Alifa dropped out of her class. Jostling with other children. They seemed excited to run towards their parents. Maybe going home from school was the most fun. Her tiny legs continued to swing close to Adiba who was busy playing ball giving the headmaster. Sweat filled his face until several strands of hair covered his forehead and cheeks.
I put my phone in the bag. During his class, Alifa was able to write almost three thousand words, and it was the first time he could produce such a neat writing in such a short period of time. It can also serve some buyers who are interested in the product.
"Alifa was taught anything?" tanya Ayu stood up from her seat. Approaching Alifa and Adiba who were sitting on the swing.
"Singing and naming the parents, Ma," replied Alifa straightforwardas. He remembered what the teacher taught him on the first day of school.
"Alifa can?" tanya Ayu made sure.
Alifa nodded without a sound. Grabbing the remaining bread and devouring it.
The school atmosphere began to fade. The children have left that place. Now only the remaining teacher who is tidying up the class before tomorrow back in residence.
I look at her appearance again. Carrying Adiba from earlier yawned. The clock has shown at ten and it's time for the youngest to fall asleep.
"We go home yuk! Mama wants to deliver goods to customers," said Ayu who was immediately understood by Alifa.
His age of six years has understood the words of the mother about her current job.
Along the way, Ayu continued to smile faintly hearing the singing from Alifa's tiny lips. Although it was not entirely true and clear yet, he was amazed by the boy. Just like Hanan, Alifa's spirit was high and several times said she wanted to become a doctor.
"Next time teach me to sing again, Ma!" pinta Alifa with a loud voice. The sound of vehicles passing on the highway.
"Yes, Son. What is important now is that you must be diligent in learning to be smart quickly," he said in a soft tone.
He stopped at a grocery store. Buy some kitchen needs that are almost exhausted. Even though the money is mediocre, Ayu still prioritizes the children still fulfilled their needs.
"How, Ma?" ask Ayu while reaching for her bag.
"Three hundred thousand, ma'am," the shopkeeper replied as he placed the groceries in front of Ayu.
Ayu took three hundred bills and paid for them. Back to opening the bag. His hands were fumbling for something he hadn't seen in a few days.
"Where's my brown wallet? Isn't it always in this bag?" ask Ayu inwardly. Go back and check the contents of his bag.
Sure enough, the wallet he was looking for was not in the bag making Ayu confused. Not because of the amount of money, but in the wallet there are some important letters. Including his old identity card.
Ayu came out of the store with groceries in both hands. Alifa was forced to walk in front of her. However, stay with extra supervision.
Upon arrival at the rented area, Ayu stopped her steps when she saw a very familiar car parked at the end of the road.
What else is he doing here?
Ayu's face suddenly upset. He did not know the purpose of the Kram coming. However, worry if the man will interfere with his life and the children.
"Why are you here again, Mom?" ask Ayu ketus.
Like this morning, Alifa was hiding behind Ayu. Not wanting to see the Ikram who already wanted to hug him. While Adiba, the boy was asleep in the arms of the mother.
Ikram stood up from his seat. His eyes lit up as if filled with anger. Staring fixed bead Ayu's eyes.
"What do you mean keep the kids away from me?" tanya Ikram is full of emphasis. It is as if it were destroyed.
Ayu smiled grinning. This is not a good time to fight to see children who have begun to understand what is happening.
Ayu left Ikram. Shortly thereafter, he returned alone. "What did you say? Keep away from the kids?" repeat Ayu as Ikram said.
"What's his name if it's not?" pekik Ikram not accepted.
He should get the kids back. At least get the right to them.
"You stay away from them, Mom. You start, and the children are more sensitive to reply to what you have given so far. They will not want to be around people who do not sincerely love them. I remind you once again." Raise one finger.
"Everything we plant, that's what we'll reap. So never blame others before you introspect yourself. Please go!" Without any hesitation Ayu expelled Ikram.
"You don't be selfish, Yu. I just want to meet the kids." Ikram squealed inadmissibly.
"When do you remember them, Mom? In fact, even when Adiba and Alifa cried you didn't care, and now say that you're the father."
Ayu laughed again as if she who won could lead the debate.
"A father will always be next to his son. He'll give them whatever they want. But what are you doing? You obviously rejected their request. You let Hanan down who had been expecting a lot from you. Now me and the kids just need peace. Please leave or I will call all the citizens here and shout the thief," Ayu threatened firmly.
He was really upset by the presence of Ikram who seemed to have no fault for abandoning his three children. They even demanded back over them. Isn't that a silly move?
Seen from far away Hanan came home from school. After leaning his bicycle beside the fence, he approached Ayu and kissed the back of her hand. Staring at the kram at a glance then entered the house without greeting the father.
This time the existence of Ikram is really not considered by his three children. He could not force his will and chose to leave. I hope next time I get a chance to hug them.
Hanan opened the window curtain. Staring at the back of Ikram who began to move away. It was a clear recollection of the time he had to attend father's day without his figure, and it was the most painful thing for him.
"I hate papa, until whenever I can't love papa like I love mama." Hanan clenched both of his hands. The wound that was once scratched by a cream stuck in the heart of a Hanan, so that he will not forget everything.
Unintentionally, Ayu heard Hanan's words from the living room. He rushed in and approached the son who looked sullen. Soothing so as not to hate Ikram too much.
''No, Ma. Until I will never forgive papa. He's bad for us."
Hanan rubbed his tears that had escaped and then threw away his face, afraid Ayu considered it crybaby.
