Unleashed Power

Unleashed Power
Chapter 19

"Well, hello everyone, I'm Levy Mionne. I as the homeroom teacher will teach you about protection magic."

Gerald yawned on the sidelines of his teacher's explanation. Not only had the class started, the young man was already tired physically and mentally. He continues to be followed by Kannon who keeps clinging to him. Right now Kannon only looked at him with sparkling eyes.

The young man rolled his eyeballs. He was so tired that he had not done anything.

"Mom, what about those who can't use magic?"

Levy's friendly face was piqued due to a question from Lacy. As much as possible he maintained his smile and said, "No, you don't have to take this class."

Lacy's speechless. He considered the words of his teacher to be a mockery of someone like him.

All the disciples laughed at Levy's words, and some even shouted, "A nulla is not welcome here. They should just die."

Lacy gritted her teeth. Both of his hands had been clenched perfectly so upset. But there was nothing he could do. He didn't want to cause any trouble the first day he came in.

"Pity, he should just stay home. Why did he bother to go to magic school" Kannon murmured.

Gerald was still able to clearly hear the murmur. He was really uncomfortable with this situation. The young man turned his gaze towards Lacy. There, she could see clearly that Lacy was bowing her head. It seemed like the girl was desperately holding back the anger.

"Already, already. Let's get back to the lesson" Levy said.

Gerald stared at the woman's cynic. At first glance, he could see her smiling. The woman seemed to be very satisfied with her actions and it further infuriated Gerald.

He'd love to help Lacy, but in what way? His magic was still weak and unshaken. Right now he could do nothing to protect the girl.

The atmosphere in the class was quiet again. Everyone was busy listening to Levy's explanation. Not with Gerald. The young man looked up at Lacy. He's still worried about her.

"This protection magic was first introduced by the Kavrlot family that bears the status of a grand magician. This magic is very easy, but it is quite difficult as well. Do you know why?"

The mouths of all the students there were locked. No one answered the question from the woman, until the Mage raised his hand.

"The protection magic is a low-level magic whose application is quite easy, but the level of difficulty is in its robustness" he explained.

Levy applauded, appreciating the correct answer from the Mage. Followed by all students, except Gerald. He's still busy watching Lacy. The boy was not focused on his class.

"Truely, the robustness of this magic depends on the ability of the magician himself. If the magic in you is weak, then the protector you made will be weak as well. Therefore, many increase their stamina and practice magic in order to achieve the maximum sturdiness of their protector."

"This "protector that we make, is connected to our body. The stronger and sturdier the protector, the more drained our energy will be. If that strong protector gets damaged, then our bodies will feel it" Levy continued.

Lacy tapped her finger on the table. The girl did not seem to notice Levy's explanation. He was further annoyed by the serpent-like words of the woman.

"Lacy, are you okay?" whispered Mao.

Lacy smiled. Of the many people, only Mao was willing to befriend him who was a nulla. When he was a child, his father Mao often visited his house with Mao.

If Shern and Cana, her aunt, are busy, she will play with Mao. Unlike the others, Mao's gaze on him was not a sneering gaze, but a warm gaze that wanted to befriend him.

"I'm fine" replied Lacy.

The girl turned her eyes out the window. He really wants to get out of there. He didn't fit in with a lesson that was just sitting in a class like this. He had to raise his sword, only then would he feel at ease.

"Unleashed Authority of the Ruler: Forgotten Memories"

Lacy's head suddenly buzzed after hearing the whisper. He looked around, trying to figure out who did it. He wondered what the spell meant, what did it do?

The girl looked out the window again. There, he was shocked to see someone in a black robe hiding behind a tree. While pounding the table, Lacy got up from her seat. He was really surprised to see that person.

"Lacy Deandris, get out of my class right now. You're too noisy and annoying to others" Levy said.

The whole student started to riot. Some of them gossiped blatantly about Lacy's attitude, while others gossiped with friends next to her.

Lacy was silent while still looking out the window. Of course, he happily heeded Levy's words. If he had, he wanted to find that person and expel the pain that was still lodged in his head.

Seeing Lacy happily come out, Gerald and Mage exchanged glances. The two of them did not expect that the girl would easily listen to Levy's orders.

Gerald turned his eyes out the window, where Lacy had seen him. Actually, Gerald was still watching the girl. When he was shocked, Gerald looked in the same direction. But he saw nothing there. Only the trees are next to each other.

The young man scratched his non-itchy head. He was too dizzy to continue his worries.

"Alright, let's continue the lesson" Levy said.

...****************...

It's a nice day to enjoy your morning coffee. Arnold breathed a sigh of relief. He was so satisfied with the beautiful sight before him, the cup of coffee in his hand, and the arm that was in Alphrolone school.

I don't know how long he's been able to enjoy the quiet and quiet at this school. Normally, he was overwhelmed by the school affairs bestowed upon him from the principal. He didn't even have enough time to rest.

But now, he could relax quietly, without any distractions, without any problems, and without any of the work piling up.

"Sir Arnold, go check out the woods behind the school. Looks like the protector's broken down there."

Arnold was determined to hear an order from Eden, the headmaster. He looked at the man with a clear face. He had just enjoyed his time off, the man's time could have given him a job.

But unfortunately, Arnold's face did not apply to Eden. The old man simply looked at him as he kept telling him to inspect the forest behind the school. Either because he is insensitive or because he has no heart.

As a result, with a forced move, Arnold walked into the forest behind the school. While continuing to mutter in annoyance along the way, Arnold cast a detection magic spell. Trying to find out if there are any unwanted creatures around the forest.

"There's nothing. He's too careful, you old man. When did he retire?" grouse Arnold.

The man was about to return to his comfort zone when he finished looking around. However, he saw something white from the tip of his eyes. Arnold was silent.

"Is that a ghost? See no, yeah?" his inner.

The inner upheaval of Arnold. On one hand, he was curious as to what the creature was, yet on the other he was too afraid to see. Finally, after some debate broke out in his mind, Arnold ventured to take a look.

There, he could clearly see Lacy standing between two large trees. The girl seemed to be talking to something, but Arnold had no idea what it was. Slowly, the man approached her so that he could hear their conversation.

"...this evening,"

"Well, tonight, full moon, take Konny to the portal of illusion, Praesidium forest, orders are received" Lacy said.

Arnold scrunched his forehead confused. Lacy's way of talking seemed strange to her. The girl was hypnotized. Knowing something was wrong, Arnold immediately followed Lacy. He no longer followed the person he was talking to, because Arnold knew he had disappeared from the forest.

Arnold walked behind Lacy who looked staggering. The man rushed before her and saw Lacy's face.

Arnold was surprised, but Lacy was hypnotized. His eyes looked blank and he continued to mutter the command words from the person earlier.

"Rescious Lacy!" yell Arnold quietly. He was afraid that the person was still watching him.

The man shook Lacy's little body to make her realize. But that didn't work. As a result, Arnold's heavy heart hit the back of the girl's neck and knocked her unconscious.

"The best way to awaken a hypnotized person" he said, taking Lacy to the UKS.
