3 Months Girlfriend

3 Months Girlfriend
Chapter 23: The Great Clothes

Sharon clapped her hands once and smiled widely. A response Elle did not expect. Elle smiled awkwardly. It seems like Elle managed to get Sharon to believe her lie.

However, Elle's smile faded as Sharon said, “Good then. He's very handsome. I think I like it. Since you guys seem close, will you match her with me?”

Once again Elle laughed and even sounded discordant. He flicked his hand once and then went back to the sink and washed his hands for no reason. “We're not that close. How could a girl like me be close to Bren?”

Elle looked at Sharon from the corner of her eye. The girl looks like she's frowning. “You guys aren't close, but why did he lend you his shirt?”

Elle was biting in her inner mouth. His brain suddenly felt empty. What should he tell Sharon? Instantly for some reason Sharon's simple questions felt difficult for Elle.

Truly Elle wants to say, “Yes! We're dating! She's mine!” But the fact that not a word came out of Elle's lips. Elle wants to claim to everyone that Bren is hers. But, he cannot.

“Elle?” Sharon's voice breaks Elle's attitude.

Elle blinked a few times. “Y-ya?”

“So, are you close or not to Bren?”

Elle is facing Sharon now. But his eyes were everywhere. “Ah, yes…. Tha-that…. We're not close. But, he once owed me a favor, so he wants to help me now.” Elle grimacing. Does his statement make sense now? Will Sharon believe him this time? Elle doesn't really want to answer Sharon's question, which feels like an introductory question to Elle.

“Utang budi?”

“He once borrowed my calculus notebook,” bright Elle fast without thinking long. Again a terrible reason came out of his mouth. Elle closed her eyes for a moment while cursing herself repeatedly.

Again unexpectedly, Sharon formed the letter “O” while nodding her head.

“I think you're close,” murmured.

Elle hurriedly handed over the paper bag containing Sharon's clothes. “Thank you. But, I will use this only.”

Sharon picked up the paper bag and said, “Why don't you just use this? I think my clothes look better on your body than the ones you use now.”

Elle simply smiled faintly hearing Sharon's forthright statement. For Elle there was nothing better between the clothes Sharon gave her and the ones Bren gave her. Sharon's clothes were too minimal while Bren's clothes were too big.

Elle shook her head slowly while holding the hoodie attached to her body. “I use this only,” murmured. Elle does not want to wear Sharon's clothes not only because she feels uncomfortable wearing skimpy clothes, but also because Bren says he is ugly when wearing the clothes.

An annoyed grunt came out from Elle's lips. Was he that bad when he wore Sharon's shirt?

"All right, then. Come on, go to class together," Sharon took along while holding Elle's arm without Elle's approval.

Elle walked in half-dragged. He did not come out of the toilet because of shame. After all, the break time is not over yet!

Unable to resist Sharon, Elle chooses to resign as Sharon drags her along. Until finally he reached the hallway of the classroom where all the students scattered, gathered.

Elle looked at the faces of the students who were staring at her. Someone immediately nudged his friend and immediately whispered while holding back a laugh. Someone laughed straight away. Someone was staring at Elle from top to bottom with a strange look. And various other responses that make Elle embarrassed.

"Look! He looks like an eskimo!" a guy laughs while laughing.

With her face bent, Elle stomped her feet towards the locker. It's all because of his fucking girlfriend who gave him this shirt! Elle opened the locker door and took the book roughly.

"Hey... hey.. are you okay?" sahron asked, holding Elle's wrist, who was about to walk away from the front of the locker after slamming the door.

"sorry. I'm fine—"

"Oh. My. God! Redhead, what happened to your clothes? Did you just run out of spring clothes at home? You look so bad! Like wearing a gunny sack!" sara chirped when they accidentally. Sara laughed loudly. Both of his friends, Joe and Tyler, followed.

Tyler stopped a boy in two braids, who was carrying a used slinger¹ last winter. Looks like the kid just cleaned up the hall used for last winter's festival.

Tyler took two slingers out of the boy's hand. Purple color and red color. He then wrapped the slinger around Elle's neck. "Well, now you look better."

Sara's laughter broke. So did Tyler. They laugh so loud. So the children around them stared at Elle and whispered back.

Sharon seemed furious. He moved a step closer to Sara. "Think of your own business, Bitc*!—" Sharon growled, but Elle held Sharon's hand and shook her head. He didn't want the problem to be more runnyam. Better he just give up.

Sharon snorted, and stared fiercely at Sara. "Woah, new friend, huh?" tanyanya Sara while glancing towards Sharon.

Tyler, who was initially unaware of Sharon's presence, whistled as he stared at Sharon's appearance from top to bottom. "You're supposed to hang out with me, pretty," Tyler teased Sharon as she poked her chin.

Sara rolled her eyes. "It's not the time to find a new boyfriend, Tyler," he said cynically.

Tyler chuckled and turned his attention towards Sara. He then put his hand on Sara's shoulder and led her away. "Don't worry, Honey. You're still number one to me" he said and only responded with Sara rolling her eyeballs back.

Elle keeps Sharon from chasing Sara and Tyler. Sara and Tyler's bidding is embarrassing, because they do it in public. However, to Elle, it was nothing. If, he hadn't responded to Sara and Tyler at the moment, Elle thought the matter wouldn't have widened everywhere.

"Why did you let them make fun of you, Elle?!" furious Sharon.

Elle flicked her shoulders while releasing the slinger wrapped around her neck. "There is no specific reason. I just don't want to make a small problem big."

"Little?" Sharon stared in disbelief at Elle. "It's a big deal, Elle! Sara Turner's been a bully since Elementary School, and letting her bully you will only make her more powerful!" his screeches.

"You know Sara?"

"Sure! I went to school with him and I was one of his victims!"
