"Sorry sir, what exactly do you want to say?" daritri asked quietly after hearing Wardhana's story.
"You're really in danger, harming His Majesty's beloved concubine is your biggest mistake. I may not be able to help you escape the harsh punishment of having betrayed the Malwageni but I may be able to help you escape the death penalty" Wardhana replied softly.
"I don't understand what you mean sir" Daritri replied with a pale face.
"The more you deny, the more I like this game" Wardhana replied.
"Master, I've brought it," said Oxen Sora arrived from behind the door.
"Bring him in" Wardhana ordered quickly, his eyes constantly staring at Daritri.
"Okay, sir" Sora's cow stepped in with Airin.
"Tu. mister," Airin lowered his head in salute before sitting next to Daritri.
"Is your sleep good?" ask Wardhana.
Airin only nodded slowly when she realized Daritri was looking at her sharply.
"I'm sorry for what happened to you, just because of the cloth given by your late mother you were involved in great danger" Wardhana said
"Mother's gift cloth? I'm sorry sir, I don't understand what you mean, my mother is still alive today" Airin replied confusedly.
"What do you mean? wasn't it.." Unfinished Daritri finished his remark, Wardhana hit the table hard which made the two of them go silent for a moment.
"No one can answer before I give the order! Don't try to test my patience, right now I've been very kind to you" cried Wardhana.
"I'm sorry sir" replied Airin and Daritri almost simultaneously.
"Continue!" wardhana told Airin.
"Hamba did not understand what you meant earlier sir, because until now the mother of the servant was really still alive."
Wardhana turned towards Daritri whose body now seemed to shake violently.
"Are you trying to play me?" wardhana's voice is rising.
"Hamba doesn't dare sir, he's been lying. At that time he really asked me for permission to take the cloth," said Daritri.
"Is that true?" Wardhana turned to Airin.
Airin's face looked disappointed at the feeling of being sacrificed by Daritri.
"Hamba never asked for permission, sir" said Airin.
"Then what were you doing in the queen's pavilion back then? weren't you on duty that night?"
"That's.that's..." Airin hesitantly answered Wardhana's question.
"Listen, this morning there were two warriors infiltrating the dormitory, if I wasn't too quick to put a guard there maybe now you're a corpse.
You're the key to all this, your life is under threat because sooner or later you're gonna be killed to cover up all this trouble and only I can save you, so tell me everything you know," wardhana said calmly.
Airin was silent for a moment, he was seen stealing glances at Daritri before speaking.
"Hamba was ordered to direct mistress concubine to the forest master," Airin replied softly, water he said began to drip on his cheeks. His body trembled violently signifying an overwhelming fear.
"Who gave you the order?" chase Wardhana.
"Mrs Daritri sir."
Daritri's face changed instantly, his clenched arms holding in anger.
"Is that true?" ask Wardhana.
"Sorry sir, everything he said was a lie. I really didn't know about the problem that night. He asked for permission to take the cloth given by his mother left in the queen's pavilion, I didn't know if it turned out that he was lying" Daritri replied.
"It's not him who's lying but me" Wardhana replied with a smile.
Daritri scrunched his forehead, he still did not understand Wardhana's words.
"Did I ask you something while you were in this room yesterday?" ask Wardhana to Airin.
"No sir, I am confused as to why you are silent without asking anything" replied Airin.
"What's interesting is how your answer is the same as what I wrote on this scroll. All of the answers on this scroll were the result of a powerful essay yesterday and not Airin's answer.
Did you read it before I came? if it's true, then are you lying?" wardhana Cecar.
Daritri was silent a thousand languages, there was no more denial that he could get out of his mouth, he really had entered the trap that Wardhana had prepared.
Daritri does not expect Wardhana to ask Airin anything and prepare a false answer to trap him.
The cows Sora and Airin finally understood Wardhana's attitude yesterday, they were so amazed by all the traps Wardhana had prepared.
"Just like Airin, I can help you escape the death penalty even if I don't promise you freedom on the condition that you say everything you know.
It's not you I'm after, it's the great power behind you. It's not a deal because without your help I can uncover everything. Now all the options are in your hands" Wardhana said.
"You better not make things difficult for yourself, it's stupid to protect someone who wants to kill you" Sora's cow chimed in as she called her soldiers to bring the swordsman who was crippled by Lingga this morning.
"He was the one who infiltrated the royal hostel, his job was to kill you both" Wardhana said.
Daritri and Airin's face turned pale after hearing Wardhana's words.
"You're just a tool, and the one that can protect you right now is only the Malwageni" Wardhana added.
"It all started with a man who came to my house a few days after the news of Majasari's destruction spread. She offered me a huge sum of money if I wanted to register as a royal lady.
At first I did not understand what his purpose was until I finally met Lord Aswangga, he arranged everything including giving me the position of head royal lady.
A few days after my meeting with lord Aswangga, the order came down on us to look for mistress' mistress' mistress' fault until there was finally an intrusion in the queen's pavilion. That's all I know, sir, I could have sworn I didn't know why they wanted the concubine to leave the palace," jawan Daritri was brick-styled.
"Aswarangga? I never thought the Red Fire commander was involved, I'd make sure he was beheaded for his betrayal" Wardhana said.
"I'm really sorry sir, there's not the slightest bit I have any ill intentions on the mistress of the concubine. If I don't want to do it then my family is in danger" Daritri replied.
"Right now the situation is the same, I'm sure your family is in danger after they failed to kill you. Help me trap Aswarangga and I'll ask Sora to hide your family in a safe place" Wardhana said.
"Anything I will do for the safety of your servant's parents" Daritri replied.
"How are you related to Aswarangga?"
"One of the soldiers standing guard in the mistress concubine's pavilion is Lord Aswarangga's confidant, I usually send out a message while he's on guard."
"When?" chase Wardhana.
"It should be the afternoon after this examination, I have to report everything" Daritri replied.
"Where do you usually meet?"
"A house on the outskirts of the capital close to the city gate" Daritri responded quickly.
"Well, ask him to meet tonight, the rest let me take care of it" Wardhana said.
"Okay sir" replied Daritri.
"Look, the law remains the law and treason against Malwageni is your biggest mistake. I can't get you out of punishment but I can help you not be put to death and of course I guarantee your family's safety."
"Thank you sir" replied Airin and Daritri simultaneously.
"Sora, take Mrs Daritri to her place and take Airin to a special female prisoner, I'll prepare something for tonight" Wardhana ordered.
"Okay sir," Sora lowered her head as Wardhana got up from her seat and stepped away.
***
"Did they hurt you?" sabrang asked softly as he let go of his embrace.
Mentari shook her head slowly while wiping her tears.
"They did not hurt the servant at all, Your Majesty, please do not punish them" Mentari replied.
"We will talk later for whatever reason I will punish those who dare to harm you. The air is getting colder, come with me, I will make a fireplace to warm your body," Sabrang asked slowly.
Sabrang carried Mentari without asking for her consent and walked away.
"Who let you take him?" guntoro shouted again stopping Sabrang's steps.
"Dad!" bapa Mentari.
"Dad?" Sabrang looked puzzled after hearing Mentari's words.
Mentari came down from the sling and stood before Sabrang when his father had pulled out the sword.
"I've told my father many times that if I were the king's concubine, I wouldn't let anyone try to hurt His Majesty including my father" Mentari said, shouting slightly.
"Are you crazy? he is the enemy of our family!" reply Guntoro annoyed.
"He's your father?" asked Sabrang while giving a sign to Mentari to be quiet.
Not yet had time to answer, Guntoro has moved to attack. His body, which was accustomed to the conditions on the dark side of the universe, made him move as usual.
Mentari who tried to protect Sabrang looks forced to use his internal energy.
Sabrang then pulled Mentari's body back and tried to fend off Guntoro's attack.
Sabrang was forced to make a chunk of ice in his hand to welcome Guntoro's sword, he could not bring up the Fire Dragon sword because it required no small amount of energy.
A violent clash rang out as Guntoro's sword struck the ice that enveloped Sabrang's two hands.
"This is your ability? how are you gonna look after my son?" Guntoro twisted his body slightly and quickly hit Sabrang's body with his left arm.
"Damn," Sabrang's body bounced a few steps and hit the trees.
"Your majesty!" shouted Mentari, he was trying to break away from totokan Sabrang.
"I thought you were very strong, but I was wrong, is this your only ability?" sabrang said while trying to stand up.
"I used half of my power to look at my son, if I had used all my strength you would have been killed by now" Guntoro replied.
"If you dare to touch His Majesty, I will never forgive you at any time" cried Mentari.
"Quite dance! it's my problem with him" Guntoro replied growled.
"If you feel so strong then use all the abilities you have," Sabrang sneered.
"You're too arrogant, son," replied Guntoro quietly. Before long Guntoro released a considerable aura from his body.
"Dad!" Mentari's face changed instantly when she saw her father getting serious.
Sabrang closed his eyes for a moment before using the Summoning Cakra to draw pure energy from his body.
"Hey stupid! if you forcefully draw in pure energy then you will be killed instantly," the Fire Dragon said in his mind.
"Do I look like I have another choice?" reply Sabrang.
Sabrang's breath began to be cut off as slowly pure energy flowed through his body, he tried to bring out the Fire Dragon sword but to no avail.
"It takes a considerable amount of energy to pull the sword out of your body," the Fire Dragon retorted.
"I see, it looks like this fight will be very difficult" replied Sabrang slowly.
Slowly but surely both hands of Sabrang began to be enveloped in chunks of eternal ice.
"It's time to avenge my ancestors" Guntoro again moved to attack.
A loud clashing sound resounded in the air, as Guntoro's sword struck Sabrang's arm covered in eternal ice. Although Sabrang lost everything, but the experience of fighting and instinct is not really lost.
Several times a chunk of ice that enveloped both hands was destroyed but always appeared new chunks quickly.
Ice started popping around Sabrang's body and circled following Guntoro's attack.
Sabrang occasionally threw the ice knife he had created in his hand when the ice shield shattered. The quick attack of his flying knife was able to occasionally complicate Guntoro's movements.
"It's amazing that his body so quickly adapted to this place, Dwipa's descendants are completely different," Guntoro again jumped back as an ice knife shot rapidly towards him.
"Your toys will be useless in front of me" Guntoro caught the ice knife and smashed it with a single squeeze of his hand.
"Now or not at all," Sabrang again forcibly withdrew the pure energy in the body which made his speed slightly increase.
He raised two ice blades in both hands, when Guntoro managed to smash the ice wall before him, Sabrang threw the knife in his hand while moving a slight twist.
The ice flakes that covered Guntoro's view utilized Sabrang to get closer.
Guntoro who did not expect Sabrang to move so fast was forced to expend all his internal energy to beat Sabrang back.
As the northern ice fist was about to hit it, Guntoro slightly moved back to prepare for his attack.
"A pretty dangerous move but with a little deep energy, this style is just an ordinary toy," Guntoro greeted the black lightning fist with his hands, saying, but his face changed as he felt the cold temperature that came from Sabrang's attack.
"You set me up?" Guntoro tried to pull his hand but too late, the chunks of ice made his hand as if it was stuck in Sabrang's hand.
"Eternal Ice Claw," Sabrang smashed into Guntoro's body with his left hand making Guntoro's body freeze instantly.
Mentari's face seemed a little relieved to see Sabrang able to stop his father.
"I'm quite surprised to see you survive this far but it's time for me to finish you off" slowly the chunk of ice cracked and shattered into pieces.
"You think that ice skillet is holding me back?" amara on Guntoro's face.
Guntoro attacked again, as if he did not hear the screams of Mentari who asked him to stop. A dozen of his attacks were right about Sabrang who had indeed reached his limit.
The air pressure that was on the dark side of the universe made Sabrang not wrinkle, even to remove the Fire Dragon sword from his body he was unable to.
Just a little Sabrang forced his body to draw in pure energy, at that very moment his breathing became heavy.
"I'll show you what a difference in strength is," Guntoro pulled Sabrang's body closer as he tried to get away.
Guntoro's left arm seemed to be enveloped in a red aura before being smashed in Sabrang's body.
"Mountain-destroying ground," his attack hit Sabrang which sent his body bouncing away.
"Your majesty!" The mentari shouted loudly.
As Sabrang's body was about to hit the tree, the White Fox appeared and directly grabbed him.
"It turns out we are not alone" said the White Fox while draining the energy inside to Sabrang's body.
Guntoro looked surprised at the arrival of the White Fox, the speed the white-haired swordsman displayed was far above him.
"Who are you? how can your body move freely in this place?"
"I would like to ask you the same thing but it seems like there is something to take care of first because of your stupidity" the White Fox pointed to Mentari.
Mentari's body seemed to tremble along with the red aura that enveloped his body, the leaves around him fluttering for a moment before being shattered instantly.
"Dance?" Guntoro stepped closer when he saw his son's eyes turn red.
"Far away! he was like possessed by something," cried the White Fox.
"Dance? what the hell is going on with you?" when Guntoro's hand almost touched Mentari's hair arrived a punch hit his body hard which made him bounce far away.
"How does he have this much power?" unfinished Guntoro's surprise, an object darted rapidly towards Mentari and stuck in his hand.
"That? the wand of white light in the legend?" Guntoro could not hide his surprise when the wand that almost all the warriors were looking for was in his son's hands.
Mentari stared at the stick in his hand for a moment before moving to attack Guntoro.
Guntoro who had been seriously injured seemed resigned to receiving Mentari's attack, his body seemed to resist the order to move.
The little stick that Mentari was holding slowly formed a sword energy, Mentari turned his staff and swung it towards Guntoro.
"Just because of that kid you intend to kill dad?" Guntoro looked disappointed but could do nothing.
As the sword energy was about to hit him, the White Fox appeared with its heirloom machete. He fended off Mentari's attack while unleashing a punch that pushed Mentari backwards.
"Hey, please wake up! don't let any heirloom control you!" shouted the White Fox.
But Mentari as if not care, he attacked again and this time the target was the White Fox.
"Conscious! if this continues I can kill you," the White Fox increased its speed to compensate for the Mentari's movements.
The sound of explosions rang out as the two heirlooms clashed in the air.
Sabrang regained his senses from his stupor as the sound of explosions continued to sound in the air, he gasped in shock upon seeing Mentari fighting the White Fox.
The sun was seen starting to be cornered even though the white light stick continued to flow energy into his body. His increasingly reddened eyes indicated that his body had reached its limit.
"I had to stop their fight," Sabrang tried to get up but the excruciating pain he still felt, Guntoro's last attack breaking some of his ribs.
"I'm sorry, I have to hurt you miss," the White Fox swung her sword as she looked at the gap in Mentari's defense, she struck Mentari's arm with the back of the sword making the stick slip off and fall to the ground.
The sun did not stay still, his left arm let out a cold temperature and tried to grab onto the White Fox's body.
"Explosion of energy within the Devil," the white fox greeted the northern ice claw with his hand.
Mentari's body was thrown due to the effect of the burst of power in the devil, when his body almost hit a tree, suddenly he disappeared in the air.
"Space and time?" The White Fox turned to Sabrang and found the moon's eyes active for the first time on the dark side of the universe.
Soon Mentari's body appeared right next to Sabrang.
Seeing Mentari injured, Guntoro forced his body to move, he ran towards Mentari.
"Don't Get Close!!!" sabrang shouted for a moment after the Fire Dragon Sword appeared in his hand. He drew the sword towards Guntoro.
"How can he use his inner strength in this place?" guntoro was confused.
It should take several full moons to be able to make the body adapt and use internal energy.
"I won't let anyone touch her" Sabrang threatened.
