Leon who can tell his own condition so that he can not guess what the rest he has, he said, and finally there was a degeneration of the physical body due to the use of magic that exceeded his mana capacity.

“Master, it looks like you have degenerated as a result of using too much magic that exceeds your capacity” Arthas said as he walked over to Noel.

“Body regeneration?” noel asked, but Arthas instead gave a surprised facial expression.

“It is a condition where the magic you use will damage muscle tissue to organs in the body in lieu of magic energy that has been used up in order to keep using your magic” Arthas explained Noel's question earlier.

“Incuts?” ask Noel who still does not understand.

“In short, your body will be damaged if it imposes using magic without regard to the rest of magic energy” replied Arthas.

“And because you had time to enter the isolation room earlier, magic that is active in your body will automatically stop and stop damage to your body and allow to recover magic energy slowly” continued Arthas.

“Aaaahhh, too much trouble..! I had absolutely no idea of it” grumbled Noel as he reached into his pockets.

He was aware that many of his luggage had already been taken by the royal people, perhaps some had already been lost.

Now, he only wishes Arthas help to return to safety while he restores his condition.

Shortly when they arrived at the outer gate of the alchemist guild building, it turned out that there were already hundreds of people guarding against them being able to escape but they were still not aware of the presence of Noel and Arthas there.

“Ah, why do I have to be this sorry? Uh, but... Arthas, can you take care of them?” ask Noel.

Raising his eyebrows, Arthas said “Absolutely you still want to continue that?”.

Arthas asked so because seeing the condition of Noel who was already helpless, if he really wanted to continue his fight, Arthas himself felt he would not be able to withstand the entire attack from the Rodo royal army.

After thinking for a moment, Noel abandoned his intentions and told Arthas to get him out of here as quickly as possible.

“I understand.!” and Arthas took Noel to hide behind the shadows with him by giving a little magic energy to Noel to be able to enter into the shadow dimension and return to the infinite valley.
