Ayu's steps are getting lazy when he sees test results that are not in accordance with his expectations. He stopped at the bathroom door. Staring at the sleeping Angga. There was fear seeping up his chest.
Breathe heavily before returning to bed. "Wake, Mas. It's morning" said Ayu softly.
Angga opened his eyes which still felt heavy. Stretched his hand. Hugging her slender waist which became her opium.
''It is almost Shahuh. Children want to pray with us, he added.
''Hmmm, I know kok, '' Angga replied with a distinctive hoarse voice waking up.
''Yes, you are, now you are ready. I woke them up first.'' Ayu helps Angga get up and get out of the room.
He first headed to Hanan's room, as the man was the one who was the hardest to awaken.
''It's customary that the lights go off, '' Ayu grumbled while looking for a switch.
He lights the lights. Shaking his head saw pillows and blankets lying on the floor. Although not the biological child of Angga, but some of his behavior is similar to that of the man.
''Wake up! It's morning, son. Papa's waiting, sneak.'' Shake the arm of the son who is still drowning in dreamland.
There was no response until Ayu had to repeat it again.
''Hanan, spiel! Papa is angry.'' She pulled away the blanket that covered the man's body.
''If you do not wake up, you take water, '' Ayu threatened.
Hearing the last word, suddenly made both Hanan's eyes wide open. He rushed to the bathroom to clean himself before getting cold from the mama.
Ayu chuckles at her son's behavior, although it is difficult to keep carrying out his obligations with the routine as taught.
Unlike Hanan who needs everything, Adiba and Alifa are easier. Even once called they immediately literate.
The warm atmosphere is always created until the sun rises. Their families used to be together in one room. Just a story or accompany children to learn.
But this time something was different. I was more silent than usual. It felt as if it was empty despite being filled with joking.
''Why are you, honey?'' Swiping the shoots of Ayu's head that are still covered with mucus.
Ayu nodded without a sound. His face was a little faint describing something being harbored.
''Don't lie! I know that you like this there must be a problem, press Angga.
Ayu smiled forcefully in order to trick the husband. Do not want to add to the burden of Angga who has been preoccupied with office work.
Hanan. Watching the two of them without comment, and occasionally helping Alifa with the task.
''Oh yes, my. Yesterday I ordered chicken. The plan is to go there today. You're not coming?'' tanya Ayu melted the atmosphere.
''Bby.'' Angga nodded in agreement.
Actually what's with Ayu, from yesterday she was silent like this.
As a husband who almost two months of living together, Angga began to recognize the condition of the wife is unnatural. Moreover, the woman always asked for her consent every time she did something, and it felt strange if it was like this right now.
Angga went into the room. While Ayu went straight to the kitchen to make food that was ordered by Winda.
Is Ayu having financial problems?
Angga picked up his phone and called Ais. Ask what happened at the store.
''There's nothing, sir. All is well, even this month turnover soared, Ais replied while looking at the incoming reports from some employees.
''All right, thank you. Next time if there is a problem you tell me, Angga's message to the assistant.
Angga closed the connection. He's going to the bathroom right away. Flush all over her body with an air shower.
''Ah, why is the soap running out anyway?'' gerutu Angga, trying to pour soap that is already exhausted. I had to walk to the closet. But there, too, it was empty. Accidentally his hand nudged something until it fell.
Angga picked it up and looked at the thing strewn beneath the floor.
''Tespect?'' he said after reading the writing on the package. Then open the trash.
His suspicions for a week were answered when he saw some of the tests that had been used in the trash can.
''Is it because of this that Ayu is silent?'' Angga quickly completed his activities. Perhaps, encouraging was the only path that made the woman smile back.
''It looks so good.'' Angga wrapped his hands around Ayu's stomach. Peeping his cheeks warmly.
I don't know, since when the man stood up, Ayu did not realize it until she rubbed her chest, surprised.
''Some ART chose to go. Give them a chance to make love.
''You can't really ngaggetin, me?'' Ayu turned off the stove. Lifting cooked dishes.
''Can't, honey, '' he said spoiled.
Twist Ayu's body until they meet face to face.
''I know why some days you are silent,'' said Angga to the core.
Ayu's smile seemed dim uninspired.
''I'm just afraid I can't give you a child, Mom. I'm afraid I can't give you a grandchild. In fact, that is what he wants with our marriage, said Ayu with teary eyes.
Angga. What Ayu said was true, but she did not necessarily feel pressured by it all.
''Being pregnant and having children is not a source of happiness for married couples. It is just a bonus and trust from God. So you don't have to feel burdened.'' For the umpteenth time Angga assured.
Ayu took a deep breath. Trying to get rid of what's been covering him all this time.
"But how about mama __"
Angga landed his finger on Ayu's lips. Stop the woman's conversation.
''Don't think about Mom, it's my business. I'll talk to him later. The important thing is that we've been working every day.'' Down his eyebrows which made Ayu chuckle.
Angga can always make Ayu regardless of the problem with all her jokes. The much younger man was able to become the smart leader in the household.
The only thing Ayu wants from the man is to never change at any time.
O God, all this time I have never demanded anything. May you give your best for me and Angga.
''From now on, never test again, because it will only make you disappointed if the result is negative. Stay positive and don't get discouraged. Rest assured God will give the best for us, said Angga once again.
Ayu tightened her embrace. Thank the Angga who will accept what is.
''Come, Ma...Pa. We are leaving, said Alifa who is ready to wear a uniform.
Ayu hurriedly rubbed her tear-filled cheeks. Prepare food for those waiting in the dining room.
Poor Ayu, I should be able to make her forget about pregnancy. I had to convince him that without children I was happy.
Angga also took breakfast together before leaving for the house of Winda.
