Winner’s POV
“I?? You must be kidding, right?” Bahram seemed to really not believe that he was currently the target of the One-man Knight with a powerful aura that was truly frightening.
“You. . . seems to underestimate yourself, Bahram. I admit your ability to control the wind is a not-so-good ability.” Talk to Bahram, though, Knight One gestured to the person next to him to save the man who had been defeated by Bahram and was now trapped in the cliff face due to the tremendous impact of the red stick punch belonging to Bahram.
While Bahram was just silently listening, so were we as spectators who knew nothing and could only be silent for our safety.
“But the equipment you use is amazing. You can stand and move freely even when on the water with those shoes. That red stick can also change size as you wish. But. .” Knight One stopped his remark when Knight Three could bring the injured Knight Five beside him and to momentarily examine his injuries.
“But what?” This time Bahram opened his mouth to speak
“How is it?” Knight One asked Knight Three who was examining the wounds of Knight Five.
“The impact we saw was truly extraordinary. Many bones are broken and pierced into the internal organs. It will take some time for me to heal him and when I do that, maybe I won't be able to help much for Knight One.”
“Just help me as much as you can.” Knight One then turned his gaze towards Bahram again and now answered a question from Bahram. “But only you can use that equipment. I made sure earlier on the battlefield that all of your comrades from the Peacekeepers of the Ingmar Alliance, none of them used one of your equipment.”
“Then?” Bahram asked again.
“That means you're special. You're an anomaly we've never met and your abilities may not be that limited. Even Knight Three, capable of imitating almost all unique abilities, failed to replicate your abilities. Knight Five can't touch you with its metals and Knight Two is able to control other people's minds easily, can't control your thoughts and make you walk towards us. It's obvious that you're special and it makes me want you even more, Bahram.”
I shuddered at Knight One's words with that cold smile. The word ‘wants’ coming out of his mouth that I heard, is more similar to the word ‘obsession’ than the word ‘wants the actual’.
“You certainly don't think it can take me as easily as turning your hand, do you?” Bahram began to take a swing to attack. His right hand clasped tightly onto his red staff while his empty left hand prepared to create a wind protector to protect him.
“If it's easy to take you, then I won't intervene alone to see you, Bahram. You are another form of pleasure that amuses me, Bahram.” Knight One suddenly made a move with his left hand as if he was gesturing to Knight Three who was treating Knight Five who was being severely injured.
The seawater under Knight One's feet suddenly moved due to the help of Knight Three. Not long after that Knight One moved swiftly towards Bahram and attempted to attack Bahram with a punch of his hand.
. .booom.
The blow from Knight One landed in the water and then caused a very intense vibration until the sea water around the place where the blow overflowed like a tsunami picture.
Bahram who knew the rigors of the blow from Knight One suddenly moved backwards towards the ship where we were and then raised his left hand making a protective layer from the wind to stop the sea water moving towards the ship and make a large enough wave that might be called a small tsunami.
“Prok. . . Prok. .” Knight One clapped his hands with a smile on his lips. “You can dodge apparently, Bahram! With your ability to control the wind and even make the wind such a protector, you must be able to withstand the tsunami waves, Bahram. It's really interesting! You are so interesting!”
“Saviour!”
That sudden voice sounded beside me, making my attention momentarily diverted in another direction.
“We came.”
I stared at the two men beside me in the same black suit and sunglasses that Bahram wore when I first met him. I recognize one of the two men. I remember well that the man introduced himself by the name of Sixth on the day of my first meeting with Bahram.
“Sixth, Second! Did Zero send you here?” Bahram asked with a slight glance towards the two men beside me while continuing to be wary of Knight One before him.
“Wah it seems. . . two small flies have come to help you, Bahram!” Knight One moved again and this time really intended to take down Bahram.
“I understand. But in exchange I will let Second be here to help you.”
“. .” Bahram did not reply as his mind was focused on Knight One in front of him who kept trying hard to attack him and trying to catch him.
A man named Second then jumped down from the ship. And surprisingly, this man named Second was also able to stand on water as if his body was lighter than the density of water.
“I'll take you away from this terrible fight.” Right after saying that, the man named Sixth raised his hand and was about to snap his finger to make the ship and all its contents to move.
But just before the man named Sixth snapped his finger, I jumped towards the ocean and managed to avoid the move. Byur. . . I tried to swim in the middle of the sea without wearing a float or other safety.
“Holy \*\*\*\*. What did you just do, Mr Winner?” The man named Second cursed at me when he realized I had jumped off the ferry that was supposed to take me away from Bahram and also away from this fight.
Buk. Wush. I had not had time to reply to the swearing when my eyes that were wet with salt-filled sea water looked towards Bahram who was hit by a blow from Knight One and crashed to the point of almost getting closer to me and Second be in.
“I managed to get to you, Bahram.” Knight One smiled happily as one of his dozens of punches finally managed to hit Bahram and possibly hurt Bahram.
“Win. Winners. What did you just do???” Bahram who had just been hit by the blow was staring at Knight One, but his mouth just called out my name. “Why did you jump off the ship??”
Second helped me to stand on the water with abilities I did not know. If Winner was someone else, perhaps she would get angry when she heard her bodyguards call her by her name directly. But Winner is me and that name-calling reminds me of a person and a dream I just had last night.
Win. Winners. It was the typical calling of someone who has always been in my heart since I went to college until now.
Win. Winners. It was the call of my name that was always uttered by one girl who had never even been fascinated by my good looks and always thought of me as her friend.
Win. Winners. It was the call of my name from the girl that made me regret some things and time that I just missed.
Sixth appeared beside Second all of a sudden. “Should I send Winner now, back to her manager??”
“No. Zero's prediction is about to happen. We can't leave Savior if we want to save him. It's just. .”
“What's it all?” Sixth asked Second.
“Why has Zero said nothing about this man beside me??”
Sixth looked at me with a gaze that I thought might be half annoyed and the other half in disbelief. “Maybe Zero could not see his future because he had never touched it directly. He is a variable that may not be taken into account or not seen by Zero.”
Hearing Zero's name being mentioned, for a moment I felt curious. Who is this Zero? What prophecy did Zero say that made two of Bahram's colleagues look at me in annoyance?
