CHAPTER 16 FACING KING PART.3: KEEGEN OFFICIALS DIALOGUE WITH DHAFIN
Keegen's official, the Chief Royal Officer immediately turned to look at Dhafin. For a moment he looked at the boy with a gaze that was hard to guess. His face looked calm.
While Dhafin showed no change when stared at. His eyes remained forward, unmoved. But that doesn't mean his view is empty. His face was so calm and calm. His feet are still sitting cross-legged. Both of his hands were gathered under his navel. So calm was the child, the one who saw it like a seated statue. Howsoever....
Frankly, the Keegen official had observed the boy several times. He was quite astonished to also see her so calm demeanor. At least the child was about eleven years old, just like Prince Adrian Carel, or slightly above him Prince Brian Darel. But the new Dhafin of that age already had a calm disposition.

I don't know what this simple remark was made by the Keegen Office to Dhafin? Does he consider Dhafin to be like most children who are happy with gifts and awards? Adults are happy of course. Or did he intend to lure something from Dhafin with his words?
What is Dhafin's response? Yes, he wants a response from Dhafin, not just an answer.
"Before I respond to your words, may I order something, Mr Office?" early times Dhafin spoke directly saying 'responding'. Apparently he knew that Officer Keegen was not just in need of answers.

"...But I say," he continued, "you are so shameless in expecting gifts and rewards that you are not entitled to receive, because I'm not sure you did such a great thing, adults may not be able to...!"
So smoothly Prince Adrian spewed his insults that were heard by all those in the Palace Hall. Some officials, including General Felix, were only able to stroke the chest and resist the arrogance of the arrogant prince that was so easy to insult people. What a prince who does not know this custom has shown a bad image in front of Dhafin who he said is a lowly boy.
Other officials were pleased that Prince Adrian was speaking. Because of his words they consider as a seasoning flavoring in every meeting.
While King Darian was actually restless also if his first son spoke which often hurled insults. But just shut it down first. He wanted to see how Dhafin responded to each of the First Prince's remarks.

While Dhafin did not budge in the slightest over the cheap speech of Prince Adrian, let alone respond. He just quietly waited for the Keegen official to answer his question earlier.
Meanwhile, Prince Brian Darel became interested in Dhafin. The child is not easily affected by anything that happens around him, including smelling his brother's cheap chatter. He remained calm and focused on who his interlocutor was. Isn't that a wonderful thing about a little boy like Dhafin?
"How about, Mr Office?" tanya Dhafin remained calm and courteous.
"Don't you respond to Prince Adrian?" The Keegen official asked what he knew. Was it about to involve the haughty prince in their conversation? Wh-wh-what for?
"Master spoke to me, and I also spoke to mister. Why involve others who have no interest?"
"You insulted me, Little Boy?!" damprat Prince Adrian beaver. "Don't you know I'm the First Prince huh? Can you say I'm not interested? Huh!"

King Darian and some of the officials were stunned to hear Dhafin's soft but clear speech. They had not expected that a young child of that age to be able to think of such a great speech. They understood the meaning in that speech.
While some others can only throw a cynical look at Dhafin for his words. They understood that remark was clearly insinuating to the Chief Official. They were not happy at the remark, but did not dare to say anything. Wrong-wrong they became the next target after the Chief Official.
Keegen's office remained silent. Either he is still thinking about Dhafin's words or is looking for a great speech to respond to Dhafin's words. He knew Dhafin was insinuating him. After that he insinuated to the Advisory Office. Now it's her turn to be shunned. Did the boy inadvertently conspire with Counselor Noman to attack him?

Meanwhile, General Felix and Lieutenant Fidell who were sitting in the back of it just kept quiet. If the two were not spoken to, they would have kept quiet. This dangerous play they had arranged earlier before coming to the palace.
Although General Felix realized that Counsel Noman must have known that he was lying. But his best friend still did not speak up even though it was insinuated by the Keegen official earlier. And now it's the Chief's turn to be quipped by a little boy.
"I don't think General Felix took you to Kotaraja as a friend of his daughter" Keegen said after a moment of silence. He tried to remain calm in speaking, although his heart gave off a bit of a strange gurgle. This was evident from his smile and his slightly strange eyes. And once he spoke he immediately guessed. "There must be a more important goal. Isn't that right, Felix's office?"
"Sorry, Chief Official," General Felix said without much thought. His words remained gentle and polite. "I can't say anything other than what I said. If you want me to speak another, I don't understand. Please understand, Chief Officer."
"Is that so clever, sir?" dhafin said spewing insinuations again." Designing something that does not exist, then packaging it in the form of guesses, then the master's work you make as evidence. Evidence that there is a part in the disclosure of the crime of Pendar City Officials. The point is that you are just guessing. How great is your master's intelligence then."
"Dhaffin! A vagrant child like you will still not rise in rank," said the third official of the three officials who insinuated General Felix was cynical with insults, "even though you let out words that seemed to make the people here be amazed, you are still a vagrant child, not going to raise your degrees before His Majesty."
Not playing indignation General Felix heard the insults of the official. But he kept trying to calm down. He was sure Dhafin could handle it.
"Oh, I didn't expect my words to amaze people" Dhafin said, remaining well-mannered and polished with a smile of astonishment. "I just said something that should have been said."
"And if I may tell you, sir," he continued, "the vagabond is far better and nobler than a traitorous noble...."
Not playing with the astonishment of the official just heard Dhafin's great speech just now. And not just him, several other officials, including the Keegen official who could not immediately find a sentence to refute the words of Dhafin earlier. It was as if Dhafin's speech just now was a total insinuation to them. So why do they feel overwhelmed?
Other officials, however, nodded at Dhafin's words, including General Myles. Seemed from the look of their faces to justify the speech. Yes, a vagrant is far better and nobler than a traitorous noble!

"Office Keegen!" King Darian Cashel turned to look at the official who looked like the youngest person in his chair. "Is there something you still want to say?"
"Even so, Your Majesty," said the Keegen official in full reverence. His tone seemed to regret something. "Hamba only regrets that the child who participated could not get gifts and awards from His Majesty. We want to see it."
"Lord Office! Do you really want to see people who get prizes and awards," asked Dhafin in the sentence that is no less great, "or want to know who contributed to dismantle the crime of the City Office of Pendar?"

"Clean Fidell!"
"Hamba, Your Majesty."
Then the deputy General Felix stepped forward quickly before King Darian. The song immediately he knelt gave reverence.
"Hamba is ready to accept punishment, Your Majesty," he said in a steady tone.
"This time I forgive you" said King Darian. "Next time don't do something like this again, you may not be forgiven anymore."
"Welfare and salvation abound to His Majesty," Lieutenant Fidell bowed in reverence, grateful for King Darian's pardon and generosity. "Hamba sends thousands of thanks for His Majesty's forgiveness and generosity."
After sending Lieutenant Fidell back to his place, King Darian turned to look at General Felix and advised him to better discipline his unity and not act outside his orders.
While the official Keegen just silent to hear the decision of King Darian, without thinking to protest it. His mind was still curious about Dhafin's actions in this Palace Hall.
