Chapter 42. The Kuntilanak Fly

That night at ten, a group of people screamed while hitting a baton at an electric pole. They shouted the word kuntilanak many times. They ran across Dita and Tasya's house.

Everyone just nodded awake. So did Dira, Adam, Fasya, and Disya. Curious people just went outside the house. Apparently, the people who do patching and yelling kuntilanak earlier lead to the banana garden where Anta and Arya performed the wedding first.

"What the hell, anyway?" ask Adam to one of the hansip.

"There's a flying kuntilanak, Dam. From Mr. RT's house!" yells.

"Huh? Flying kuntilanak?"

The two sets of twins spoke at the same time.

"Come on, we're chasing!" take Adam.

"Yeah!" sahut Fasya's.

However, when the young man was about to open the fence of the house, Dita immediately pulled Adam's earlobes. Likewise with Tasya who immediately pulled the earlobe Fasya.

"Our mothers are compact, yes" whispered Disya to Dira despite being blocked by the one-meter-high wall.

Anan and Herdi just looked at each other and scratched their heads. The behavior of their wives is scary if they are angry.

"Sir Anan, Mr. Herdi, come on board! We're looking for the kuntilanak!" bring the hansip.

"So, you didn't see that figure, Sil?" ask Dita.

"No, Mother. My eyes were wearing this cucumber. Hehehe, I took it from Mother's house earlier" replied Silla.

"Well, if that's all coming in! Later wait for news from Yanda aja about kuntilanak earlier!" dita Exclamation.

"Bun, our new neighbor's house is quiet and dark. Though there was just a rame-rame time No one came out of the house, why?" ask Dira.

"Maybe they weren't at home. Okay, yuk, let's go in!" bring Dita.

Half an hour later, Anan came home. He told me that he and the people found nothing about flying kuntilanak.

Meanwhile, at Joshua's house. He's actually inside the house. However, the crowded voice was not heard the school his home was not in the complex area. Joshua seemed to be bewitched by falling asleep. Until two in the morning, Joshua began to wake up.

Joshua, who had just come from the bathroom at two in the morning, suddenly heard the sound of objects falling from the roof of the house. He almost lay down at that time. Joshua woke up and found his wife lying next to him.

The man stared fixedly at Miyako. The wife did not hear what she had just heard. Unable to see his wife, Joshua chose not to wake her. He tried to get up but then suddenly his hand was held by his wife.

"Mas, where are you going?" asked Miyako suddenly.

"Loh, you're up, huh? I thought you were slumbering. I heard the sound of a gedebug from the top of the tile. I want to check first, yes," said Joshua.

"Leave it, Mom! At least there are fruits that fall or there are rats that swish already let it go," said Miyako.

Joshua still could not display his curiosity. The man then got up. He was curious and peeked out the window. Suddenly, his gaze was fixed on a bunch of rays from afar.

Joshua squealed, sharpening his eyes. The longer the more clearly visible a group of people from the path not far from his house. The men carried flashlights and carried baseball or wooden bats and also green bamboo that had been tapered. They went hand in hand while mentioning kuntilanak.

"Kuntilanak?" mumbling Joshua.

The group of people then passed in front of Joshua's house. One of them approached and knocked on the door of the police. Joshua was on standby by grabbing his firearm and hiding it behind his back. Joshua was afraid that they had evil intentions.

"Yes, sir, what's wrong?" ask Joshua.

"Father of the new man, yes, here?" ask the moustached man in the glove.

"Yes, I'm new here. What's up, huh?" ask Joshua.

Miyako came out of the room. He stared intently at the man with the mustache. The man with the mustache lowered his head.

"Sir, you better be careful" he said.

Then, after he said that sentence, the man with the mustache said his farewell and passed with his entourage. Joshua was just stunned and trying to digest every word of the father. His forehead wiggling.

"Mas, what's wrong?" ask Miyako.

"You know, it was strange that the father was not clear! Come on, come on, sleep again!" bring Joahua.

Miyako nodded. Joshua then closed the door. He and his wife went to their room.

At the police station.

"Jo, can we talk to you for a second?" ask Jin.

"What do you want to say? It's just here!" sahut Joshua's.

"Gue wants to talk to a more private place actually. But, if you want to discuss it here, yes I'm jabanin."

"Gue don't understand what you mean, Jin?"

"This is about Mia, the journalist who went missing one month ago after the discovery of the corpse of Revelation," Jin said.

Joshua frowned and said, "Mia? What does this have to do with me?"

"There was. I got word that Mia met you the night before she went missing, at the scene behind the night market" Jin said.

Joshua flinched and immediately pulled Jin's hand to the back of the canteen.

"Now you're being honest with me, Jo, before anyone accuses you of anything to do with Mia's disappearance" Jin said.

"If anyone accuses me, it means you're the one who accuses me, Jin!" Joshua now gripped the collar of Jin's uniform.

"If you don't want to be accused then you should be honest from the beginning, Jo!" Jin brushed Joshua's hands off.

An officer who was about to urinate in the park behind the cafeteria was suddenly jolted by the presence of Joshua and Jin who seemed to show cold war. The officer almost pulled out his heirloom.

"Eh, there's Mr. Jin and Mr. Jo." The bald-headed man on the front was grimacing.

"Sir Parto, what are you doing?" ask Jin.

"Hehehe, I want ngadem, sir," he replied.

"Ngadem, how come, open your pants? Please keep clean. If you want to pee at least in the bathroom there," said Jin.

"I'm sorry, sir, I just finished the bathroom full, '" he said.

"Please, Sir…." Jin nodded in annoyance.

"Ready, Sir! Do it!" Mr. Parto immediately rushed away.

Joshua was also about to leave, but Jin held his hand for a moment.

"You didn't give me the answer to my question, Jo, yet" Jin said.

The two eyes of the sturdy man with almost the same height were staring at each other intently as if there was a flash of lightning in between.
