#24 Unraveling Mysteries (Black Witch Gwinia)

After the kidnapping, Yanneta is confined to the Soveil mansion. Lionel did not allow himself to step foot out of his house at all.

Lionel himself these days is preoccupied with the work in the palace.

The kidnapping never happened. Princess Gwinia's side was silent, Zonix's tower did not react, and Duke Soveil's demeanor was also silent.

"Does the Duke know about this visit?" Ask.

"Duke can go crazy finding you here." Syndic Dyos.

"I won't be long."

"Yes please." Dyos Acuh's.

Before opening his mouth Yanneta inhaled oxygen deeply then exhaled it slowly.

"When Duke went to review the border area I visited the library several times. With Duke's permission I can read any book I want."

"I read a book on the Science of Black Magic."

"Lady's taste is shocking." Celtuk Dyos.

"Because there's something I want to investigate."

"You need to know that black magic in Zagc is strictly forbidden. If anyone knew you learned such things your life would not have survived. Even I doubt Duke can save you."

"No. I just want to find out a little."

"About what?"

The look they meet.

"When I realized you were just asking the basic questions. Like something you cover. I know it. I not only drank poison but I was also exposed to magic right? I accidentally heard your conversation with Duke."

Dyos eyeballs vibrate. The person who from the beginning looked calm was now shaken.

Dyos was so stunned that he was unable to speak. He was suspicious of Princess Gwinia. He did not react so much because he could not possibly suspect the daughter of the great Emperor Zagc.

"Why would Princess Gwinia do something like this?"

"Are you worried that Duke was taken by the Princess?"

Yanneta's eyes glared. That's not what he meant. He wanted to hint to Dyos that it might be Gwinia who cast Hell's spell on Lionel. That means he's after Lionel. He is not sure what Gwinia wants from Lionel. For sure Yanneta is convinced that Gwinia can cast Hell's curse. He wanted to find out more about this.

Unfortunately, Yanneta's intentions were not conveyed to Dyos.

"Of course not. But if this black magic he used to hurt Lionel I wouldn't stay silent."

Yanneta suddenly remembered the story of Red Rose Tragedy. Gwinia Zagc is not particularly depicted as the focus of the story is the love triangle of Lionel, Rose, and Verdian. When rejected by Lionel he just disappeared. His name no longer appeared after Lionel and Rose were together.

"Something's wrong, something's wrong. The story hasn't even started yet but there have been a lot of strange events. Which part is wrong?" Yanneta murmured in the heart.

"Lady take it easy, I won't let that." Answer Dyos.

"But Lady.." Dyos' words stopped.

"Can you keep what the Lady knows a secret?"

"Yes?"

"We can't be rash. The lack of evidence will be the weapon of master's eating. If we throw this fact away without valid evidence we might be considered accusatory."

"Ah right." Yanneta agrees.

The followers of Princess Gwinia were numerous. If missteps could be he who will be the prey.

Zagc was once a city of magic. As the existence of pure magic and black magic was unbalanced, the city became chaotic. The domineering black magician started to get greedy and wanted to take control of the Zonix magic tower. They slaughtered all the pure witches with sadism.

Being completely overpowered by the black demons, the witches lost their human souls.

The pure witches who survived fled to Soveil and asked for asylum. With Soveil's help, Zonix's tower can be retaken by a pure witch. The whole city was sanctified and the black magicians were hanged, not least the black magician nobles. After that Zagc became a neutral and peaceful city. Until the formation of new powers in the Western Continent occurred.

But after a new power is formed, Zagc who is afraid of the power of Soveil acts devious. He throws a curse to subdue Soveil.

And this time the signs of black magic awakening began to be seen. The Zonix Tower that became the magic center in Zagc had supported the black magician.

Just waiting for destruction if black magic regains control of Zagc.

"I'll do a special investigation on Zonix."

"If Mr. Witch needs help please contact me, I'll be ready to help."

"For Duke. I want Duke to stay safe." Answer Yanneta honestly. His smile is growing.
