Chap 14: Whispers at the Dining Table
Upon Gina and Arvin's arrival at Home, Sara prepares to cook dinner.
“Mami, we're home!” arvin was excited.
“You're home already? ” reply Sara who is tying her apron in her band.
“Arvin darling wash your hands and feet then go take a shower, after that dinner!" sara exclaimed at Arvin who was about to run to her room.
“You want to cook? “ asked Gina to see Sara who had used an apron.
“iya nih," reply Sara.
“I help ya," said Gina offering help.
“No need to rest and watch TV, you must be tired because you just came home from Cardia and instead I asked to pick up Arvin,” said Sara told Gina to rest.
“Alright then, but if you need help call me," said Gina who then headed to the living room to rest and watch TV.
45 Minutes later, Sara approached Gina who was watching TV.
“Gina..., dinner is ready let's eat first!" bring Sara.
Gina who was still busy watching TV did not respond to Sara instead commented by herself,
“Wah changed again? Though two weeks ago just gossiped with actress Liana Wang, Eh appeared again rumors dating top model ckckck.." said Gina clucked in wonder.
“Who?” sara asked confusedly seeing Gina talking to herself so.
“Who else if not the great CEO of Emerald, his popularity will beat the celebrities in this country!" answer Gina.
“Oh, just news about him," said Sara lightly.
“Huh, you said this news is just?!” sahut Gina is shocked by Sara's response to the news.
“Loh, why? What should I do? After all, why should be surprised, not for those who have high positions and a lot of money are used to changing partners. Let alone who is still a boyfriend, who is married, many have an affair,” explained Sara clearly.
“What you said is true too.." reply Gina.
“In my opinion that makes no sense, why the hell the news of the scandal of the relationship of CEO Emerald with women always makes the public excited, I wonder so much...," said Sara who feels strange to see people who are always excited about the news about the CEO Emerald.
“What makes people interested is probably because Mr. Ryuzen Han is mysterious, plus the charisma charm he has is extraordinary, not to mention his attractive appearance is not surprising that it steals a lot of attention. “Well you won. Now we better get to the dinner table, 'cause I'm so hungry!" reply Gina whose stomach has started to sound.
“Alright, you go to the dinner table first, I want to call Arvin first," said Sara who walked to Arvin's room.
*tok tok the sound of knocking on the door from Outside Sara spoke
“Arvin darling...! Dinner's ready, let's go out."
“Yes, Mom! “ reply Arvin from the inside then open the door of his room and exit towards the dining table for dinner. Sara, Arvin, and Gina are already at the dinner table and preparing for dinner.
“Good eat!" say the three of them.
“Hmm, you really are a cook, your cooking is almost as good as the cuisine at Uncle and Aunt Huang's restaurant" Gina said in praise
“Thank you for your praise Gina,” reply Sara is happy.
“Mami is a cook, unfortunately there is no man who can taste the cuisine" whispered Arvin to Gina.
“Yes, you're right!" timpal Gina whispered to Arvin.
“The two of you, whispering so about who?” sara asked annoyed and suspicious because she knew exactly what they were talking about.
“Huh? No, we're not talking about anything, are we Auntie?" arvin said to Gina.
Gina agreed with Arvin and said,
“Arvin is right, we are just talking about the unimportant! just relax."
Sara could only sigh because she was not sure about the words of her best friend and child. They continued their dinner until it was over.
