Not Just Married

Not Just Married
Trying to be ordinary

Hearing Hana's explanation, Amel nodded in understanding. "But it's possible that they looked close because they discussed their childhood friendships and they wanted to continue their once separated friendships." Amel's words tried to positivize Hana's thinking.

Hana shook her head. "I've never believed that there's a friendship between a woman and a man." Reply Hana.

Amel was silent and could no longer reply to Hana's true words.

"That's it. From now on I have to keep my heart from getting hurt. Just because Dika's attention to me doesn't mean he likes me. He could have been so to everyone. I'm the one who's too deep to deduce his attention." Hana smiled cynically.

Amel patted Hana's shoulder twice. "For the time being I can no longer give you much advice. Just don't let you regret your decision."

"I will never regret it. I just want to keep my heart okay. Besides, if he's my soul mate, he'll know where he's going to go." Hana closed their conversation in the park that afternoon.

*

Two weeks passed, Hana really showed her disinterest in Dika. Hana did not even respond to the temptations of her friends about her fake relationship with Dika. Hana's determination to ignore Dika was getting stronger as she listened to Dika and Liza's conversation for several times that afternoon in her class.

"My father and mother used to be very hopeful if we were a match. Even my Mama and Aunt Dina had planned our matchmaking since childhood. But unfortunately their intentions seem to be buried because you already have a lover." Said Liza without shame to Dika. And as usual Liza also raised her voice so Hana could hear it.

Hana put a headset on her ear. Pretend to listen to music and not listen to their conversations when in reality it is not.

From her seat, Hana could see clearly if now Liza seemed to notice her movements. Hana tries to be indifferent but still steals their conversation.

"Even if I don't have a lover, I won't be betrothed. Because I don't want my life partner to be arranged by anyone even if it's my parents." Reply to Dika with her face turning cold.

"sorry. But I'm just expressing the wishes of both of our parents." Said Liza who felt wrongly speaking.

Silence and no longer speaking. The man now seems busy with the phone he is holding.

Soon the excitement in the classroom began to sound when Dika sent information in their class group if their lecture this afternoon was canceled because their lecturer was sick and instead they were asked to summarize material that has been sent Dika into the group.

Hana nodded her head. "How can I not hear if the sound is so loud." Dengus Hana's.

"It seems she's deliberately trying to make you listen to her words." Amel.

"I know that. But I don't care." Hana's reply lied to her heart. Hana also rose from her seat feeling lazy to hear Amel's question that made her mood deteriorate.

In the front seat, Liza who had not yet left from Dika's side stared at Hana who was now passing her seat.

"Hana." Call Liza until Hana's steps stop.

Hannah turned her head back.

"Yes? Did you call me?" Hana asked with an unfriendly face.

Liza nodded her head in response. "There's something I want to ask you." Her speech.

Next to Hana's eyebrows seemed interested. "What do you want to ask?" asked Hana who felt there was no good intent from Liza's current gaze.
