Missing Room

Missing Room
Episode 72

The sound of groans accompanied by body wriggling makes me immediately put my phone back into the bag. I smiled at my daughter whose eyes were beginning to blink.

"Dear you're awake?" my words made him look at the source of my voice. Coinciding with the side of the open car door appeared the figure of Mas Pras who brought another package of food.

"Unfortunately, Papa woke up apparently, the afternoon bobok was very good?" mas Pras said then began to sit in the steering chair.

Aqila nodded and tried to get up and started rubbing her eyes. And when I wanted to make a sound to look at Mas Pras, I saw that he was smiling observing the behavior of our daughter who was very adorable.

"Why?" ask me who realized I was watching.

For a moment we looked, but this time what I felt my heart started pounding. My slightly open mouth now I clenched back, trying to normalize the situation I also wanted to convey my delayed speech earlier.

"A—aku let me just sit behind Aqila's company," I said by trying to be ordinary.

Pras looked back. "Aqila want to sit in front of Mama?" said Mas Pras accompanied by Aqila who stood up from his seat. This time Mas Pras swiftly lifted Aqila's body and moved it into his lap.

"Aqila's hungry?"

"No laper. Kila ate earlier, " said Aqila in response to Mas Pras.

"What did Aqila eat?"

"Pisa," cried Aqila who made Mas Pras look at me.

"It's just one piece," I said quickly.

"It's just one piece?" his tan this time turned to look at Aqila and was exchanged with a nod but accompanied by pointing two fingers at Mas Pras.

Suddenly it made Mas Pras growl. "So who's the real one, Mama or Aqila?"

"It's Papa!" sahut Aqila again showed two fingers. It made me stare hard and I quickly defended. "Part of eating it doesn't eat it often."

"Pisa is good Pa, Kila likes it," Aqila chirped and made Mas Pras anxious and kissed her cheek, to make Aqila laugh giggling over it.

"You are indeed compact," said Mas Pras to respond to me and my daughter, who unconsciously I now smile at how close Mas Pras is also Aqila. How sad he was for his daughter.

"Mas, by the way until when are we here?" I made Mas Pras look up.

"It's almost four o'clock in the afternoon, we go straight home?"

For a moment I thought before agreeing, he said, because I remembered something. "So morning Mama called, she said Papa was sick. If you don't bother, can I stop there first?"

"Of course, we better get there now."

"There's no more work, right?" many ensure.

Mas Pras smiled faintly then shook his head. "Aqila is sitting next to Mama?" mas Pras said and switched to lifting Aqila's body to sit beside me, because our bodies were both equally small to make the seat seat fit both occupied.

More than half an hour later we reached my parents' house. Earlier in the street Mas Pras had bought several plastic bags containing the fruit of the hand.

Papa's condition did look weak, he just lay on the bed with me and Aqila sitting next to him.

"Why don't you tell me Papa's sick again?" I said with a gentle massage on Papa's arm.

"You are pregnant like this, Mama is afraid to even be a thought," said Mama. "Lagian Pras also often here see the condition of your Papa. Make sure whatever is needed, sometimes if you're not busy check-up to the hospital."

"Why is he sick since when?"

"Not yet Pa, the day after the examination," I said stroking my stomach.

I see now the door is open showing the figure of Mas Pras who had permission to briefly take the luggage left in the car.

"Mas, today can I not get here?" I said ask her permission, because I haven't lived here since I got married.

Mas Pras nodded then crouched down in front of Aqila. "Tonight you're sleeping in Grandpa's place with Grandma?" he said it to my daughter.

Aqila also nodded enthusiastically in response to Mas Pras' words.

Until nightfall there was not much I actually did here, only earlier I took the time to accompany Papa to eat in his room. After Papa took a break, I decided to go into the room.

There is also Mas Pras Aqila here on my mattress, which is actually not so big in size when compared to the one in Mas Pras house.

After the door closed I approached them and sat on the edge of the bed. "Sleeping here?" ask her.

"Do you mind if I'm here?" his tanyak makes me a little jolted.

"That's not what I mean," I said quickly. "Only the mattress here is not as big as the one at home also there is no sofa, my room is small," he explained the reason because we have separated the bed for several months.

"I can't possibly sleep outside" my great-grandson.

"Then we can sleep three of us here?"

My eyes blinked.

"Let's go up" he said by patting the mattress by his side while Mas Pras shifted his body to hold Aqila.

"Mama!" greet Aqila as I begin to climb onto the bed, sitting next to Mas Pras. Back to my back on the back of the bed.

"Aqila isn't sleepy?" I asked him who was busy playing Mas Pras' cell phone.

"Let's see the kaltun" he said by showing the cartoon he watched.

"Where do you see" I said with Aqila who tried to get up from the lap of Mas Pras. But I gasped because of the appearance of his unstable footsteps made his body almost fall and spontaneously Mas Pras pulled Aqila's body until he could not overstretch my stomach.

Up until now what I felt was a pounding heart, a little fear and relief mixed into one.

"Other times more careful, there is a sister in Mama's stomach" said Mas Pras who immediately made me turn to him.

Aqila was seen nodding in response to Mas Pras' words, then crawling slowly with Mas Pras holding it. Then headed towards me to stroke accompanied by giving a kiss on my stomach. "I'm sorry, Brother, Dik" he said in a spelling tone.

As was his custom, Aqila did do so often. Sniffing, kissing also clings to his ears as if hearing what is inside there. Like this time he did was hug my stomach while exclaiming, "She kicked Ma!"

I responded with a smile and stroked his head. But the unexpected thing now happened, Aqila got up and called out to Mas Pras by telling him what had just happened.

"Papa, Brother!"

What happened now was that my heart was pounding strongly because Aqila's small hand brought Mas Pras' hand to land it on my stomach, even without movement but able to make the cavity in my chest tight.
