The Legend of the Devil

The Legend of the Devil
Ch. 215 - The Blood Horn

"For a murderer there is no losing or winning, for which there is life or death."

The whispers of voices inside the dimly lit room rang out clearly, a man in black clothes and a fox mask touching a painting that was five times larger than his own body. The colorful shards of glass made it look beautiful to look at, yet the painting had a gloomy meaning.

He rewinded himself to be able to see the painting perfectly.

A sword that had a different aura even though it only looked at him through a painting. It is as if he has a whole life. The man never got tired of looking at her every day and wished he could touch her directly with both hands.

"I risked everything to get you ..." He stroked the glass plan. "You are brighter than the sun."

The two pairs of eyes shrunk, all his plans had matured.

"It's time to move" he whispered as he turned around, his robe fluttering until he reached the exit where tens of thousands of people were waiting for him.

In the middle of the new Red Taring headquarters, chaos struck. Hundreds of the group members looked on in shock and fear as a girl appeared with shocking power. With an agile movement, he smashed the buildings and objects around him with a ray of light that blew up the place.

The girl was a disciple of Chao Mi who was tragically killed in the old headquarters. In his heart, he harbored deep pain and anger, blaming the Red Taring group that failed to protect his teacher.

In his hand he grasped the Ice Stone, a celestial body that gave off a mighty power. The brilliant light from the rock was able to turn a human into ice, smashing it into dust. With that power, he rampaged mercilessly, avenging his revenge on anyone who dared to stand in his way.

The girl was notoriously haphazard and could not control her emotions like an explosive bomb. He could not hold himself back anymore and a burst of light shot out from within him, triggering an explosion of energy that shook the surroundings. The other members of the Red Taring also experienced shock and indignation for his actions.

Within his hand was an Ice Stone that emitted a terrifying blue light. With a hand full of despair, the girl directed the Ice Stone's power towards a portion of the Red Taring headquarters. In the presence of all the shocked members of the group, the devastating attack smashed the buildings with ease, turning them into piles of debris and dust that were thrown all over.

A cold and deadly aura filled the air as the Ice Stone sent out waves of energy freezing around it. Members of the Red Taring that were near the attack were shocked and tried to dodge, fearing the deadly impact.

In an instant, the atmosphere in the Red Taring headquarters turned into chaos and despair. The blue light emitting from the Ice Stone held tightly by him enveloped the quarter headquarters, emitting a deadly ice power.

Along with his attack, the temperature around the headquarters drastically decreased. The air that was originally warm and alive, now became bone-chilling cold. The hundreds of Red Taring members who were in the area felt a chill shackling their bodies.

Suddenly, ice began to form around them quickly. The ice power was devouring the surroundings greedily. The people near the center of the attack were fixated, trapped in a deadly ice freeze.

So quickly, they turned into fragile ice sculptures. In a trapped state, their bodies began to break into tiny pieces of ice scattered around them.

The sound of ice cracks accompanied this terrifying scene, creating an increasingly terrifying atmosphere.

Members of the Red Fangs who witnessed the tragedy were unable to do anything. They are fixated, unable to move or escape from the same fate.

The riots and the destruction of half the headquarters felt more and more real when the ice shards fell on the ground,

However, before he could continue waging destruction, a mysterious figure with a golden cross mask appeared all of a sudden. In that silence, the figure managed to silence the girl, saving the headquarters from further destruction. The two figures stared at each other, one full of anger and despair, the other filled with wisdom and decisiveness.

"Stop it if you still want your bones intact."

Amidst the silence created, the new Red Taring headquarters felt like a place that had just been hit by an ice storm. Darkness enveloped the shattered spaces, and the group members felt an inevitable tremor of tension.

A mysterious figure with a golden cross mask stood tall in front of the raging girl. His face was hidden behind a mask that exuded a terrifying aura of power. The figure tried to stop the girl for the safety of the group but her intentions were not well received.

The mysterious girl further sharpened her attacks. With agile and nimble movements, he fought back stubbornly. Each of his attacks and movements were accompanied by the power of light as well as the power of ice emitting from the Ice Stone he was holding, creating a bang and an explosion that broke out in the headquarters.

An inevitable fight ensues between the two. Their attacks and defences clashed with each other fiercely. Each of their steps produced a bang and a ripple of force that shook the surroundings. Red Taring Headquarters became a great battle arena, with attacks that shot here and there.

However, even though the mysterious girl fought stubbornly, the figure with the golden cross mask remained calm and controlled the situation.

His movements were measured and calculating, dodging the girl's attack at a speed that his opponent was difficult to follow. The girl felt slighted and her emotions grew even more so.

The tension and force emanating from their fight created a gripping atmosphere. Each punch and attack had a huge impact, shaking the entire base. The sounds of impact and explosions filled the space with overwhelming force.

The other members witness a fight between two opposing forces, while the atmosphere around them is filled with tension and unexpressed destiny.

**

The sword eyes gleamed by the reflection of the sunlight, still so early in the morning but the atmosphere in the city suddenly crowded. The news of the disappearance of the Bing Empire stone became a huge threat that finally really happened.

The Red Fangs did not provide an opportunity and would actually create war. The fall of the Earth Ruler Element Stone into the hands of the enemy was a serious matter. Now none of the people of the Feng Empire could breathe quietly. Including Xue Zhan who was looking for a way out in order to get to Diqiu Empire soon.

He suddenly stopped his steps and took a step back by ten steps, his face was so shocked that in an instant a strong wind blew and made dozens of people bounce. A wind whirls in the middle of the city street until a mysterious figure with a black hood slowly appears.

He stood in front of Xue Zhan, his gaze fixed on the young man.

It was clear who the man was after, Xue Zhan grumbled in annoyance. He was in a hurry and wanted to meet Xiang Yi Bai to tell him everything he got. There is no time to fight the enemy anymore.

But just as Xue Zhan was reminded of Miss Wen's message, he had to be careful with the red-hooded man. But the girl didn't tell me more.

"In a hurry, little devil?"

"Why is his power different from that of an ordinary human?" his inner. Xue Zhan showed a cautious attitude and had yet to respond to his words.

"One man is never enough to stop a war" he said, pulling a sword from behind his back. "But one man alone is enough to create war."

His eyebrows are tightly knit. That person was most likely a Red Taring man, since this war was the group's plan. Xue Zhan directly repelled the incoming sword from the front, the two weapons met each other. A few seconds created sparks from the iron blades that collided. Even within such a close distance Xue Zhan was still unable to read How much strength his opponent possessed.

His eyes only grasped a strange force that filled that entire body. He's not human.

"You're the undead from the Jade Ghost Tower?" Xue Zhan was straight to the point. The man's defense weakened slightly, perhaps in shock before finally retaliating even stronger.

"I like your sharp eyes."

"A life that can talk and think?"

Xue Zhan did not understand anymore what the Red Taring was really thinking. They have come so far just for the sake of fighting over the heirloom of the sky. Make people die alive and give thought to them.

"It's more precisely a spirit that has a place to come back to life."

Xue Zhan pushed his opponent's sword. "It turns out they created more than one type of undead. Fuckin."

Xue Zhan had seen two types of undead from the headquarters of the Ghost Jade Tower. The other was just an ordinary corpse that could move without any sense. Then the two corpses that could fight were controlled by a thread of power belonging to the Poet Ghost.

Now those who can live are given spirits. Only a few humans on this earth could create such a creature. Or it is likely that they have collected some World Miracle Treasures and combined them to create havoc.

"You're wrong to call me the undead." The man started to seriously fight. "I am a resurrected soul. It's different."

A force strong enough to hit Xue Zhan's head, the young man held him back but his body still bounced back against an inn until it broke inside. Xue Zhan sat down with wood debris falling on him.

There had never been an undead that possessed such power. He has the strength of a swordsman, his thinking power and his way of speaking are all completely human.

"I'll teach you what death feels like."

His hand filled with dark power transformed into a sharp spear tip, Xue Zhan caught it right in front of his heart until his ten fingers bled.

"No need to work hard...." He raised his face and immediately looked at that faceless figure. "I've died in the Pit of Regret."

His fists clenched and hit that formless face, this time a black hooded figure bounced against the wall of the inn. Some guests ran in fear from the inn after seeing the fight, not even one of them dared to interfere.

Xue Zhan saw the opportunity when the opponent was slightly off guard. With a quick move he kicked a stick that was nearby, drifting towards his opponent with deadly speed. The wood landed right on the arm of the black hood swordsman until it broke, stopping its movement for a moment.

Not wasting a chance, Xue Zhan darted forward with an even stronger attack. His sword spun rapidly, creating a circle of light that radiated from the tip of his sword. The attacks came on end, forcing the enemy to defend with stalks and occasionally being pushed to destroy the bulkhead of each room.

The inn was starting to get destroyed by the fight of the two. Xue Zhan inevitably had to fight, he could not continue on the journey being chased by that figure. From the very beginning Xue Zhan suspected he had been followed and his premonition was right but often he did not feel the air of his presence.

Without stalling for time Xue Zhan directly issued a final strike to end the fight. He slashed his opponent's head and pierced right at the heart, two attacks at once making the man fall covered in blood.

At the same time his opponent swung the sword over his head. Xue Zhan thought it was just a stray attack yet he was wrong.

The figure was aiming for a horn on the left of his head, although only hit at the tip, blood began to drip from his head.

The hooded figure in front of him had died but in an instant Xue Zhan saw a shadow nearby that blurred through the window. He followed her and saw the figure was similar to that black hood.

The young man turned around with a puzzled look, his enemy had absolutely no intention of killing him.

Then why is he after his horn. Xue Zhan felt his head, should the horn have been covered enough by his hair and mask. He felt the bleeding end.

The very tip of the horn disappeared. Most likely the figure earlier picked it up when it was cut off, Xue Zhan grieved in annoyance.

"Otherwise, what are they after this?" It could be that Xue Zhan could not guess what they were actually planning.

"What is the horn really for?"

Xue Zhan's movement halted for a moment. His memory goes back several years before Lin Yu Shan died.

The day before the arrival of a group of Red Fangs to his village, a man had a chance to visit their home and ask for Xue Zhan's blood.

Both of his hands were cold instantly. His blood is what they want.

Xue Zhan again allowed his enemy to move faster to reach his goal. He growls. "Damn it!"

But his emotions were immediately muffled when someone came up with a paper containing notes. Xue Zhan accepted it while furrowing an eyebrow.

"Note of lodging losses?"

And the more frustrated the young man made.
