Special Valentine Chapter

"Hachooo~"

Gerald tightened his jacket due to the colder weather. Lately he often felt cold, especially when he saw a couple who were making out on the street.

"Hey, do you know who you're going to gift?"

"I'll give it to Konnie,"

"I thought I'd give it to Emil,"

"Ha! If it were me, of course I would give it to my dear Gerald."

Gerald was shocked. He knows who is talking, even if he doesn't see who it is. A girl who keeps teasing him every day. Even though he was eager to avoid it, the girl could always find it.

The young man lowered his head, trying to hide from Kannon. However, instead of hiding, it made the girl approach him and pat him on the shoulder. Gerald. He involuntarily shouted, "Kyaa!!!"

"Darling, I have a gift for you" Kannon said, giving Gerald a box wrapped in purple wrapping paper and red tape.

"Lord, keep me away from the damned devil. Keep your servant away from the false whispers of the devil. Destroy them so that I will not be disturbed again. Protect this innocent and sinless me. Aamiin~"

Kannon blinked her eyes repeatedly at Gerald, who muttered indistinctly, raising his hand. The girl did not understand what he was doing. He put the gift he had prepared on Gerald's desk for a moment and changed his expression back to joy.

While applauding, Kannon said, "Wah~a man who was obedient to his religion. I like someone like that", then he hugged the young man's neck from the side.

Gerald laughed awkwardly. Really, he had gotten used to the strange behavior of Kannon. I don't know what the girl saw of her that made her keep chasing after Gerald.

"Wah~can you let me go? You're making it hard for me to breathe" muttered Gerald who didn't seem to be touched by Kannon.

The girl continued to hug Gerald as she swung him to the right and to the left. As if, Gerald was just a doll. In fact, the grip of the girl's arm around Gerald's neck was like a headlock.

"Ehem~may I borrow her Gerald for a moment, Miss Kannon?" mage saved his friend.

Gerald looked at the bespectacled young man with a happy face. He saw the Mage as an angel descending from heaven.

"Am I going to die? I saw an angel, mother. I saw my grandfather calling me. Wait, grandpa, I'm coming, "gau Gerald.

It seemed that the young man had almost met his end if the Mage did not help him immediately. He even hallucinated seeing a grandfather he had never met. He did not know what his grandfather's face was like.

Mage patted the top of his friend's head firmly enough to resuscitate him. The young man immediately dragged Gerald away from Kannon and his friends. He takes Gerald to where Emil and Ladon have joined.

"I've brought him. He's dying like it's your turn to help him" Mage said.

He put Gerald's body lying on the table. Ladon and Emil stared at each other. They thought of a way how to resuscitate the brown-haired young man.

Suddenly, Emil came up with an idea. He immediately informed Ladon and Mage of the idea and the idea was immediately acknowledged by both of them.

"Ehem, ahem~ oh, is that Lacy? He's with Fred's senior" Emil said in Gerald's ear.

"Well, he was given a great gift" Ladon said.

"Well, today is valentine's day. They're also a good match" Mage welcomed.

It seemed like the strategy of the three of them was to make Gerald jealous and inevitably have to wake up. Sure enough, upon hearing Lacy's name, the young man's eyebrows shot up. He tried to listen carefully to the conversation of his three friends.

"Yes, of course. Senior Fred was the most handsome senior and he was also an osis chairman. Who wouldn't want to be with him?" reply Ladon.

"Yes, he can't be compared to Gerald who has nothing. Oho! Look, they're holding hands.Honey!!their faces are getting closer."

Emil started a fire on Gerald's body that had been doused in gasoline. The young man immediately woke up from his sleep and shouted, "NOKK!!!"

Emil, Ladon, and Mage laughed out loud at Gerald's cry. In fact, Lacy and Fred are nowhere near them. The story was only made by Emil to make Gerald wake up. What a great way to wake someone up.

"Are you satisfied with me?" gerald sarcas. He stared at the three of his friends who were still laughing at him. In fact, there are those who shed tears because they laugh too hard.

Gerald rolled his eyeballs. He began to regret himself being friends with the three demons.

"Hahaha~that was really funny, hahaha..haha.ha..ha.ha~ okay is not funny anymore," said Mage.

"Particularly, it's impossible for Lacy to let her hand be held by that senior. You've been kicked by that girl just for holding her hand" Ladon said, reminding Gerald of the memory.

"Whispering, when I almost forgot it," replied Gerald.

"Aren't you going to give him a gift? It's valentine's day, you know," said Mage, trying to change the subject.

"Gift? What reward? What is valentine?" ask Gerald.

All were shocked by the young man's statement. The mood of the class became quiet. However, not long after they all got busy with their respective activities.

"Do you really not know what valentine is?"

Gerald nodded his head in response to Emil's question.

"Geez, my friend, where you've lived all this time, you don't know what valentine is" Emil said.

"Valentine is a day of love. In East Mantauna, people will give gifts to people they like. There are rumors that if a couple formed on Valentine's Day, then their love will be eternal" explained Emil.

"But, yah~it's just a rumor.it's impossible for us to believe such a ridiculous rumor like it-"

When Emil turned his head, he didn't see Gerald there. He asked Ladon and Mage. With his compote they replied, "He left after you said 'eternal',"

The three of them looked at each other. Well~since when did Gerald let them finish his words. As a result, they could only sigh deeply with the behavior of his friend.

Meanwhile, Gerald quickly goes to the school cafeteria to buy a snack that Lacy likes. However, he accidentally meets Lacy and Mao who pass by in front of him. He also unintentionally listened to a word that shattered his hopes.

"Did you know? it turns out that the rumor that the pair formed on valentine's day will be eternal is wrong. Couples who form on Valentine's Day will instead be miserable in the relationship until the end of life," said Mao who made Gerald fall.

"Yes, from the beginning it was a ridiculous rumor. If anyone believes him, then he is a fool, irrational, and unreliable."

Gerald was struck by every word that came out of Lacy's mouth. The girl was like making fun of herself who believed in baseless rumors.

With a staggering step, Gerald returned to the classroom. She was discouraged after hearing the facts from Lacy. However, he was not a man who gave up easily. He couldn't possibly give up just because of the ridiculous thing he almost did.

The young man patted both of his cheeks quite hard. He lifted his head, trying to get excited back to get love from Lacy. But something strange seems to be.

Gerald immediately turned his gaze around. A lot of couples are making out in front of him. While laughing bitterly, the young man complained, "I hope there is no more Valentine's Day. These couples are making my single life miserable."

"Go you love-hungry demons!!!!! Get off the face of this earth!!! Show your affection elsewhere. Argh!!!"

Everyone stared at Gerald who was shouting indistinctly. The young man ran along the corridor while still shouting. It kept all the teachers out of his office just to see the cool spectacle for them, including Arnold.

Crossing his arms in front of his chest, Arnold said, "Poor young man. Not having a partner on a day of love? He always loses in every aspect. Hahahaha~"

The demonic laughter from Arnold echoed throughout the corridor and closed one more peaceful day at the Alphrolone school.

Hello~happy Valentine's day everyone. May today have better happiness than yesterday. For those who do not have a partner is fine, there is still family, there is still waifu, there is still oppa. Right?
