CHAPTER 15 WEAPONS: WHEEL SHOES?

On the other side of the room. 

After confirming that Ruyi Jingu Bang's artificial red baton had managed to obey some of his orders, Sarayu then took the roller skates brought by Seventh and put them on both feet. After the two skates were attached, Sarayu then tried to walk normally using the skates. 

It didn't take long for Sarayu to get her body used to the roller skates on both legs because at the age of 15, Sarayu used her brother's skate line. 

“Successful.” Sarayu muttered little to see her body still remembering her old experience when using the skate line at the age of 15 years. 

Prok. . . prok. . . 

Along with the small success of Sarayu, Seventh and Second who were in the same room then applauded Sarayu for the small success made by Sarayu. 

“Thank you for the applause. Sarayu gave a small smile as she returned the applause she received from Seventh and Second. Sarayu's gaze then shifted in another direction when she saw Ninth entering her training room. “Ninth?” 

Hearing Sarayu's words, Second and Seventh who had been unaware of Ninth's arrival immediately turned around and looked in wonder at Ninth. 

“Ninth?” seventh and Second at the same time. 

“What brought you here, Ninth?” added Seventh.

Without a smile and putting on his flat face, Ninth walked closer towards Seventh, Second and Sarayu. “I'm here to see my creation with Forth.” 

“Then where is Forth?” ask Seventh again. “Why are you the only one here?” 

Ninth glanced towards the camera that recorded the entire picture in the training room. “Forth don't need to come here directly, you know that well, Seventh? Forth just needs to look from the camera and record the results of the trial conducted by Sarayu.” 

“If so, why are you here yourself? Don't you just have to look from the camera too?” reply Second confused. 

“As an engineer, it is necessary for me to see firsthand,” Ninth raised one hand and pointed to his own eyes and ears in turn. “and heard directly. That way, I can see and feel the sound of the machine when walking. If something goes wrong, I'll be able to find it just by looking at Sarayu's way or hearing her engine sound.”

Sarayu did what Ninth asked her to do and began to show her how to walk using roller skates attached to her legs. Not long after trying to walk around the entire training room, a small smile appeared on Ninth's lips. 

“Good. I don't think there's a problem to walk, Miss Sarayu. Now I'll explain how it works to run to you, Miss. .” Ninth enthusiastically began to explain how the roller skates Sarayu asked him to work. As in the anime series-Air Gear, the roller skates that are on both feet Sarayu currently have the same concept. The skates were fitted with a large powered mini motor mounted on the rear wheels. To make the skates run at high speed, the user only needs to press the back of his foot or heel instead of the gas pedal. The high pressure exerted by the heel or the back of the foot, will then trigger pressure on the mini motor attached to the back and make the rotation more tight. 

Sarayu nodded her head, listening to Ninth's long explanation for her.

“What is understandable, Miss?” tanya Ninth ended his long explanation. 

“I understand.” 

“If Miss already understands, can Miss try it?” pinta Ninth's. “Ah and another way to brake or reduce its speed, does Miss already know?” 

Sarayu who was about to press the back of her legs then stopped her intentions and looked towards Ninth while tilting her head. “Ji-if I don't misunderstand the concept, then to reduce the speed, I just need to reduce the pressure on the back of my legs. Is that true, Ninth?” 

A smile appeared on Ninth's lips, while Seventh and Second could only gawk in surprise at the answer given by Sarayu. 

“That's right, Miss.” 

“Ba-how could he easily understand the complicated concept just described by Ninth?” Seventh whispered to Second with an astonished and surprised face. 

“I'm the same here as you, Seventh.” Second looked towards Sarayu with a look of admiration and then remembered the file Forth had shown him before his training with Sarayu began. “But, Seventh. .” 

“But what?” whispered Seventh. 

“Bu-isn't it weird if Sarayu is able to understand Ninth's speech easily?” reply Second still with a look towards Sarayu who started trying to use her roller skates to run like Ninth's orders. 

“What's up, Second?” 

“Among us, Forth, Eight and Ninth have degrees in engineering. Even though you can copy anything, because the title you have is just art. It makes you repeatedly fail to copy objects properly because you do not understand the concept or how it works. While I can manipulate time, only have a degree in economics. .” 

“Why are you suddenly carrying a title that even I have forgotten??” sela Seventh with her upset face although her eyes still look towards Sarayu who ran without difficulty using Ninth's roller skates. “Will it make the difference between us and Sarayu who understands Ninth quickly?” 

“There, Seventh.” 

Seventh turned his gaze from Sarayu towards Second who was standing next to him with a surprised face. “What's the difference, Second?” 

“Sarayu also has a degree in engineering, Seventh. That means the way their minds work does not differ much. .”

Seventh who was surprised by Second's remark then turned his face again and looked towards Sarayu who started running fast using her roller skates. Seventh's current gaze was completely incredulous that the woman whom Ethan had been wanting to find for quite some time was not the ordinary woman he had seen. 

Sarayu's run is getting louder. Sarayu had managed to control the roller skates on both her legs as if they were her own. During the five rounds he did, Sarayu who followed Ninth's orders to speed up or slow down his running speed, had absolutely no problems with his control. Sarayu's body adapted quickly as she expected. 

While running in skates on both feet, Sarayu recalls memories of her youth where she was so fascinated with the Air Gear anime series. How does it feel to feel the wind? How does it feel to run at high speed? The picture of the question always appears in Sarayu's mind when looking at the Air Gear anime series in her youth. 

Sarayu would not have expected if her childhood wish in her youth was now truly realized. 

“Ruyi,” cried Sarayu calling Ruyi Jingu Bang's mock red staff that stood leaning against the wall of the training room. 

Sarayu's shout made Second, Seventh and Ninth who were in the same room with Sarayu to be momentarily shocked at not knowing the intention behind the call. 

The red wand moved itself towards the hand of Sarayu who was in the receiving position and after making sure the stick was within his grasp, Sarayu began to give another command. “. . elongated right in the section I pointed at!”
