Love Scandal

Love Scandal
Part 50 ~ Love Scandal

After meeting Dito's parents, Aurora is eventually driven home to her parents without Alana in the car. Silence is created in the car, both Dito and Aurora are busy with their respective minds.

Aurora glanced at her ex-husband for a moment as she recalled her parents' words.

"No intention to get married again?" ask Aurora at last.

"No."

Aurora nodded in understanding. "If someday you want to get married and Alana is still a child, hand me over? I don't want her to have a stepmom."

"No intention of marriage?" This time it was Dito who asked, making Aurora gasp. Even so he replied with a sledgehammer.

"No, I won't get married until when. I'm afraid of other men. From here I can learn that not all our desires must be had. Sometimes we have to lose something to live better." Trying to smile even though it is difficult. Just let Aurora harbour her heartache.

Let him feel himself without involving others, because from the beginning who started is himself. Most importantly now her daughter's life is fine and not haunted by her mother's bleak past.

Aurora flinched as a hand stroked her head.

"Run your life well and don't be burdened by anything. Relax, everything will be good. College, Alana and our relationship. What changed was just status," said Dito who began to make peace with the pain in his heart.

Maybe if she hadn't fallen for Aurora the pain wouldn't have been this deep.

Dito was about to slam the steering wheel into the courtyard of Aurora's house, but the woman stopped and asked Dito to stop in front of the fence.

"Why?"

"No need to go in. I can explain myself with mommy and daddy."

"But ...."

"Gue is not papa, I am fine and want to rest in peace. Your presence will make a scene at home. I want to sleep."

Despite the hesitation Dito nodded his head, looking at Aurora's back across the high fence while carrying a suitcase. The man let out a long sigh, driving his car away from the house he used to frequent.

Didn't feel Dito's eyes dewy. The separation made him feel sad. However, there was nothing he could do anymore. Talak has fallen where there is no chance of being together again.

This is all because Dito's ego upholds when it knows Aurora never appreciates it.

Dito continued to drive his car in an uncertain direction, in contrast to Aurora who laid her body on the bed. The woman was able to rest in peace without getting questions from her parents who turned out to be abroad.

Tears flowed down the Aurora pillow.

"This is the last time I cry. I have to get up, I'm 20 years old" Aurora murmured.

"Basically every meeting has to be a farewell so why be sad?" inner Aurora looked at the ceiling of her room.

Dito was right, nothing had changed in her life other than the status of no longer being one's wife. His relationship with Dito is also fine like an ordinary friend despite the awkward feeling of loving each other. It was only there that made them separate.

Suppose that

It seemed like only that sentence continued to accompany every single sentence of Aurora for now. If only it would be present if regret had come and Aurora was now being regretful.

The woman glanced at her vibrating phone. Smiling when a message came in from Dito's best friend named Keenan.

Are you okay, Pretty? Believe me after the rain there will be a beautiful rainbow. Keep smiling.

Thanks for the spirit Keen.

Of all of Dito's friends, only Keenan has never changed. A man who always gives positive energy in the midst of problems that hit.

"Now Dito what again? Is he going to headquarters? Is she the same Alana? I hope he's okay and doesn't brawl with Aron."

Just a few minutes apart, Aurora's thoughts have been on her ex-husband. Maybe because it has become a habit for him when together.
