***River in the Skull Forest***

Peng Xiao Ran smiled in satisfaction seeing Yang Ruo Li kneeling and trembling before him. Peng Xiao Ran thought it was just a coincidence that Yang Ruo Li could avoid his whip and not feel suspicious at all.

"Basic ugly! Your clothes look old too! " scoffs Peng Xiao Ran.

"I found this outfit in the Skull Forest and it's still worth wearing," yang Ruo Li said in a small voice and his hands tightly grasped the small bottle while stealing a glance towards Peng Xiao Ran.

Peng Xiao Ran gave a disdainful look to Yang Ruo Li. Only a foolish and useless girl like Yang Ruo Li, would be willing to wear the ancient clothes picked up from the Skull Forest. 

Peng Xiao Ran knew all this time Huo Rong gave clothes made of the same cloth to all members of the Yang Family to Yang Ruo Li. Although Yang Ruo Li was treated arbitrarily within the Yang Family, but her outer appearance should not be inferior to the Yang Family because after all Yang Ruo Li was the first miss of the Yang Family and was still the fiance of Fu Jiu Yun.

"What is in your hand?" ask Peng Xiao Ran.

Although Yang Ruo Li was already kneeling before him, Peng Xiao Ran did not want to let Yang Ruo Li off just like that. What else did Yang Ruo Li look to hide something in his hand.

"Mom.it's nothing, Miss Xiao Ran!" yang Ruo Li stammered.

"Give me the thing in your hand! If not, I'll kill you!" threaten Peng Xiao Ran while drawing out his sword.

"Don't, Miss Xiao Ran! Don't kill me!" yang Ruo Li shouted.

"Miss Xiao Ran! He was the future son-in-law of Noble Fu Chen. It would be a big deal if miss killed him," said one of Peng Xiao Ran's bodyguards.

"I'm not scared! After all he died in the Skull Forest and no one saw me kill him!" said Peng Xiao Ran with glittering eyes emitting his round determination to kill Yang Ruo Li.

"Who will die in the Skull Forest, still uncertain!" said Yang Ruo Li's heart.

"I gave this beauty potion to you. Don't kill me!" yang Ruo Li said as he handed the small bottle inside his hand to Peng Xiao Ran.

"Beauty banquet? Where'd you get it?" peng Xiao Ran asked in a tone of disbelief.

"I found an ancient recipe for a beauty potion inside the clothes I found earlier and tried to concoct it. Earlier I had put on a bit of this potion on my left face," Yang Ruo Li replied as he pointed at the black spot on his left face.

Peng Xiao Ran admitted in his little heart that the black spot on Yang Ruo Li's left face was fading a little of its color. Then Peng Xiao Ran carefully observed again the clothes that Yang Ruo Li was wearing. The clothes were so ancient and had never been seen worn by the people of Shang Ri La City all this time that Peng Xiao Ran started to believe Yang Ruo Li's words. 

Peng Xiao Ran's face was full of blackheads and also his skin color was not pure white so this beauty potion was very eye-catching.

"This meal is mine now!" said Peng Xiao Ran as he snatched the small bottle from Yang Ruo Li's hand.

A faint glint of thin smile appeared on the corner of Yang Ruo Li's lips as his plan went perfectly, though, while Peng Xiao Ran and his two personal bodyguards did not see a faint smile on Yang Ruo Li's face because it only appeared in the blink of an eye.

Meanwhile a man who was not far from where Yang Ruo Li was, was, seeing clearly the faint smile on the corner of Yang Ruo Li's lips so curious as to what the ugly-faced girl would do.

The man placed his index finger in front of his lips so that his two trusted subordinates stopped their footsteps and pecked in place. The eyes of the two of them following the eyes of his master were observing towards Yang Ruo Li secretly.

They were Li Zhe Liang and his two trusted subordinates, Lu Jing and Feng Teng. Originally Li Zhe Liang was going to have Lu Jing approach the two girls who were by the river to ask if they saw the black-robed girl and a white tiger, but the faint fleeting smile on Yang Ruo Li's face caught Li Zhe Liang's attention.

Li Zhe Liang was not a person who would interfere with other people's affairs, but this time he wanted to see what Yang Ruo Li would do to Peng Xiao Ran and his two personal bodyguards.

Li Zhe Liang hinted that Yang Ruo Li was pretending to be frightened in front of Peng Xiao Ran so as to provoke his curiosity.

"This beauty banquet is yours now. I go first," Yang Ruo Li said as he stood up and wanted to run away leaving Peng Xiao Ran.

"Stop!" shouted Peng Xiao Ran.

The two personal bodyguards of Peng Xiao Ran immediately blocked in front of Yang Ruo Li.

"Why did you set a trap in the river?" ask Peng Xiao Ran.

"The trap was to catch a rainbow-tailed snowfish, which could make a beauty potion perfect. I originally wanted to heal my left face, but since this beauty potion I have already given to Miss Xiao Ran, I don't need the rainbow-tailed snowfish anymore" Yang Ruo Li replied at length.

"Bas on the ugly! You can't leave before you make it perfect!" said Peng Xiao Ran.

"Okay, Miss Xiao Ran! But it will take a long time to catch rainbow-tailed snowfish" said Yang Ruo Li.

Even though Yang Ruo Li had set a trap and sprinkled his concoction powder in the river, it would take a long time for the rainbow-tailed snowfish to enter the trap.  It could possibly be days for Yang Ruo Li to have to wait by the river.

Yang Ruo Li deliberately wanted to use Peng Xiao Ran to get a rainbow-tailed snowfish and of course Peng Xiao Ran did not realize he was being used by Yang Ruo Li.

"You two went into the river to catch a rainbow-tailed snowfish!" peng Xiao Ran's orders to his two personal bodyguards.

"Well, Miss Xiao Ran!" answer the two personal guards at the same time.

Rainbow-tailed snowfish live in the deepest part so that the cold air can penetrate the bones. Most people would freeze to death before arriving at the deepest part.

Although the two personal bodyguards had already reached the fourth level of cultivation, but in an attempt to catch this rainbow-tailed snowfish left them exhausted and half-dead cold. They were both attacked by other poisonous fish and injured.

In the end both of Peng Xiao Ran's personal bodyguards managed to catch two rainbow-tailed snowfish and came out of the river. 

"Miss Xiao Ran! It's a rainbow-tailed snowfish" the two bodyguards said as they handed the two fish tails into Peng Xiao Ran's hands.

The two personal bodyguards sat on a rock near the riverbank to rest. The wounds all over their bodies both felt very painful.

"The guard must be exhausted. Let's drink some water!" yang Ruo Li said while giving two bowls made of leaves and filled with water.

The two exhausted personal guards immediately gulped down the water given by Yang Ruo Li. The water was warm and could reduce the coldness all over their bodies.

"You again!" said both guards simultaneously.

"Master bodyguards can add to it there. I deliberately boiled the water," Yang Ruo Li said.

The two bodyguards rushed towards the furnace filled with hot water and drank it.

"Drink a lot! The poison is specific to the two of you," Yang Ruo Li's heart said.

"Hey Ugly! Hurry up and concoct beauty potions!" shouted Peng Xiao Ran impatiently.

"Well, Miss Xiao Ran!" yang Ruo Li replied obediently. 

Yang Ruo Li took the two rainbow-tailed snowfish from Peng Xiao Ran's hand and began to concoct it painstakingly, while Peng Xiao Ran watched him closely.

"This ugly guy must have mastered how to make beauty potions so that later he can make new potions to treat his ugly face. I won't let that happen!" peng Xiao Ran's heart.

One evil plan came perfectly in Peng Xiao Ran's mind. After Yang Ruo Li managed to concoct a beauty potion for him, then he would kill Yang Ruo Li.

A while later Yang Ruo Li gave a small bottle containing beauty potions to Peng Xiao Ran.

Peng Xiao Ran held the small bottle with a wide smile, but there was a hint of worry in his heart.

"Rainbow-tailed snow fish are poisonous fish. You put it on your face!" perinrah Peng Xiao Ran's.

Yang Ruo Li stuffed his index finger into the small bottle so that a bit of beauty potion stuck to his fingertip, then placed the fingertip on his left face. Magically the black patches on the passage disappeared without a trace, turning into white and smooth skin.

"That's amazing!" shouted Peng Xiao Ran excitedly.

Without wasting any more time, Peng Xiao Ran smeared a beauty potion all over his face.

Peng Xiao Ran felt that his facial skin was very ademic and fresh. Peng Xiao Ran could already imagine his face turning white and soft.

Peng Xiao Ran's joy was only a moment. Suddenly the skin on his face burned and peeled off slowly, revealing flesh covered with blood.

"AH! So sick! The heat! Bidithy!My face! The Ugly! What you gave me!" shouted Peng Xiao Ran as he cupped both hands to his face.

When he saw that his hands were full of blood and skin, Peng Xiao Ran cried out hysterically.

"Kill him!Kill her! You two kill this ugly one immediately!" peng Xiao Ran shouted while looking towards his two personal bodyguards.

Both of Peng Xiao Ran's personal bodyguards lay lifeless on the riverbank with their eyes wide open. Black-colored fresh blood flowed at the corner of their lips both signifying death caused by the poison.
